Not long ago I painted the Bear, Fox & frog.. Storm called it 'Moonlight sonata' and claimed it as his own, he rarely does this - I was happy to gift it to him, I  had my friend Kathy from Kats Gallery frame it (above)  for his birthday, as you can see he has hung  it in place of value! Beside the fishing poles.  Storms painting was a different mindset only a month or so ago.

I decided to paint myself a matching piece - this time 3 cats!
The Lion, Jaguar and kitty. Again, I sketched it and then stared at it for about a week.
This painting means already more to me than most will realize. 
More than I realized as I continue to work on it.  
The Lion.. the King of the jungle.  
As I was just painting, it crossed my mind..
I believe, I've met the King of the Jungle.

As soon as it's complete it's off to Kat to frame matching Storms then I will hang it where
I will see it first thing EVERY morning... to remind me of My King.
Give thanks and start my day.
​It will remind me to keep my strength, the King will look after me, so does the Jaguar... 
I am the cat, ready for  peace, love and prosperity.  

Before I started painting I picked up this piece of paper it says on the back:

A bible verse with the quote on the opposite side from my little 'Bread of Life ' holder, I have had forever : Isaiah 41:10 ¶Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

I carried it up to my desk, then I went on PIN for my good morning hello and to look at my cats, the first quote that found me was a bible verse..  amazing close to that I just put on my desk.. and I LOVE it. 

Protected by love I cannot fail.
Inspired by love I will not fail.

Another Kitty has reached its destination!
This Kitty I kept a secret but it's a special number FUR a Puuuurfect person - I've admired for a while! I was thrilled she liked her Kitty(s) in the Grass,  reading her email made me smile.  I won't tell you who this owner is as she travels and It's more fun this way.  

A couple more kittys are in the mail and already on the way!
This Lion made me smile as I painted it, like how I feel when I think of the recipient.  ;) 
I might do another lions but no two kitties will ever be the same...

By the way - if this person never took another photo of her Kitties - I'd be o.k. -  I know SHE plants the seed of cannabis education and then some and has long before I started drawing about it,  She has represented the plant proud in my opinion. ;)

Brrrrrrrrrrr!  It's been a week of cold mornings to say the least!
So cold all I could think up one morning was a snowman wanting in my coffee! lol
& Poppy - lokin gout the window but ask her - want to go out - NOPE - Unless she sees me going out the front door- she has no desires to go out. Good. ;) Me too, Poppy!

What a week.. Jamie, I sent a 'DM' to his mom (private message -  I had to ask this friend on IG what that meant)  and told her I was avoiding her, to be honest.  I can't speak to her on the phone yet.  I DIVE into work I noticed lately when I am really upset - good, then I think of art and not heart.  I went nuts with watercolor and trying to learn some new things I see - then - Kitty in the grass. BUT, talk about 'work' setting it all up - lol
ANYHOW, it's done. I am sending out 3 kitties TODAY to celebrate! 

I'm also celebrating my 2nd Etsy sale! Woot Woot! Thank you.
Storm suggested I post my 'morel valentine' and 5 minutes later it was sold! I only have 2 more mushroom ones on it - I don't think I'll be loading more - I actually have a couple of people interested in Possibly making prints! Either way - I have a good friend who provided me with a few fun ideas to draw so you will be seeing more MUSHROOMS!
They can change the world! 

I am also celebrating a Instagram commission!!
- I hope those who have asked and I've refused don't get upset- but - lol, someone sent me a DM (private message) on IG (Instagram) and asked would I ?  I said 'no, but tell me more' - simply because I loved her posts- such a cute little funny cousin to Poppy!  Sure enough, she told me more and  the idea dancing in my head - what fun - I said 'yes.
Payment received - The little sketch yesterday had me smiling already! 

Whew - it's family day today - My son getting ready for a winter camping trip  in BEAR country (I'm trying NOT to think about it), Norm just got a call and might have to go to work... after he make dinner I say! lol    Norm has really been helping more with meals. 
I just can't do it, seeing as he is become a good cook. It was time!  I am  - painting nd taking photos of the kitties - whew! Then I'm caught up and can star to mail them out and just keep track-  just! BTW - I don't know IF I can commit to posting daily - just the thought - I will do what I can.. but the Kitty in the Grass is here.. lot's of them!

Out of anger and sadness Kitty came calling... ;)
I had this idea for weeks, I even sent one of the 'prototype's to the person who made my first Etsy purchase - He is now a follower on Instagram and liked his gifts! ;)
Thinking of Jamie- trying to remember he is free.  
Well again...  I get it, especially from my son who is living here an witnesses what we are all dealing with daily... No one wanted to tell me about Jamie but several knew.  
Shock! Sadness & anger - hit me with in minutes - could you tell, momentary madness took hold and  I forgot - Jamie is in his creators arms. With Hunny,  byw.  

I refused to let it consume me and desperately tried for 'something  happy to paint '- Cannabis on my mind as that is what brought Jamie and I together - out of love.  
Kitty in the Grass #1  appeared... followed by slightly more subdued kitties- just wait!

In every color under the rainbow, every single kitty is different with the ONE common thread *cannabis. & make other's SMILE! Each one painted by me with TLC and THC.
