LOL!
I just said to Storm - laughing & crying:
“I can't believe I’m laughing because I have a tumor!”
Crying, started to laugh -belly laugh till it hurt! WOW! I needed that. lol
THANK YOU to the amazing treatment I had yesterday at South Lake Hospital in Newmarket. Fast, The technician who helped me was beyond terrific, Irman I believe was his name. He was young and handsome & extremely professional. Bonus.

My inner flirt took over (of course) and I asked him if we had time to go out for a joint. Really. He laughed. I felt safe. I joked about taking “the ‘tree and sky’ light covers (really beautiful) idea & replacing my mirrors above my bed with them..” hee hee hee.. it’s not a flirt in this case, it’s nerves.
I said it to the “girl” as she strapped in my head for my MRI., she laughed.
Other than the machine, the constant rumble, the bong, bong, bong, (- lol I just go that!) the wondering…
WONDER NO MORE!

No changes!! Happy Happy, Joy Joy! I have the best Dr. in the world by the way.
Thank you for putting this cartoonist passionate, fuelled, painters, obsessed mind at EASE so quickly. YEEEEEEEeeeeeeeee! Time to Bloom Baby! lol

Just Keep Swimming! Just keep swimming...
It's all we can do Dori!
Just keep swimming. Who better to enjoy some seeweed than Dori - right?
These scans so not do my work justice, the colors are so vibrant... Dori almost swims off the page. She has - she is already on her way to a new home!!
I have a friend, once she saw Dori she had to have her! There are a few Dori fans as I had inquires as to when she was going to be complete. I do not normally sell my art but I had an idea & IT was a fantastic one! I asked if she would be interested in bartering.
I desperately need a new easel- mine wobbles, can’t be adjusted, I’ve had it since high school and it frustrates more than anything- we'll I have a new easel being delivered this week! Eeeeeeeeee!!! I can’t wait.
I’m cleaning my painting room today! Canvas are getting ready.
I could have just asked for payment but this way - I have a gift of an easel from my art & a friend! How cool is that? To create more art with MORE TLC & THC.

Just keep swimming… Speaking of scans.. today I’m off for a MRI with contrast.
To see if things have stayed the same or have grown OR have gotten smaller or disappeared! Right?? Positive thinking!! I’m on the best medicine after all. My friend Steve tells me “I have much work to do..” lol,
I’m not happy, I don’t want to go, my neurologist argued with me.. I don’t see the point, if it’s nothing that can be touched anyhow. Or nothing they can DO and I am still living with what I am. I’m going, I promised I would. This time anyhow.
More on this when I get my results, I’m making cards for a very select FEW. Stay tuned.

I’m also going to see my friend Jodie before my scan so that is always interesting. We’ll most likely talk about everything but (lol) it’s going to be busy today.

Right now.. just keep swimming, just keep swimming.. it’s all we can do.
Swimming into the painting room! Oh, I tell you, when it arrives, I’m locking myself in my room for at least a week! Imagine what will emerge.

I DO! I'm pretty sure I had a Holly Hobbie Doll, didn't we all?

I was reminiscing on PIN, easy to do… Raggedy Ann, Cabbage patch babies (I still have my original), The Sunshine family- now we can simply see toys of our past- get that ‘warm and fuzzy feeling all over again in a few seconds.

I was looking at of all things, the ‘Doll from Trilogy of Terror, remember him?? Frig that thing terrified me. lol
I was thinking of making a clay version for my desk in my office… lol - as long as his necklace does not fall off, Bird should be good.

Well there she was - Holly Hobbie and BAM it hit me as plain as day.. she needs to become ‘Holy iHighBe’ hee hee hee.
It is my tribute art to Holly Hobbie -the Artist - of the same name more so than the doll, her one little image became iconic and loved by many little girls & boys. She also is famous her her children books.

My little rendition of Holly - My little Cannabis girl is also loved by millions around the world- the cannabis part anyhow!

She turned out so adorable, I have her framed and in my bedroom. It makes me smile when I look at her & gives me a flash back of all warm & fuzzy - it’s a win, win.

Happy Sunday!

I had so much fun painting the last mermaid, I wanted to do another! I’m studying the human body, I hope to be painting some life study nudes in the near future.
More serious painting ahead, but my daily sketching continues, why not have a bit of imagined underwater fun.

I’ve have come to realize, I like painting above the water more.. furry creatures are calling.

Big Buds!

I like Big Buds & I cannot lie!
Who doesn't?
Sure all bud is good bud- but to see the beauty in an actual BIG bud...
WOW!
Although dry, the tiny crystals still catch my eye.
Time to break up this big bud & put it in my big bong & have a BIG toke to get his BIG day started. Just like some take pills and wait for them to "kick in", I have a puff & wait a FEW seconds then I'm ready to stretch, feed the Blue jays, dogs and get some chores done!

Norway officially switches to DABS!

Taking a break from my desk I visited Storm in his apt. & I asked Storm: "did you hear Norway is shutting off FM radio, don't you think that's strange?
Yes, he did think it strange - enough to peek his curiosity as I sat there… the first thing he read off the computer was “Norway is the first country to officially switch to DABs” We both burst out laughing.
It’s as if I can’t get a break, how easy was that?

It is heart breaking to see all the photos of Franco on Instagram, I know I blogged about him long ago- I was impressed at what a hard worker he was, helping his team set up the displays. Talked to thousands of FANS always with a smile. I think he was only 47, he is already terribly missed. Reading his partner & best friends post brought me to tears. It really has ‘me feeling a bit morose & I’m trying hard to move away from it. #FUCKMalaria
Up earlier and painting more, which does not say much for the bags under my eyes.. I need some R&R & sunshine.
I did produce this grumpy looking kitty to go along with my mood yesterday morning.
Snow Storms are not on my ‘gratitude list’ this year.

Now, it’s time to focus on the moon & stars.

Swimming rockstar! What a set of lungs he must have!!
Remember all the flack Michael Phelps received about his infamous ‘Bong smoking photo’. What do you say about it now?
He is a swimming superstar and gold medal winner.

How do Mermaids party?

It's Monday and I have a desk with drawings waiting to be completed! Bring it on! Several new ‘Bud’s’, a few single panel cartoons and a couple of strips!

I warmed up with this little Mermaid today, thought I'd have a giggle to start the week & I will be giving her away to someone on Instagram by the end of the day. To whom I’m not sure.. I think someone who ‘comments’ - at least that way I know she will be going to a home that already appreciates her!

Apparently, I need to work on 'my boobs'... she is not fake! lol
I'm taking some life drawing lessons (on line, of course) it's interesting, not like the real thing- but it will do. I'm rusty. I’ve been admiring my boy Boulets life drawings, check him out on IG if you have not done so yet. Our e mail this a.m., was about someone saying “the journey is 1/2 the fun..” then we both wanted to know what fucking liar came up with that quote.. lol

I can draw a bear & fox completely from imagination - but it's been a while since I've looked at boobs other than my own... and no - they won't do for my mermaids. lol So, I’m on PIN started a ‘Human’ board- because I couldn't remember the words “Life Drawing” lol..

I will practice & I will get better.
