All Cannabis any patients have, must be "destroyed in Kitty litter & put out in the trash."
When they recalled OXY and made the new - did Health Canada ask that people put the old in the trash?  I think Not.
As of tomorrow patients (approximately 40,000), some terminally ill, all over Canada turn into Criminals in the eyes of Health Canada and our corrupt Steven Harper. If they continue to grow their own medicine they can be arrested & face jail time.
 Medicine that Health Canada did in fact allow them to grow for decades. Now forced to purchase a less quality (in many cases) medicine, with less control and at an escalated price, forcing many to return to prescribed drugs - simply because they can no longer afford the 'safer' alternative, cannabis.

There is an injunction of course, from the Supreme Court of Canada saying that patients can still grow their medicine until a court rules otherwise, but Health Canada has already expressed intention to which they wish to ignore. Tomorrow is the day. So be it.
No one can and no one will ever, make us feel like criminals.  God has us on this path and I'M NOT BUDGING. Would you? What if it is was your child? 
Tomorrow "let the shit hit the fan", and focus on all that can go right!!!

The only criminals here are those in power, hurting already suffering Canadians for the all mighty dollar. FACT.

If loving you is wrong I don’t want to be right...
I thought of love while working on this one. 

I thought of all the bullshit we are dealing with and how much a plant has come to mean to us.  It changed our lives.  It eases our son’s pain. It eases the suffering and pain of thousands, millions world wide.  It has helped us plant the seed and spread love with drawings worldwide, inspired by it's healing every day.

It helps tame my mind, Physically and mentally.
I love it. I love the sight, smell, taste & of course smoke and peace it provides me.
I love it and the fact that it is female!  LOL 
I get buy with a few of my friends especially my girlfriends! Us ladies must stick together! 

Today, I went to pick up the drawing to present to Jamie on 4/20. 
My long  time girlfriend Kat - LONG TIME. In our early 20’s we even went to Mexico together - tee hee hee  Pre kids, pre hubby! Pre wrinkles, brain surgery and in her case pace maker. ❤

Kat owns and operates her own Gallery and has forever. I helped her open her very first store! She is a hard working woman, I have reminded her over the years of how few people, let alone women - can say they have successfully run their own business for over 25 years!? It is her art, talent, eye for art that has kept her there in my opinion.
Making ART look spectacular is her job.  

For me, she is another level of awesome. I ‘trust’ her with my own work so much, I take it and say:  “Go, have fun and call me when done.”  That is what she does! I am so excited for this show 4/20! *I would like to add at this time, as soon as Kat learned what I was dong for seriously ill children using Cannabis, she offered to frame the them for free!!!  I am very grateful for her donation of time, talent, supplies and TLC. It means the world to me, it also means I get to draw for some great little heros & say thank you to them from ALL of us. I hope to complete one a month. ;)

We are blessed and we know it. Kat has 3 handsome, smart sons of her own.
No matter how many times we  “piss each other off” over the years, Kat and I need to except the fact we will be friends until we are old and grey,  probably hugging each other one day and giving each other a kick in the ass with our canes the next. After all,  I guess that is what true friends are all about.  ;)
I look forward to it.

***One more special lady I’d like to thank this week is LadyBud, an online magazine with the tagline - 'Classin up the joint.'  I LOVE IT! AMEN! I loved it the first time I saw it, I think I e mailed them but it as pre-surgery days and I have given up trying to keep track. 

Cannabis like every other, is very much a male influenced industry. 
With publications like Ladybud -this class act bunch of hard working ladies, putting it together and promoting - well 'when inspired by LOVE we cannot fail!'  Take a look at the page & you can feel the love & more. Very professional. When my friend John asked me for an interview I was thrilled! John, being a  real friend- was like having a conversation with someone I trust. I am blessed to have someone that wants to share my passion as much as I do! The article appeared in LadyBud this week and I was blown away ;)

Good Morning! And  a good one it appears to be so far, thank God.
I have had a terrible past few days, almost as bad as just after surgery. My twitch waking me up at 4 a.m., so powerful it has me crying before I'm out of bed.  And it does not stop. It takes on average 3/5 bong hits JUST to get it under control this past few mornings. JUST to get it to start to give me a break.  
When it is as bad as it is.. I can not walk properly, I can not read, I can not use the computer, I can not function.  The shots of pain I get  instantly stop you in your tracks! Right from the top of my head down now to my chest.  The several days, I've hardly been able to function past 3 in the afternoon. Exhausted, mentally and physically.  What do I worry about - seeing my son and husband watch this. I know it breaks their heart every time.  My days consist of moving from one seat to another - thank GOD, I can draw, or I don't know what I'd do :(  I pray a lot too. 
I have to go and see my Dr. I have decided NOT to renew my license to use cannabis. 

