A documentary was on about HIV. How over 34 million now suffer with it ;-( It has nothing to do with being gay anymore. It no longer cares who it kills.
I can't tell you the number of times over the years I have selfishly thought, Thank God it was before my time... it was and it was not, I was not aware as I am now or rather like most other things - I was not as educated on the topic as I now am.
The doc. continued to say that the quickest rising numbers are the poor, (of course) & women in their early 20's.
I do not know the channel I was watching up in Haliburton so I can't look for the television show. I did find this informative www on line with some facts and fictions about HIV.

One of the most shocking facts to me was, out of a number of people tested - still a HUGE amount were NOT even aware they MIGHT have it. I forget the exact amount but the numbers were high! So these people were all still actively having unprotected sex. Wow.
No wonder it is STILL continuing to increase at alarming rates - 30 years later.
Please EDUCATE someone today.
