An editorial. I've not been doing many... why- because they make me angry.
Celebrate woman's day?  I couldn't.
WTF do we (women) have to celebrate when bullshit like this is permitted to happen!?? OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

We should've celebrated it by throwing Al Rawi in jail.  He was literally caught with his pants down by police. A young woman passed out drunk in the back seat, he also had her underwear, she was raped. A Halifax a judge ruled he's not guilty... so I guess I shouldn't draw this- F*CK THAT!!  Today, I read he's been investigated before under a different name & if I had to GUESS -I'd  bet it's not the only victims.  Drunk, ashamed - not wanting to report this low life scum.  Raped-for getting drunk?  
That appears to be the only 'Crime'. For having a few too many.  
This could be your sister, mom, wife, daughter, grand daughter, all she wanted was a SAFE RIDE home. Which they PAID for, BIG TIME!!  
Partying, bars, drinking- ALL NORMAL stuff  MILLIONS do- thank GOD I did not get this parasite or someone like him to safely take me home in one of the many taxi rides I took.

Hailing a cab - drunk' is NOT an invite for SEX from a TAXI driver. 
One bad apple don't spoil the whole bunch- I say it- in this case too bad, I want every young woman- any woman to try to end this now. SUSPECT every taxi driver- if that is what it takes to be safe.  

Do you really think this problem only happens in Halifax? I highly doubt it.

What can we as women do?  Tell me, I'll share!
How about as friends- take a photo of the taxi driver when your drunk friend gets in the cab and tell them, 'you know how long it takes for them' to get home and will be checking with their roommate - EVEN if this is not true- you have planted the seed. 

Ladies- take a photo of him yourself before you get into the cab and SEND it to a friend.
Set this up before hand so perhaps get a system can get in place.  
'No judgement 'call a cab' agreement.  ;)

Georgia ... On my Mind.        Thief.
Every now and then I see 'my art' on someone else's social media page with no credit to me. Taking compliments for my work- instead of redirecting people- "Check out Georgiatoons @ whatever..."  I have even seen people go so far as remove my name and enter in their own.
I very recently, saw one of my ideas almost re-drawn detail for detail  with a  few minor changes, the 'artist' took no credit (I guess not)- but 'the company' did for it's 'originality'.
At first I was in shock... slowly I felt a 'smile materialize across my face- like the Grinch,  a  pathetic attempt to steal my idea - without the talent - please.
I am owning it.  I DID create it. 
Did it get more 'likes' than mine? Yes. lol -  more people.  That's how it works. 
It won't make me give up.
All it does is show me who is paying attention & trying to make attempts at being - ME.
Am I wrong?  I am the only 'Georgia Toons.

Talent. Yes. I work hard. I paint EVERY day, all day-  It is a skill like any other.  
Go ahead, try. You can't steal my creativity or talent.

That is how it will always be.

Lies.. please, tell me no lies.  Even little ones.
We  all have lies which surround us, read the paper.  I have reached a new pinnacle in my life and it has me wanting to SOAR every time I feel it surge through me.  
Bullshit - you have met your match.
I simply am going to 'call people' on it. From now on...  lol  Tell me the truth.  
I recently did just that, after decades of confusion - I picked up the phone. The caller knew instantly  'who' I was, which was reassuring.. I asked a few questions and came away no longer confused, clearer than ever before as a matter of FACT.  Problem solved! Forever!  & now I can lay that one to rest.  Understanding more, forgiving more and forgetting finally.
It feels fucking fantastic & gave me a new found sense of strength & power & a great conversation with a "you can call me anytime - which was really nice."      I'll move on. 

Then there are 'little lies'.. kinda fun at times- but then too, with my imagination- they can escalate into 'a frenzy' sometimes good and sometimes bad.  So please, don't.  
Know I'll check - from now on - I'll ask- whom ever I think might know the answer. Simple.
Wow.  Just ask.  As soon as possible - so you do not over think/stress.
When someone is in front of you - you can tell sometimes if they are just being cheeky- 'pulling my leg'- that's different from lying- or is it? I ask: are you pulling my leg?   
Ivan pulls my leg from time to time.. my pal Jim is also good at it. 
With e mail- it's not so easy to tell.  No wonder Pinocchio comes to mind!

