I DO!  I'm pretty sure I had a Holly Hobbie Doll, didn't we all? 

I was reminiscing on PIN, easy to do…  Raggedy Ann, Cabbage patch babies (I still have my original), The Sunshine family- now we can simply see toys of our past- get that ‘warm and fuzzy feeling all over again in a few seconds.

I was looking at of all things, the ‘Doll from Trilogy of Terror, remember him??  Frig that thing terrified me.  lol 
I was thinking of making a clay version for my desk in my office… lol - as long as his necklace does not fall off, Bird should be good. 

Well there she was - Holly Hobbie and BAM it hit me as plain as day.. she needs to become  ‘Holy iHighBe’  hee hee hee. 
It is my tribute art to Holly Hobbie -the Artist - of the same name more so than the doll, her one little image became iconic and loved by many little girls & boys.  She also is famous her her children books.

My little rendition of Holly -  My little Cannabis girl is also loved by millions around the world- the cannabis part anyhow!

She turned out so adorable, I have her framed and in my bedroom.  It makes me smile when I look at her & gives me a flash back of all warm & fuzzy - it’s a win, win.

2017! I’t’s  days away from a  new year! 
2016 was I believe a good year for Cannabis - As in ending the insanity and sending less humans to prison/court for it!  More states in the USA became legal, recreational (i think they like to call it ‘Adult’) and more medical, more lives helped.  Advances are being made, although the DEA still wants some way to convict and control.  I think this will always be the case, and IF you are doing something you should not- then you have to prepare for the possibility of still being prosecuted and going to jail.

What can I say? I don't agree with the ‘drug war’ at all, anymore.  I am just stating what I see & read happening.  We all understand BIG pharma will also want a piece of the Cannapie, still less will be in jail because of cannabis!  Fewer minor possession charges, and in Canada- wow- legalization in 2017 - fewer lives ruined for possession & growing. Everyone eventually able to grow 4 plants- I hope they do, it is such a beautiful plant!  
You then will also see fresh cannabis appearing  at the super market- for those that wish to juice and add some peppery bud to a  fresh salad! It will be all the rage!  Nom Nom Nom!  The times are changing. Thank God

Fellow Canadians, please let us not forget how terrible it was under Stephen Harper, the constant harassment, serious insults and more.  Patients never knowing which way to go- PRIVATE classified information being given out for everyone to see & note.  THREATENING Canadians (patients, many very sick & terminally ill)  to destroy OUR medicine in with ‘kitty litter’ - or we would be persecuted - raided by the police- shoot our dogs?  YES, a reality for some. 
I felt an incredible weight lifted off my heart when Justing became prime Minister.  Breath. 
It takes time, he said he would. He will.  A new era has arrived in Canada - a healthier one IMO. 

2016 brought positive change for cannabis but some countries are still struggling.  
We can not make them change their minds but we can educate by example.  
Less Alcohol, lower addiction rates for tobacco as well- If you believe what you read. Research it.  People are puffing more bud, with far less harmful results- as for brain damage- long term- careful- if that were the case we would see it amongst all those that did ‘inhale- back in the day, and pretty much calling the shots NOW.  
& More revenue going to go to our schools, hospitals and cities & towns etc. because of CANNABIS. I seriously hope the Indian reserves in Canada are researching growing as well. 

I just bought a tube of ‘Brilliant green’ gouache, for more Brilliant Bud painting!
Now, it’s a few days of painting & praying for me.. no social media.

It's all common sense & I'm so grateful we as a country appear to have it.

Start up is not cheap and it is not easy. It's fantastic for the economy ' I'm reeling.

