How true...   

I put abundant amounts of love into these bears - I feel it radiating still from my pores today! I left the stars until this morning..  I wanted to wake up and continue the love I felt & carry it over.  It has.  

It might not appear but this was a couple of days of painting.  
6 layers at times.
I have to wait in between layers while  the paint dries. Gouache dries different then when applied.  It's a tricky  technique, instructing me in patience as I persevere.  
Painting on black board also is a bit tricky, numerous  times I think back to my classical animation training- thinking backwards- black first.. patience with cell painting, training for today. 

Love in every stroke.. It occurred to me
'I wonder how many strokes are in these paintings?
​lol     Too many to count.  Perfect.

As you can see 'He is a little grey- so the cannabis helps his old bear bones.

The universe brings people together everyday and the internet has made it all that easier.
I am grateful, in a short amount of time I made a friend  'Justin'.  Anyone who knows me knows - I am persistent,  when I get a  good vibe about a person-  I want to know more.
I want to surround myself with good vibes in life an on line - why not.
Those who make me smile and feel 'lifted'.  
Today, Storm and I were treated to a tour around a huge nursery - Humber Valley  Nursery in  Toronto by our new friend Justin.  How wonderful it was!  

Medicine for the mind, eyes & soul right here. Justin has worked with plats forever and you know it, Storm and I have talked all afternoon about things Justin said... little tips, information, fun facts - it was endless - I wished it had been.  
Already looking at the photos I wish I was back at the garden - it's o.k. we brought some home with  us!  Justin also sent me home with a 'Teasing Georgia rose Shrub!'
 Hee hee hee.   I'm so excited to watch it bloom & we each came home with a little cactus section- we were looking for some time- and to hang out in the 'tropical room'- GO! 
I wished I was closer I would bring my water colors! Orange, banana and lemon trees! Nut trees, herbs, grasses- pond stuff- I could wander in there for hours. The feel the smell, colors- energy - plants. medicine, life, inspiration. For the next few days Im painting cacti! I already have one in mind 'with bird.  I know why Justin is such a pleasant person, working with plants his entire life  has rubbed off on him. ;)  

I knew Justin was a fan of my art work and I see he has  his friendly feline posted on Instagram  so I decided very last minute to paint him a gift to bring to say thank you for the tour - I am so glad I did!
As with all work I put much TLC with THC into all I paint.  
I just knew Justin was going to be a really interesting, nice,  person.
How terrific when we get that vibe. I am thankful. I needed it today.
The plants. Spending the day with Storm walking around- surrounded by gifts of life- nature- plants and Justin. Today was a great day.
Poppy enjoyed herself as well, you know I forget about her- unless she stands on my leg to remind 'I'm here.'  Thankful.

I have a new rule if you've  been reading - lol - If you visit you paint! Or craft.  Create! 
Honestly this is for me too.  I feel I'm here to teach others to have fun with art. Let go and have fun. Pallets are fun and easy. 
When my best bud Cathy called and asked 'could I paint a bear sign',  how could I resist.   
I met Cathy years ago and know I've blogged about her before.  As usual,  just her presence and genuine love for me puts me at ease, luckily she visits about once a week  -lol! Cathy helps me talk through stuff.   I swear, she has saved Norman from divorce court a few times over the years - lol, she can calm.  She loves 'people' & it shows  & Yes, I am thrilled one of those people is ME!  
We use each other lol -  she brings cherries and bakes pies, I paint a hat!
I cant even begin tell you the countless ways Cathy is a friend. She  hugs amazing too. 
Get it? lol  
O.k. so... LOVE PIN and I see these awesome curtains! Cathy crocheted them for me! 
I have them in my office/drawing room and they brighten my day! I know they'll make the winter a little easier to bear! lol  This week she came and we made bear signs, and today- she just left! LOL We painted Will Sing For Food! 
She called this a.m., I had just gotten off the computer - after yet another morning of FaceBook frustration- she said "can I visit?"
I said PLEASE! Do! 
Signs painted ;) Frustration gone, chat and hang out with Cathy was all I needed. 
Thank God for friends. Old friends new friends but mostly... NOW friends.

If you read this blog and follow Fb, thank you -  I posted this a.m. and in seconds had a reply, I did not expect - it caught me off guard.  It's nice to be reminded we are appreciated.
I apologize for my  'give up melt' down. It's over & because of you, and the comments -  I feel a little bit stronger - so I guess: Thanks FB - lol!  
You made me feel frustrated but my 'friends' made me feel better.
Real ones and  internet ones alike.

* all kidding aside... if  social media is stressing you out turn off.
I will be taking a few days to do just that...  which only means more painting will be completed. Any posts you see on Fb will be made from  here.

Georgia… on my mind:
Turn off your T.v..  We watch perhaps one movie a night  many nights not even that (usually as a family & we vote on it) lol. Not other time is the T.V. even on. We DO NOT have cable - not for years! & LOVE it. We do stuff, we paint, read! Garden! build! create! Turn off your T.V. for 3 days. and see what happens. if you have little ones - UNPLUG it and tell them it broke! ;) Let them get creative. I doubt it’s that simple now with all the electronic gadgets and phones.

punishment for the color of ones skin is the biggest sin on this planet.
If you ‘say’ you believe in God, Jesus -  but have hatred in your heart simply because of the color of someones skin..   I don’t know.  
I don’t know what to say to anyone who thinks like this. 
I don’t want to judge. lol   
Do you think it was suicide?
It could be anyone - anyone that has attitude would have gotten treatment like that from that officer. Beyond unprofessional.  Terrible behaviour and it started with him telling her to put out her cigarette. That was attitude.
I do think police cameras should be mandatory and NOT touchable in anyway, for any reason.

Painting! Yesterday, during a heated conversation wit my son, not even sure what it was about - in my frustration I picked up a sharpie and decided to draw details on my canvas! 
I loved the results!  My mind is on a journey of it’s own when I paint. It is when Im most at peace, I don’t think about much  except at the task at hand. Thank God. Really. 

Have Faith! I do - 2 guys pulled a shark out of the water and removed hooks and put it back.