I just needed to paint! TRUMP has me stumped.  I respect Americans have anew president - but I don't like him..  most women don't.  HE has triggered something - I'll be the first to admit- I have fucking had it with 'men like him' making remarks like they do & I personally have been forced to deal with them MY ENTIRE LIFE. No more.  
We had one such fucking remark not long ago:
We had to renew our personal insurance, Norm & Storm met with the "broker" at a coffee shop a few months back. He wanted to come to our home- but Norm explained I was not well and we don't have people over. When 'he' met them one of his first remarks was:
   "Going to renew the policy Norm? More money for Hookers and cocaine.."
Storm was shocked- he told me first - then Norm confirmed. Storm was disgusted.  Storm rarely says anything negative about anyone, not this time & he said he was 'like that' the entire meeting and told his dad to 'drop that asshole'.  He knew I was at home ill, Norms wife, Storms mom and he says this shit?? I was LIVID.. but I was sick.. it's been months.

Friday, I called head office... I explained (very calmly- thank God - it's been a few months) what happened and "IF they do not get our policy off that pigs hands I will call the papers." 
I won't name him, the company formerly Penncorp Canada has recently changed names,  HE KNOWS -  he called after their visit- and I answered the phone- he knew and I knew instantly- I could hear it in his demeanor  - I confronted him,  he admitted the remark
 his response: "oh .. I was just joking"                 FUCK that.  
Every time we allow these 'Jokes' to go on-  YOU know they will- it disrespects women- Mothers, wives, sisters & daughters. THE OTHER half of the population.. Norm is in the dog house - I told him to change it after the incident and just found out last week - we are still paying this disrespectful asshole MONEY.  No more.  
The company has assure me they will handle the problem & the policy will be turned over  to a more professional, respectful broker.  I will hear back this week.
'Just joking..'  fine.
I'm not joking & I'm NOT giving you a cent/nickel  ;)  more.   There you go.
That is how to do it.   Pay attention and do it with your dollar. 

I'm back painting Pinicchio today- and guess what- I also painted a MINI study.. I think I'll give one away.   He makes me smile. Not nearly finished.. a bird haven I think I need to add 'several' more... we'll see.

Winter is coming & inspiration has me painting purple Octopus plucking petals. 
This 'doing what ever' it takes is working.  I meditate, listen to music & paint.
I also eat better, refrain from alcohol & only smoke cannabis.
I have made attempts in my immediate surroundings  to be 'love' inspired
(Purple elephants), cleaning my office and painting  every day, all day... it's my thing.  It's what makes me want to sing- Surrounding myself with positive friends here and there... near & far & I am smiling more.  I won't add 'twitching less' but it seems to be less - painful. lol  Truly,  I don't know how else to put it.  That & cannabis keeps me smiling- Thank God! It's working.  

Here is what I am noticing: new cannabis cartoons and ideas again starting to fill the air in my mind & office.  I can't put it into words- as it would give away the cartoon on my desk for tomorrow.  It's for all the dispensaries who have been shut down - in "our best interest." Bullshit. 