Christmas is as good a time as any to educate on Cannabis, young & old.
Firstly,  IF you still believe Cannabis hurts children, please educate yourself on the facts about Christmas trees, more children have died during the holidays due to Christmas tree fires than I ever wanted to know.  Entire famalies perish because of a holiday tradition. Leave the tree outside, alive.  I share with you now, only as a reminder !IF you have a real tree please take all precautions. Children who have died from cannabis = 0
Secondly, for all those that celebrate the birth of Jesus! Amen..   canabis is said to be an ingredient in the holy anointing oil used by Christ. Research it! You will become enlightened.  
Most important, again for all those who claim to belive in Jesus but not cannabis..
Ask yourself one thing:    W.W.J.D.?  
What would Jesus Do?  
Would he jail his brothers and sisters over a plant???
Never.

Set minds & each other free. this holiday!

For every single person who has shared, reposted, talked about (good & bad), glanced at, printed, mailed & e mailed any of my drawings. Thank you.  Each time - bringing ALL of US one step closer to ending the negative stigma attached to cannabis as a medicine.

I started drawing to educate 10 years ago- when at 14 Storm had his first bong hit and his pain was no longer controlling him- he became master & controller of it. No more tylenol, codine or morphine to constantly consider. I thank God & the universe for the cannabis plant daily!

Inspired by love & we did not want parents who were already dealing with a sick child  have to deal with some of the 'BULLSHIT' we had to.  As well as be informed it was in FACT helping with chronic bone pain, that NOTHING was able to do as well & keep our son happy & healhty & active.  We decided to share, because of the loss of judgemental family & friends to the constant questions and concerns raised by othes - including myself at times, AND the politics of it all.  Health Canada Horror stories & fear mongering rampant in our own country, never mind any place else in the past 10 years -Good riddance, to a hateful, harmful government here in Canada.  Welcome Justin, who will legalize. be patient people.

Cananbis has introduced us to a new world, literally, one filled with compassonate & understanding people,  ready to be laughed at and shunned for thier love of a plant.  People who refuse to sit back and watch all day- instead, they draw, talk, protest, bake, blog, bulldoze & blunder thier way through to make a differnence, and they do.  
I am very thankful for them.

We have also met a few 'heavy hitters' in this industry and I am thankful for them, they fight the legal battles and go to bat for the millions who cannot due to lack of  health or finance. Many have been fighting for years and yes- it too can take a toll on thier health. 
We've made many friends ;) thank you...  all around the world!  Thank You!
Friends who showed us the ropes, taught us a few tricks, took us under their wings and more. Thank You.  
A enemy or two had been made a long the way I've no doubts. YOU will never please everyone & I am grateful for them as well - they teach the the most dificult lessons - each time helping make me stronger in the process.  More determined.

Every person who has taken the time to read  this blog and ignored my continued spelling & grammar errors!  I know how difficult it is for many, there too should be a lesson, if you are judge'n me bi my spellin, with out understanding - you have too much time on your hands.
& just like judging someone for wanting to choose cannabis over  pills - we are no better.

Legalization in the spring in Canada- that's months away- you will see a change!
Less alcohol consumption (I hope), less smoking tobacco, happier & healthier people!
Less pain, more relaxing more focus too!  Safer - educated options!!
No more vulnerable young women having to visit shady drug dealers when they can get it at a local dispensary! AMEN
Ideally I would want decriminialization- it was not happening  - it still might! & SHOULD This is GOOD! This is fewer people being punished over a plant!!!

I use cannabis all day to keep moving! To keep painting, gardening, cooking, dog walking...  
To keep from sitting and getting depressed.    Nope.

Would you judge me if i told you I took my prescription all day that kept me moving, gardening, painting...  it's NO different at all.
* other than - I bet I have fewer harmful side effects. lol 

Medicate & paint * I am at peace.. a few nice breaks in between, chat with friends, play with the dogs.. dream of walking in caves.. today I imagined I could feel everything around me. My hands gently brushed across the sandy walls, images of lions- I wonder what they were thinking.  The awe in their minds as they transferred memory to walls- without the use of T.V., Photos or their iPad.  With a 'burnt stick' no less.  Remarkable. 
Talk about positive thinking,   I doubt you are allowed to touch the caves.
I might have to start with ' less popular cave art closer to home.  hee hee.