Talk about a week of emotional roller coasters rides! I feel like today I could nap for a month!
Yesterday the court decision was in!  From now until trial outcome, Canadians permitted to grow their own cannabis  themselves or with a  designated grower are permitted to continue! Thank God!  I waited like most others yesterday to hear the ruling expected in the afternoon. I read it, over and over, then I burst into tears. 
Tears of Joy, tears of relief! Then instantly a anger filled me - so angry, that we are even 'here' dealing with this bullshit! 
SO stressed because of Health Canada. Health Canada - here to make us feel better. 
After my outburst, I reminded myself not to get angry but busy... and I wanted to celebrate! Celebrate each small victory!

Celebrate that people see what the government is doing, is WRONG. Cruel and criminal.  
Right now - I just want to smile, thank God, for a while we don't have to worry about Storm and his pain medication. Or me and my head medication, mental and physical. 
I believe this is just the start. There is more good news on the horizon!  
I feel it growing as I type!!!

I'm  terribly excited! 
We are all ready for the daw of drawing fun at Conspiracy Culture!!
The art is up and the day planned! Of course with a little help from a few friends... Linda & Marie, my EXPO ladies have both offered to accompany me!  My friend Patti, my guys and a few others I know for sure are coming and I am thrilled! More so to see everyone! LOL Cabin fever, brain complications, a LONG winter and I am counting the days!  I was stumped trying to think of a toon to promote the day... GEORGIA you have your cartoons @  Conspiracy bookstore! Conspiracy Culture!

Yes, I sat in my chair and drew this cartoon giggling the entire time. I will say that it took quite a bit of time with all the detail  but I cannot think of a better way, to spend a -20 something weather day! I'm also thrilled to say I learned about another little fan named Jamie, who also uses cannabis to help with pain issues. He is 8, and his mom shared he is on Palliative care. Well! How could I not draw for this special little fan! I hope he likes it, and my friend Kat of Kat's Gallery has also offered to donate the framing as a gift to Jamie and his family! 
I'll be there from 12 on chillin! ;) From 2- to 4  I'll be drawing and talking 
*I can do both at the same time most days ! LOL then from 4 to 5 chillin again.

Alcohol for many is not a gateway. They learn to drink in moderation.
For others it does not always lead to other drugs - it can be enough - hence, 
Alcoholics Anonymous. It can create generations of abuse in some families.
It blows my mind Cannabis was ever classified as a far dangerous drug over Alcohol. 
I am familiar with both and alcohol was my gateway drug.

Spring forward! Just the mention os spring  and I'm giddy!  The sun is shining today! I actually was able to walk to the mail box as the side walks are ice free! Whippie!!!! Spring in Canada is there any better MOOD enhancer!! Spring is only a couple of weeks away! 
I have to post this cartoon early as I have friends  over seas that like to share!!

Today I turned 50.  
Amen & Thank you. 
I was up with the sun, coffee and ready to sit at my desk and start the next 1/2 of this century, doing what I love most and and so thankful to do! DRAW!  
Norm wanted to have a party - no, thank you. 
I am much more about quality than quantity !  ;) 
I did ask for one thing, much needed IMO -lol,  a new chair for my drawing desk! 
My last is worn beyond worn, parting with my purple chair is such sweet sorrow, 
but my BUTT is already thanking me ! I've been in my chair on and off today!  
It has been the best day I could ask for - the sun was shining! 
My FB page overwhelming!  Thank you is all I can even think to say,  where to begin - so I will thank the best way I know how with a new cartoon!  
Today I had a visit from a couple of friends, my  wonderful son  had the house vacuumed before 8, this a.m.! I decided to call a couple of special friends - I thought I would like to talk to on my birthday ;)  
50 so far has been perfect. I could not ask for anything more!
I've decided to start wearing pearls! LOL - I have pearls - a wedding gift. 
Perhaps at 50 I can? Storm googled the meaning of pearls this morning and I'm even more convinced at this time in my life it's perfect timing for pearls!