An animal drawing recently was "liked" - I don't normal check them out as I don't have time- and don't want to start which would = less drawing, -  sure enough late last night, in bed I check out a cartoon and one of my 'likes' is from this 'beautiful, huntress'.  
She 'likes' this image about saving our wildlife - as she sits with a fucking bear she killed while she visited Canada and  "can't wait to get back."  wow. 
I was so pissed off last night all I could see was a beautiful, selfish MURDERER.  
Today, I woke up.. new day - she is still these things in my opinion. We are losing animals at an alarming rate on this planet 2/3 of wildlife will disappear by 2020 - so thank you beautiful, spoiled rotten,  murderer for helping this along faster.
WHY!? Because you eat it all - bullshit.  
You need it to survive?  To keep you warm? You LOVE animals? 
Yes, like an alcoholic husband beats the wife 'he loves'.  
I no longer see 'beauty' anymore.  
I see a beautiful 'shell', and I feel nothing but pity for this 'pretty', young, life snuffing princess.. she has many years ahead- to think about her own actions.  
Check out this specimen of a human- HUNTING?!! They bait the bear with food/he comes here to eat obviously, hide (like the cowards they are) - and use a spear -  torture- phhhhbt.  He is a poor example of a good 'man' in my opinion. I am so happy they dumped them & more will continue to do so. 
Surrounded by love? I think these hunters will only attract so much hatred into their lives from so many,  who might attempt to harm/hunt them- which I'm reading about. 
Just like I want to harm a stranger who I see torturing a dog in a dog eating festival in China.  I do.   Can we not 'BAN' these hunters from other countries?

Tell me the world is NOT watching this.  I can't believe what I am seeing with the North Dakota pipeline Violence.  History repeating itself... the ones with the bigger guns wins.
Or bullies moving in and taking whatever the fuck they want.

I don't understand why all AMERICANS, not just Indians are not ALL Standing with Standing Rock!?  Look at the devastation already with PIPELINE leaks all over the world already destroying  our water, wildlife and US!  Wake the fuck up. 

They are fighting for ALL of our clean drinking water.  Pipeline accidents happen and the results devastating,  the damage in most to all cases can never be properly cleaned/contained.  But this is not just the blockade.. it's the violence on peaceful protestors.  Rubber bullets -  God forgive them.  I had no idea the damage they did, so they don't kill- big deal! IT IS inhumane  treatment of others!  This pepper spray shit, Jeeze I can't help but want to see those spraying - sprayed...  and this is what happens.. anger is fuelled by both sides. In my case Anger against the American government who would let this happen. 
If you research treatment of American Indians in History- we don't need to - is anyone still oblivious to this past disgrace? Here it is repeating itself LIVE for the world to watch this time, and it does not look good America on you. It happens all the time, Native Americans in America are incarcerated/shot   on average more than most.. after the well known statistics of African American Abuse, that is.
This time the world IS watching.  
Yesterday ironically, as I painted I watched a documentary : Before the Flood
It was not pleasant.. it was the truth and very crucial RIGHT NOW!  Please watch and then lets see how you feel about this profit only pipeline!  I understand people are upset regarding work- it only brings them a couple of months work at best- (which I understand many people survive on ) but it will destroy the land they live on for the future generations to come - we have other resources that need to be focused on- EVEN I understand this!

My good friend Todd Stimson (still incarcerated in  the USA for cannabis- legal lies)  is married to Kerry. This tiny little shell of a woman- right!  Kick ass Kerry - she is strong, determined and a down to earth woman effected more than most on this F&^%ing  lie of a War of Drugs - WAR on Us.  I saw her comment online one day..  "Sweep off your own porch before you come inspecting mine!" It stuck with me.  
I was not sweepingly own porch.  I am learning - everyday I breath - thank God.
So, here I am drawing how bad African Americans have it across the border (and they do!) but then I started to hear we were worse!  Gasp? How is that?
We treat and have treated our Aboriginal people like they are nothing. 
How ashamed I feel - ashamed: I had no clue.
Was I aware before 'The Hip mention', yes.. look into Human trafficking.

Who does not know about missing aboriginal women, to think of it is heart wrenching, so it's time to draw about it.  I don't know how.. how so it will bring justice to artwork & individuals.. for the lives of so many lovely, lost souls.. being born into generations of abuse- abuse of alcohol, abuse of the system- supposedly in place to protect them- to protect ALL Canadians, abuse by more than I can even imagine to know about.