God once again showing us the miracle in daily life - Look at it!

Yes, I agree research is needed and  let's see what plants may be used to help whom..
Using  the term as an excuse is another story.
Research? Lets start with this:
Read this interesting article about a cannabis plant that was recently discovered.
"Archaeologists are hailing the discovery of an "extraordinary cache" of cannabis found in an ancient burial in northwest China, saying that the unique find adds considerably to our understanding of how ancient Eurasian cultures used the plant for ritual and medicinal purposes."  
It dates back as long as some refuse to acknowledge. 

No one has ever been documented of dying from cannabis alone, in history.
Compare that with the number of alcohol related deaths..  are you?  
Think about it.
NOW before one more kid dies.. before one more kid is arrested.

OBVIOUSLY DRUGS ARE NOT TESTED  the amount of time cannabis has been documented with the number of related deaths that continually happen throughout history with man made medications. Lets start this 'research' with Fentanyl.

Here is  the first coloring sheet designed in mind for kids.  Little kids.  Big kids too, always.
Lets start with the little ones ... plant the seed early.
Clear and to the point. When a child asks: What is it?
Please consider for a moment, simply  saying: a Plant.
It is truly that simple - IF we were forced to categorize 'it' we would indeed  call it just that: Plant.

We over complicate enough for children as it is.  
The next thing I would teach: It will not kill you.  Unlike other plants.  
We do not want them to poison themselves and die- this is why I would educate them on those plants first - and cannabis wouldn't be on that list- first might be  deadly: Lily of the Valley- anyday now.

Tell them the truth.
Many people all around the world  use this PLANT for a Natural Medicine and they have since the days of the mummy, possibly more.  Most medicines are made from plants and just like all medicine, it should be used with some care & caution.

Then, I  would let go and let them ask all the questions. I kept this drawing simple ( I have more complicated coming for the older coloring fans with a  little Buddha vibe going on)   this drawing has endless discussion possibilities and I've listed a few below:

-The sun and how it helps plants grow.
-Butterflies and their importance in the garden of life!
-Cannabis buds and  how tasty they can be, some slightly peppery. * before I have any parents on my back about kids eating bud- please we cant get them to eat broccoli and it can be very peppery.
-How many sections does the leave have? 
-What SEASON do you think is?
-Did you know - snails have teeth?
-Where do snails live?
-Do ladybugs bite?
-Why are ladybugs good in the garden?
-How many legs does this  long bug have?
-How old are worms?
-What do worms do?
-How do roots work?
-Spell the word PLANT...

Anytime you sit in conversation with your children will never be a wasted moment, especially if we are teaching them to be better, non judgemental beings, and try to forgive those  that put their parents in jail for a PLANT.

Justin trudeau - I love him . and no it's not his looks although - they are NOT bad if I do say so myself and good on him for working to keep in shape... but his  "&^%! " outburst.. 
when I read it  'get the fuck out of my way'. I can tell you, I think it too many times a day.. some days.

As in, Don't try to stop me.  Don't stop him. He is a breath of fricken fresh AIR! Thank god. Canada was getting miserable under Harper, not to think of his damaging Canada any longer -  selling off everything, we probably don't even KNOW  the 1/2 of it.
Breath in that FUCKING fresh air.  What a bunch of hypocrites and I strongly believe Justin Trudea would never intentionally physically hurt a woman - so for all this drama again.. what is it?  I can't even read it any more. It is all bullshit. I Thank God we have someone like him who see's it and recognizes it for what it is and is not afraid to say 'get the fuck out of my way.'  He did LOSE control, yes he did and it shows HE is HUMAN.  NOT some lying 2 faced *** who is going to ACT all nice in public and  different  at other times. he did show us who he is and I love him more for it. To criticize his PARTNER Sophie, for asking for 'more HELP' - please. WE ALL want more help and  IF we were in her situation - I would be asking the same.  She is far from a 'princess/Kardashian". I am thrilled to have them both -  it is why perhaps, I am so upset by the Mayor of  Toronto saying a few things.. Here we fucking GO AGAIN! Please.  I like John Torey - still. If you follow the blog You read, I was never a Rob Ford fan, I really felt bad for him - he was surrounded by nasty,  people with evil intentions.  Who does that? Sneaks... snakes.  
I wished he would have quit sooner.. he might still be here ;(.   He was sick and he had STRESS. I am sick and tired of being sick and  tired and know how MANY seriously ill Canadians feel.  The media is portraying a negative image of Cannabis still - every day I talk to someone who's 'Aunt has now tried it at 67 and is so happy with her Cancer treatments'.I had one  a few days ago. FIRST hand, yes, I guess because people know what I do. bring it on. BUT they are still confused - how, where and what.  They need compassion clubs.