This year I did not intentionally  celebrate 'happy international women's day'.  I am happy to be a women but not  thrilled about a lot of whats going on.. STILL.
All above is true, I started with the HOMEMAKER who does it all, raises kids, cleans, cooks, gardens, shops, looks after pets (in most cases) etc.. and gets nothing, not even a thank you from society let alone most husbands. Many women do this as well as hold down jobs.
There is still a misconception that men come home and can rest up, put your dirty shoes up and take a fucken break. When does a 'housewifes' day end?

Storm was into Pokemon- I am thrilled he is not little now.. even pedophiles are playing Pokemon GO, you know it.  Groping all the wile pretending to look for a Giratina.

Look both ways before crossing- one of the first lessons we teach them as parents - suddenly is gone.  

Pokemon is more dangerous than Cannabis.  Already more kids have been killed - a young woman in Australia- not looking - hit and run dragged her  such a terrible distance ;(

Who is not in agreement?
What ever you do - 'IF' it impaired your ability to drive , DON'T DO IT. Simple.  
There are many  things that will and can impair your ability.  
I had a  'fender bender' - crashed into Norm - LOL!  He was in front of me and I looked down at the radio- had to find that perfect song for the long drive up North.. SMACK.
Luckily, no one was hurt- except my pride - hitting my own husband - I never will live it down.  Should all radios be removed from automobiles?
Do you know how many drivers get into accidents because they are eating?  
Should we close all drive through windows that offer take out?
The worst culprit for IMPAIRED driving is Alcohol.  It truly 'impairs your' ability IMO.
Cannabis will never surpass this IMO- most people I know who use cannabis - like to CHILL  or relax, unwind - not go for a drive.  Alcohol charges for impaired driving increase every year, as does alcohol abuse.
PUT me behind the wheel with anyone who  consumed a joint over a drink any day.
I KNOW the difference.  Shall we close all bars? BBQs and restaurants that serve alcohol? 

Lets not forget HOW many MILLIONS are currently IMPAIRED driving with pills in their system- Not just opiates, many medicines tell you: DO NOT OPERATE HEAVY MACHINERY while using this medication -  the average car weights:

So, while the press will soon have you terrified about all the POTential dangerous of cannabis patients on the road- do not fool yourself - because it could save your life., being educated on the subject.

DO not USE anything that could impair your ability to drive, stupid.

FIRST hand, yes, I guess because people know what I do. bring it on. BUT they are still confused - how, where and what.  They need compassion clubs.

If not for a compassion club all those years ago-  what a night mare this would've been- never mind living in fear from S.H., Rona.Ambrose. and - I forget the name of the other woman  already..  good. Constant threats about our sons medicine.  It is not politically correct behaviour" .  Why portray some Torontonians/Canadians  as criminals because we have made a different MEDICAL choice?  A LEGAL medicine in Canada I might add.. Do what you need to do BUT do not take away the small independent business that MAKE this country & HELP.  Not just a few-  he works for ALL Toronto.  Healthy and Sick.

I am understanding that these people all work for someone- so it appears... but it is Mr. Torey  who is "representing' - so that is who is addressed.  I wish he would just stop.  
Canada has  so much going on.. kids being used and abused every day.. so Please do not use 'Oh the children' - it can't be too close to schools' .  * I AGREE, just like I don't think a school should be beside the L.C.B.O. OR any BAR with an outdoor patio - which would do way more harm than any dispensary.   Don't believe me - research the studies with children who are abused and beaten by alcoholic parents compared to ONLY cannabis using parents.  I dare you and then come back and tell about it.

Im feeling angry, yes probably about Jim, how fucking unfair this life can seem some days,
good people go and 'scum' remain to torment and torture. Last night we watched netflix- a crime FBI show..  more or less to pass a bit of time as we unwind, usually the 3 of us watch TV together - since we do so little - and we vote, we all must agree or we do not watch.  I will say I've gone 'off' of horror and violent movies and  Norm and Storm are going along with, thank God.  During the episode the police officer said over 600 women are dumped along the highway every year in Texas alone. WTF?  Can this be true?? So I did a tiny bit of research .. it's true and worse.  It's terrible. 

I'm suffering from PTSD (thank God for Cannabis) - First I'd would like the opportunity for a class acton law suit against Stephen Harper next  I wish women everywhere would start a class action lawsuits against the judges that let  ANY violent attacker against women OFF & then  'JUDGES' the women- how they dress, text messages, - WERE they there? DOES any  old man understand texting? Pressure and  being  woman.   Being a woman is not easy.
Do you know out of EVERY 100 attacks only 6  'SIX' are reported.
​Why - because women once attacked are never the same. FEAR has enterer their life forever.  I was 'date raped' with a drink - I knew the person - we worked at a car dealership together, he convinced me to have a drink with him  - 'put our differences aside', I was NOT fond of him to say the least - he was everything I did not like in a man, winey, huge ego, pretty boy, mindless jock - I woke up in his bed the next day and remembered NOTHING after I had that fucking drink. ONE DRINK.   I woke up and answered 'his phone' a couple of times - thinking the caller had the wrong number.. because I THOUGHT I was at home in my own bed alone- very hung over. When  I rolled over and saw him I was sick to my stomach.  I was NOT a slut, I was out to have a nice evening. I was  abused by a cock who lost control and a SNEAKY one at that. 
I've blogged about it before. I met him years later! - I had Storming his carriage- do you know what he said to me: "Hey, I still have one of your earrings!!".  
Years later & the disgust returned, the GUT feeling that told me he was  a SHIT person and I was right. How many more women did he do that to?  MamaBear kicked in and I told him - 'keep it - I certainly don't need the reminder of the biggest mistake of my life"  and walked away. I never called him on it. I should look him up today and fucking say 'hello' - I'm not who I was thats for sure. It' in the past.  He can no longer hurt me, I understand what HE did...
HE lost control.  
HE is the one with the problem.  He is the bad example of a human being.
He needed to control his cock. 

If a cock was in the city and it lost control and did what ever it wanted. It would quickly become soup. A bird. YET we have  humans that have such little respect for others- they drug, beat, rape and abuse and kill women as if they were no more than an object to use and discard. It must stop.
That was just one  attack in my lifetime - I had another , and many tiny ones, comments, remarks from former bosses- it was NEVER ending... because I was born with boobs.

A little lighter topic tomorrow - Gifts!  Gifts of love and art and more..

Yesterday was 4/20 a day to 'celebrate cannabis', now recognized around the world.  I did not do anything 'too special' yesterday- what I did do is enjoy the day, shopping and touring around Aurora with Poppy & my mom, looking for some garden inspiration & something for my mom's B-day - BUT, I was able to do this because of CANNABIS.  Medicating in-between stops, we enjoyed the day.  I was originally  booked to meet with the brain surgeon again, I have as you know decided against this. Id be lying if I said - it did play on my mind a bit yesterday- have I made right choice? I feel I have.

Dear Colorado,
You don’t know me.  You wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between me and a whole lot of other people.  I’m 38, central/eastern European ethnicity, average height, from a big Midwestern city.  I have a pretty interesting job.   I’m a runner, but not a particularly fast one and not of enormous distances.  I am not unattractive, but I am not a supermodel.   My eyes are a bit of an unusual color.  Overall, I’m really pretty normal.  If you met me at a party, you’d tell your wife that I was friendly and maybe kind of entertaining.  (I think you are a straight dude, Colorado.  I think you’ve got a wife.)
However.
I’ve struggled hard with my mental health for my entire life.  I’ve been in and out of therapy--mostly in--for twenty-one years.  I’ve seen at least seventeen different therapists and doctors.  I’ve taken nine different kinds of mainstream psych meds and I’ve been incorrectly diagnosed five separate times.  A few years ago, I had the breakdown that had been coming, and finally got the correct diagnosis.  PTSD.  I worked and worked and worked to get better and I got to…functional and maybe even mostly OK.  And I thought that mostly OK, most of the time, was as good as I was going to get.
Here is where you enter the picture, Colorado.   Important piece of backstory:  I had never smoked weed ever.  Ever.  Not once.  Not interested.  I am not a criminal.  Smoking is gross.  Etc.  Etc.  But I was going to be on vacation, and when in Rome, you know, so I decided to be a little brave. 