If not for a compassion club all those years ago-  what a night mare this would've been- never mind living in fear from S.H., Rona.Ambrose. and - I forget the name of the other woman  already..  good. Constant threats about our sons medicine.  It is not politically correct behaviour" .  Why portray some Torontonians/Canadians  as criminals because we have made a different MEDICAL choice?  A LEGAL medicine in Canada I might add.. Do what you need to do BUT do not take away the small independent business that MAKE this country & HELP.  Not just a few-  he works for ALL Toronto.  Healthy and Sick.

I am understanding that these people all work for someone- so it appears... but it is Mr. Torey  who is "representing' - so that is who is addressed.  I wish he would just stop.  
Canada has  so much going on.. kids being used and abused every day.. so Please do not use 'Oh the children' - it can't be too close to schools' .  * I AGREE, just like I don't think a school should be beside the L.C.B.O. OR any BAR with an outdoor patio - which would do way more harm than any dispensary.   Don't believe me - research the studies with children who are abused and beaten by alcoholic parents compared to ONLY cannabis using parents.  I dare you and then come back and tell about it.  
You won't be able to.   I'm not making this stuff up. 

There is no need for Mr. Torey to include a negative connotation to Cannabis. ENOUGH. 
AND IF WE LET that happen  -what next I can't smoke my cannabis near a school?
Good luck with that.  Focus on sexual offenders of CHILDREN  who hang around schools and destroy our children mentally for life... unlike  a second hand puff of cannabis.

IF our government was truly worried about our children they would have tougher laws on trampolines - not cannabis.

Unfortunately, I see & hear trampolines-  daily- it often ends in tears - in the surrounding backyards.  I don't know what to do, commonly - I see a trampoline with 7 kids on it at a time including a toddler and then water sprinkler added to the mix- it is an accident or worse waiting to happen.. do you say anything if you see this?  No,  if I did I'd be a nasty meddling neighbour.  It blows my mind that parents go along with this... perhaps some do not know,  many trampoline accidents happen at other children's homes.  
Very often I witness kids on them with NO adult supervision.  It makes me shake my head... but that's because I have researched.  I am sure a parent does not intentionally want to hurt their kids - you can just as easily if you don't research EVERYthing.

Do not be a sheep or puppet and fall for reefer madness- know the facts.

What a day for the internet to be down! I called Rogers-our provider  only to be told on the recording 'our area was experiencing a high volume of technical difficulties.'.. 12 noon was to be the announcement - Storm grabbed his phone and we waited.  No internet and no cable, Storm did have his phone and could share  "It's a win!"

The Canadian Supreme Court of Canada ruled that medical Patients can continue to grow their own medicine!  *(not getting into all the technical right, please if you are interested- research! You will learn more than you imagined)  but, this applies to designated growers - for those who can't but had someone do it for them.  This includes many times a spouse or sibling.  Thank God.  
How could they not find in favour for patients, humans.  
The weight lifted was incredible.
I have faith but after living with Steven Harper the past few years I started to question many things I would not in the past.  
My greatest fear was wondering how Storm would go without medicine.
I swear I could hear the collective 'sigh' across Canada as it was announced!  
I loooked at Storm,  my eyes watered and we gave each other a great big hug!!