My best friend and I nervously bought some 10mg chocolate bars from Canary’s Song in beautiful Nederland.  After about an hour, I felt...fine.  She got giggly and hilarious, but I was…fine.  Day wrapped up with me sleeping through the night (a rarity—sleep disturbances are a hallmark of PTSD).  The next morning, I woke up, anticipating a galactic hangover, and I felt...good.  Then I ran eight miles in the hotel gym. 
I texted my surprised reaction to my pleasant experience to a friend and got back:  “Do we have a fledgling stoner on our hands?”  I thought, “Of course not.  What a ridiculous idea.”
I announced that I was glad I tried it, and figured that was the end of that.  

My travel companions, however, had other ideas.  After my husband brazenly carried a bag of candy through security at Denver International  (thanks for looking the other way on that one, btw), I was home to start conducting a scientific study on myself.  Turns out, I was NOT worse on weed.  Turns out I was better.  I was a lot better.  

Except.

I was the one person who had swallowed every bit of misleading, politically driven racist bullshit about gateway drugs, about stoners being directionless losers, about how it was going to kill my ambition.  The one kid who believed Nancy Reagan, was, apparently, me.  For months, every time I did something flaky or forgot something, I would freak.  My husband started regularly reminding me that I’ve done flaky shit my whole life.  I kept waiting to wake up in the morning, unable to do anything except dunk Cheetoes in CoolWhip and listen to Phish.
You’ll think this is funny, Colorado, as you used to be the residence of the late Dr Thompson, but I seriously thought that smoking weed was going to send me on some sort of strange path careening into unemployment and God knows what else.
Except, what happened was the more cannabis I consumed, the more things continued to not get worse.  
I discovered I could sit still longer at my desk every day at work.  I started regularly sleeping through the night.  I went to the doctor and dealt with a persistent running injury with the physical therapist.  I noticed that my caffeine consumption went down.  My business revenue went up.  I tackled some more issues with my PTSD.  My husband and I worked out some longstanding problems.   I lost 20 pounds.  I quit drinking.
And I realized that I had to overcome a massive case of culturally conditioned stoner shaming.  And I looked at you, Colorado, and I saw a bunch of people who were out hiking your mountains and biking your trails.   And I talked to people in the cannabis community and found out that everyone to be friendly, welcoming, and not judgmental.  And realized that I’m the healthiest I’ve been, ever, even if I do own a lighter for the first time in my entire life.   
So, Colorado, I guess what I’m trying to say is, you changed my life for the better.  And, in doing that, you changed a lot of lives around me for the better, too.  You can’t even calculate how far this ripple effect could go.   And I’m just one person. 
Millions of people visit you every year.  My story is repeating every day.
Keep up the great work.  The world is watching.

Drugs I know of that did fry brains, legally administered were once created in a pharmaceutical​ lab.
So when I see that these drugs are being approved for women 'to enhance the mood' -
 do NOT tell me you won't have partners making the suggestions.
NOT the person actually putting the drug into their body.

I have had many friends confide & including myself over the decades, that have NOT been 'in  the mood' and it had little to do with sex at all & but more to to with the person involved.   Miracles happened over night when affairs were introduced - or marriages/relationships ended and new partners were involved.

We have all witnessed this,  some might be living it now. 

Now more and more people are struggling to make ends meet, moms work and then come home - and still work more (hopefully with some  quality time for the family and mom when all is said and done.  The majority does not go home at 5 and put their feet up and relax.- till a luxurious bubble bath, foot massage and bed. 