Tomorrow we will apparently have the outcome for the verdict on the court case that has been in the Supreme court of Canada- our 'highest' (pun intended).
Can patients continue to grow their own medicine?
This cartoon means no disrespect, quite the opposite in my mind. 
Storm told me 'the verdict will be in on Wednesday around noon'.
I had no fear cross my mind. I feel at peace.
I KNOW the right decision has to be made. The world is watching.
The Supreme Court of Canada will let medical patients continue to grow their own cannabis.  
I think people will have to be "grand fathered in" : 
Grandfathered in is the right or sanction provided in a statute, zoning ordinance, law etc exempting a person or entity from certain provisions contained there in, to maintain their present activities, which will be affected by the new statute, ordinance etc. For example, the Federal Assault Weapons Ban made it illegal to sell and own a semi automatic weapon that was manufactured after the date the law went into effect. Weapons that were manufactured before that date were "grandfathered in" and were allowed to be legally owned and sold.
**American definition, the same meaning - ironic they discuss guns.
Which is the only outcome I can imagine. 
​When we applied for medical cannabis for Storm at the age of 14, we were told "he was too young but he could have a designated grower!"  I remember the conversation like it was yesterday and Storms face when she told us this. The rest is history.   
Frankly, we invested thousands of dollars & took out a loan with the bank, countess hours, endless research over the years to assure Storm has the best medicine available for him, his body, his needs  & now mine  & we do.  Thank God & our grower.  :) 
When you have a child diagnosed with a terminal illness and see how cannabis helps - YOU would DO what ever you can to ease his pain and keep it away for as long as possible.
​There is no way they can NOW come and tell people 'we changed our minds.'  

 I do NOT believe Canada would turn patients not criminals over plants.
Many with severe terminal illnesses, unlike the media portrays.
​The stress alone this case has added to many patients I can tell you first hand,  has been severely CRIMINAL.

I do not believe Canada will now revoke & refuse patients already given permission and even promoted to grow their own cannabis PLANTS. 

Come on we all see where this is going anyhow in a few years... Tweed & Snoop dog? 
I blogged over a year ago about how it was going to be just like a 'brand name beer'.
Personally I was disappointed, as a mother  of a child who suffers like Storm has & the stress added to our lives with all the bullshit with Steven Haper (good riddance) and soon it will all be just a big recreational drug business.  I have nothing against 'Snoop' btw, just another business man.

Patients have been slapped in the face and kicked to the curb. Made to suffer over $$$
Oh well- business is business and if not them then someone else.  I'm still hearing and seeing all kinds of horror stories about  shitty meds that patients are getting from some of these legitimate legal grows and paying $$$ for.  
For something everyone could grow in their backyard for personal enjoyment, like our tomatoes that we jar at the end of a season.

'Grandfathered in' - makes me kinda sad.. they do this because they know we are not well, when we die the right to grows dies with us.  

I believe it is a God given right, everyone should be able to grow this PLANT if they choose to do so. IT IS A PLANT we are talking about - never forget that. Please.

Just like beer- we can make it but we'd rather go to the beer store - most of us.
Only this is NOT beer- NOT alcohol (which hurts) it is MEDICINE that is saving my sons life. & mine.
The Verdict is simple.

Canada we love you & we know you love us back!!
'You got our back '- I'm not worried.

I had this idea for weeks, I even sent one of the 'prototype's to the person who made my first Etsy purchase - He is now a follower on Instagram and liked his gifts! ;)
Thinking of Jamie- trying to remember he is free.  
Well again...  I get it, especially from my son who is living here an witnesses what we are all dealing with daily... No one wanted to tell me about Jamie but several knew.  
Shock! Sadness & anger - hit me with in minutes - could you tell, momentary madness took hold and  I forgot - Jamie is in his creators arms. With Hunny,  byw.  

I refused to let it consume me and desperately tried for 'something  happy to paint '- Cannabis on my mind as that is what brought Jamie and I together - out of love.

So of course I was thinking of Jamie.  As you are aware - I can't search with my facebook account- I do not have a newsfeed with 'Georgia Toons' - all I can do is post on my page - so I don't see anything anymore and can't keep up...  
So, right away! I'm excited and ask:

Jamies mom messaged me, Jamie died right before Christmas.

​It is a DO NOT DISTURB day.

Please help me continue to share and help educate - sooner than later!
So little ones don't have to suffer one minute more.

As you might be aware, I've been taking a break fro Cannabis cartoons - it is never far from my mind.  That is the problem, when it does enter my mind - be it the news or comment I've read elsewhere - it usually pisses me off to be blunt.
There is hint in the air -to be fair- the government or those in it, wish to treat Cannabis *which will eventually become legal in Canada much like the L.C.B.O.  
​* L.C.B.O.  For those that are not aware - In Canada- that is where we go but our booze.
Alcohol, You name it - it is there!  every kind of GIN, Whiskey, Tequila 'T-killya', Rye & wine- of every kind from every corner! Now they want to sell Cannabis too.
For one reason $$$ and to every patient who truly uses cannabis for what they NEED it for- it's a slap in the face. A slap I feel fresh every time I pick up the paper,  moms (dads) who fight still for very sick children - who Cannabis has PROVEN to help - you just kicked them in the gut.
The articles alone - I am so sick of the lack of respect - for anyone really - wording that makes me wonder what happened to 'professional journalism', which I have looked up to all my life (and wished I could be capable of- without grammar errors ;)) I do understand it tho.. its all to do just that. Piss us off. Hopefully  it gets people thinking which, I do like this particular journalist for. 

Let me tell you FIRST hand: We would have been LOST without the help of  'compassion clubs'.  That is who I am for!  Compassion Clubs.
When you find a club that is professional and cares- they take the initial time to explain,
teach- take one through the process, even shows one hoe to vaporize for example- and they do- wow! Stress can be lifted by those that KNOW best. Surrounded by it - made a profession from it.  My friend Neeve has been in the Cannabis industry in Toronto long before any of this was even a spark. Yes, I trust his opinion on what strain he thinks works best for what. Adam runs a club in Montreal that makes some od the best baked goods I've ever had. Yes, I trust his opinion before I trust the opinion of anyone at the L.C.B.O. 
YOU must find a club 'you feel good' about. You will be the ones dealing with them every time you need your medicine. 

God did put us on the right path back then!  We were blessed to have people who cared about this journey, about Storm and our family.
My Gosh! You have no idea.  I am forever grateful to them. Gabe, who I've not spoke with for years still holds a special place in my heart for the time he took and the degree that he helped us. Many are still friends today.

Doctors can't recommend a strain - they are NOT the cannabis exerts, they are 'health' experts.
For Journalists or anyone else to ASSume, compassion clubs are run by people who do not know what they are doing- that could be said for any business.
Find one that is working and frequent them. Let them prove themselves.
Below are three I know of, but I suggest you Google  'compassion club' - in your own area, home town. You might get closest city. Or ask people - it is more common then you realize. There are many cannabis friendly communities online.
I do not recommend buying from people online you do not know.
I do not recommend anyone online, I do not recommend any LP... yet.
CALM  is the club we first went to  in Toronto - what seems like a very long time ago, we have not been in years, again I stress - find one that suits you and your 'vibe' YOU must 'feel' comfortable.
Sante Cannabis Is in Montreal.  I had delt with them over the years - they had incredible baked goods, IMO.   ;) 
 The Medical Cannabis Dispensary_   is run by a woman I have come to know  and  think she is very helpful. They are in B.C.
The above are - If asked - I point in the direction, it's you own path.  

Phhhhhbt! If you think the drug stores are any different - they want the same thing the L.C.B.O. does - don't fool yourself $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

IF they do will they hand out free samples like they do at the L.C,B.O.?