Being 'NOT in the mood' -IS, I agree,becoming a problem!  
Who is in the mood when  exhausted?  
Please don't think I am saying all men sit at home on the sofa and do nothing, because of this cartoon but reality is most women still work harder, for less.
ALL around the world.
Sex is not the top of womens priorities. reading, education, skills  -they are, just like everyone else.  Raising stronger daughters is. 
WHAT this cartoon is about is putting a drug into your body that can alter your mind.
And we tell our kids not to do drugs - lol  Oh my Gosh! Will the side effects outweigh the orgasms? Probably! lol  If we are being 100 % honest they WILL!

ANYONE who tells you the FDA is never going to approve a drug that won't kill again  is insane. That is an impossible statement to make.  How can they?
Can you tell me the average time a new drug is tested before it hits the market?
Can you tell me  if they have altered drugs designed for the average man dn the average woman separately and then taken our age differences for account? For example?
These are ALL very important factors when taking any medication that can possibly kill you.
Ones NOT yet defined clearly... all I am asking is that you ASK. 
If not your Doctor, ask yourself!  What/who is really the problem  - ASK yourself
would I get excited with someone else?  If so use your imagination before you take pills. 
DO we need to work on other areas of our relationship, more important than sex?  
I hear all the men gasping - No! ... lol 

YES... and what can I do about it before I permanently alter my mind. 
Talk.  For women that are struggling and very happily married to their partner - once you have explored all other avenues TOGETHER - then decide. 
Never forget it is one body, one mind being effected.

Still reading my bird book, well the libraries: Silence of the Songbird, I had to renew it! Poppy comes with me next visit! More on that later.
I found this terrific article by Wayne Grady, I am having difficulty with long articles, believe it or not.  My *episodes can make everything  difficult on bad days - I have to re-read, re-write and still simple simple stuff appears wrong once published.  When I can I will include others articles. They put it better with words than I do.
This cartoon specifically focuses on Deforestation  & it is prevalent everywhere.  Poor birds.
What an education I just had on coffee shade trees,  it really is an interesting read. 
Inspiring too, as you can tell. 

Its another cool great day.. fall is on the way. You can't help but LOVE fall in Canada,  I'm sad to think summer is nearly gone. I think our grackles have already left & last night at dusk, I heard it - the Canadian Geese Good bye!

Don't get me wrong - but let's OPEN our eyes!  We need to focus on other things than our libido for a change.  Or we won't have one.. our kids are already not being able to re-produce babies, boys  NOW are being born sterile - it is being blames on CHEMICALS  in the water, in our systems being passed down.  What do you think happens when you pee? 
I've discussed this before? I have learned it all new myself... if you lived what I live with; trust me you would  wonder - WTF.   
When our grandkids grow up they will look on our generation with disgust  when they have no  birds, forest and all we focused on now is the f*cking Kardashians. Literally. 
Please think about what you are putting into your body.

It's a new day.. I need it.
What a blessing  - each new day a new start. 
Today like every day I start with asking: 'o.k. what do you want to teach me today?'
I should not have asked. lol 
I see how 'Jared of Subway Fame - you know the guy who lost all the weight - eating subs..
 is now going to jail for being a PEDOPHILE - and guess what - he might only get what Todd got- for growing plants. Ruin a mind of a child for life and get a couple of years. Grow plants to help ease minds.. get several years and some serve a LIFE sentence! 

Then I watch how the FDA approved a new  drug for women and could be coming to Canada near you! It does not mess with the body - like a man  viagra- it messes with your mind instead.  Watch the interview... I am so glad 'his rats are frisky', go to his professional page and see he is paid  by these companies.  ?  Come to your own conclusions.
He actually says 'it puts the brakes on part of your brain',  and it STILL really depends on the person. How many women will suffer from side effects- God forbid they don't happen as you sleep like they recommend you take the medication... & you have to take it for months in advance. $$$ long term customers.. Is it addictive?  
       "The FDA loves the idea of a sexual satisfying encounter"  This made me LOL when he said it. WTF!? Isn't that special. Perhaps the FDA should fucking focus on our health. FOOD & Drugs and not our sexual encounters,  he states "interestingly they all come through his lab".  ?
Yes, that's of interest.  It should be, shouldn't it?
A conflict of interest- we hear/read about it all the time now. 
Am I making this stuff up? 