I read a comment on FB Mandy McKnight made a while back and it stuck with me..  I'm not sure of Her exact words but it was something along the lines, IF Health Canada could not get it right - in HOW LONG???  -What makes them think the L.C.B.O. will be any different?
Compassion clubs started for a reason.

 This past summer I was asked for an interview regarding cannanbis- and suggested for ease we simply meet in person. It turned out to be a wonderful day spent on my part with an intelligent, funny & talented young woman who goes by the name of:  
                          Onya Ganja  @ writes under Stoner Girls Guide on Twitter  
She is not what I think of as a stereo typical  'Stoner girl'  far from it.  Well, the day was relaxed, and our interview was more of an extended conversation - which she had to sort out when back on the farm! ;) I was relieved of not having a telephone interview - or one where I had to write my response in an e mail, it was easy for me - not so much for the 'talented editor, she was also patient as when experiencing attacks, I can hardly keep my train of thought & know I constantly go "off track".
Below is the interview, I do speak my mind. I'm glad she did not include ALL of it! LOL  
I would like to add,  did not know  Justin Trudeau was going to be our new PM.
I am thrilled more an more everyday.  
My  little ROOR which I speak of,  broke, up in Halliburton - I will see about having it replaced  and had I had time to re think, I might have changed that reply to my Jerry Kelly Laughing Buddha pendant being  the one time I am beyond thrilled about!  It was thought the cannabis community  how all this came about- the people that have been introduced on this journey (some good and some not so great.. lol)  have all been for a reason! 
Oh &... When I refer to someone as a 'handsome devil' - lol - it is only an expression I have heard for years and still repeat, simply meaning they are a handsome older man.  

I would like to thank Prohbtd Magazine  For sharing the story and helping to further spread the awareness with education. 

This is the Anniversary date of Cashy Hydes death.  Cannabis is a medicine for children.
Cashy was the best lesson - on love and compassion and  SHOULD be a lesson to ALL on how seriously WRONG cannabis prohibition is  for medical reasons as well as recreational. As long as people can be put in jail for such a victimless crime BY the REAL criminals (those who profit $$$ from it) - it will continue to happen & it is a crime against us all.

I am thankful for sharing my story but would ask you to share Cashy's story with someone today.

-Plants,  safe & poisonous
-Medicine, man made & natural
-Drugs, alcohol, chemical, abuse, recreational.
- long term side effects and consequences... because the facts are out there.
***If the government says kids can need to be educated about sex in grade one - then please EDUCATE them on drugs and making choices that can effect the rest of THEIR lives.
-Judgement, "they don't look sick"  <teach them to avoid saying and why.
​Or staring at someone WHO does look illl - treat them like everyone. Or help them.
-Coloring! It does not matter if you go outside the lines - little things.
-Creativity..  get it out with art rather than aggression.
-Empathy - teach them that it should not matter what anyone uses to make themselves feel better- especially if they are not harming anyone else.
-Thankful.. thankful we are in a Country where we can express ourselves & explore our options! & We have a government that cares about it's people. 
The types of conversations around these bookmarks can be limitless. 
​*I was concerned about any children that might get asked NOT to use them (perhaps by someone at school) well, if thats the case I guess they can contact me and I will share my opinion. ;) Happily.  

I am making my bookmarks today but have a busy day and week ahead.. so they might not get done today.. I will let you know when and will mail out mine with a winner of postcards drawn on FB next week.... (hint, hint)

2.color cut and exact cut.
3 color cut our punch a hold and add some string and a bead for a tiny bookmark - come back to see mine in a day or two! 
Above all eel Have some fun, think happy thoughts and give thanks we have Cannabis in our life! 
I am thankful for it, hourly if not more. 

*Glue coloring sheet  to a thin piece of cardboard (like a cereal box) Recycle!  
Squeeze out access glue with a card - like a debit card - let dry for a day.
Color when dry! & follow other steps!