The FDA still passes pills that they know kill. We read about it every day and many we don't dread about.
For those small percentage that  might have an adverse reaction - oh well, too bad, so sad.

You decide.. Norm and I we know how to  romance each other - Not with pills.
When we do struggle - we still don't think it's worth the side effects- all relationships struggle.  The choice is yours but hopefully YOU will READ the WARNING labels.

Would Jesus send people to jail over a plant that is proving to save lives?
For a plant his Father put on this planet For all of us genesis 1:11?

Would Jesus be happy, normal hardworking, everyday people are losing their  jobs, home, families and still in some parts of the world - lose lives?!!  
No.  
If EVERYONE worked together to educate… 
HOW would it be o.k. to kill people over cannabis?  - it would not. 
It is NOT.  
Changes would have to be made and they are but not fast enough!

This is based on  moral judgements of whom?   
These laws? Who are they helping?
Who is anyone hurting when they use any drugs - only themselves ;(
Even - ESPECIALLY, alcohol. What a destroyer of families and lives.

The only ones that should be in jail are people that seriously hurt others.

On Facebook? Go read what my friend Kerry Posts about her husband Todd Stimson, in the USA in Jail for 3 years for growing plants.  THE STATE WAS WELL AWARE OF  lol - he was buying tax stamps for them! FRIG - it’s NO JOKE! 
Yet they did what you see in this cartoon and worse! & continues.
I have no doubts it contributed to his daughters cancer. 
So young and dealing with such bullshit. Not because of her dad.
NOT TODD. NOT for growing PLANTS.  He is NOT the criminal. Think about it.

So STOP judging and educate, please! 
Lets together end the insanity.

Moral Judgement:

The week is gone and it's been hot. I love it.  Too hot to sit out in it for me & Poppy, but we have no problems painting in the heat on the deck.  I told Storm Im having trouble cartooning - although I have many - he said 'Good!'  
"Good? What do you mean by that?"  I exclaimed?? - ego steps in - you' don't like my cartoon masterpieces?  lol  
"No mom, it's just that your painting are fantastic right now - so why stop?"

Why indeed. Well, because Todd is in jail ;( for 3 years, pick up any paper and some Perv gets a slap on the wrist for destroying some kids  life.  WRONG.  If you think it is not, send me a message I'd like to know why.  Todd was hurting no one.
Just like the war on drugs,  wanting to sue the public, ALL the  'Dirty rotten Pigs" Yes, Im making a judgement call - that they catch- beating the crap out of people for no reason- the Abuse of Power in general seems to be at an all time high and the revolution is on the horizon. People are sick of it.  What reason would you have to beat someone who is helpless and at your mercy. Physically? NONE.  So... cartoons will be drawn, they scream to get out.

My new rule - if you come you paint is wonderful! LOL - So far, Linda painting a terrific mermaid and on Tuesday Bonnie and I painted! & her handsome hubby took photos of my own passerines! You will see 'My boyfriend' below, who tweets to me for a few years now.   Photos below.   I started my new fun painting - I'm struggling with my first gold fish, already his expression is causing me to giggle so I'll carry on. 
I've made it pretty clear, company is by invite only now.  No drop ins.  
I need days of peace. lol  Oprah might be disappointed.  ;)
I miss the Oprah show.  lol  Norm took tomorrow off! Wonderful! 
It's a busy weekend - of what else more painting! lol I am a lucky lady.

Dear Rona.. I don't hate you, I find your behaviour, pretending to be so ignorant on such an important subject like cannabis is a terribly sad situation for ALL Canadian.
Just thought I'd clear that up. I don't hate anyone...