This is it...
This is the last fucking cartoon I'm drawing about 'what kills kids - compared to cannabis'. 
Everything - everything kills kids more than cannabis - from wild elephants to button batteries to un-attended trampolines. This is it. I will not add to the confusion any longer with cartoons about pencils, peanuts, plastic bags killing more children than cannabis.
Fact: cannabis has never killed anyone - that i am aware- I can't even find a dog who has died from it. If you have facts- enlighten me - send me an e mail.

I am done. Every time I draw about a child who suffers more from inhaling COMMON household chemicals - I'm only adding to the confusion! SO - LET me be CLEAR :
LIES hurt & kill our children.
We should be educating them from an early age on all DRUGS - especially those 
THAT DO KILL.
Lets start with your prescription medications/drugs & alcohol if we want to be factual.
Don't get me wrong - when drinking - add Cannabis - you are being reckless and could get hurt. Everything in moderation, ask yourself 'why do you need to have both?' 
Drink and add a few OXY for fun and you might end up dead.  
The facts are if we continue to lie to our  kids and continue to let our government LIE - WE are killing our children.  
We certainly care about teaching them about oral sex at an early age- not chemicals that will kill them! Not how to make good life choices to keep them on the right path?
or IS it we don't wan to practice what we preach? Be honest with yourself, I don't care. Really.  I am NOT living your life.  I know I don't have any control over what you do or choose. I know where I myself have been and it's no ones business - except your kids.
What are you teaching them every minute of every day - because they NEVER stop learning.

Imagine the little ones forced to have  chemicals over cannabis to 'help' their little bodies.
Or being parent and being forced to go against your best wishes for your child.
Because a bunch of adults continue to lie in order to  make $$$.
Cannabis does not kill, chances it may be used to heal a very sick child you know- now that you are educated on the topic! Please- dont' take my word for it!! 
Research, once you learn you will be amazed.  A rude awakening for many.

I will make more of an effort to try to help educate with love one doodle, drawing & craft at a time.

Its true - you learn something new everyday - without little effort - if you allow.
Sadly, not all of what we learn is good news... during my idea for this cartoon -let's dispel 'once and for all 'cartoon- at least in my mind-  I learned of another button killing kids.
Lithium buttons and it's a terrible way to die.
If not the choking then what the battery can do to a child's inside is horrifying. Watch the simple video that shows us. I did not occur to me.  I Imagine part of the problem is a little one not being able to vocalize they had swallowed a battery.
So much so Health Canada did have a warning about them and possible death, still they are everywhere. Did you know? Please be honest.

I would like to point out and ask all of you to think about:
How much has the Current Canadian government (OR any for that matter) spent on Educating  the public about Lithium batteries and deadly consequences with children ***Especially -compared to what they have in fact spent smearing medical Cannabis?
Hmmmmmm?  If I had to guess I would say TOO MUCH on one and
       NOT enough on the one that matters!
"Worried about the children" ...please, it's just another excuse they use for their own benefit to manipulate us until they can use something for theirs best interest $$$.
If I a wrong this would be the perfect example to prove me wrong.  Go ahead.


When I started to draw about buttons- the kind we wear and are everywhere- I had no idea about batteries, what they did and HOW common it is.
Battery buttons will never be banned or the other kind.  It is ALL about EDUCATION.  
​As with cannabis - as with EVERYTHING.
Spending money and resources on educating our young should be our priority - always. 

I am so TIRED of the bullshit represented by Rona Ambrose and Stephen Harper and the damage they have done to this country- If you are not - you are not paying attention. 
I don't know 'who' will make it better but I am voting for Justin Treadeau.
I AM voting. IF you don't please don't speak to me of such issues.
Bullshit 'voting does not matter'- get out there & make it matter - if you can vote and don't then you are part of the problem.  
There are people around the world that would kill and DO for such an opportunity.

Today - PLEASE, educate ONE person who has little ones on the true dangers of button battery cells!
