Sometimes when I'm painting, Storm visits me in my office - he will say 'hi, check out my work and kiss me on  the head before he leaves   ;)  How fortunate am I.  
I can't always physically kiss people- obviously, but it does not stop me from thinking about them, sending them love...  and praying (truly) they feel better, blessed & loved.

Georgia ... On my Mind.        Thief.
Every now and then I see 'my art' on someone else's social media page with no credit to me. Taking compliments for my work- instead of redirecting people- "Check out Georgiatoons @ whatever..."  I have even seen people go so far as remove my name and enter in their own.
I very recently, saw one of my ideas almost re-drawn detail for detail  with a  few minor changes, the 'artist' took no credit (I guess not)- but 'the company' did for it's 'originality'.
At first I was in shock... slowly I felt a 'smile materialize across my face- like the Grinch,  a  pathetic attempt to steal my idea - without the talent - please.
I am owning it.  I DID create it. 
Did it get more 'likes' than mine? Yes. lol -  more people.  That's how it works. 
It won't make me give up.
All it does is show me who is paying attention & trying to make attempts at being - ME.
Am I wrong?  I am the only 'Georgia Toons.

Talent. Yes. I work hard. I paint EVERY day, all day-  It is a skill like any other.  
Go ahead, try. You can't steal my creativity or talent.  

It is stealing and it means: 
          YOU LACK imagination & morals.

simply, you are a thief like every other petty thief,  taking what does not belong to you.

I am in the process of working on a couple projects,  out in time for next year. I finally feel- 'strong enough to focus on a few of these projects. Guaranteed to make every cannabis enthusiast smile. Never before seen ART.  I paint all day - every day, you don't see 1/2.  I'm getting better every day, ideas and painting- while thieves surf on line and seal others ideas. That is how it will always be.  

I feel 'wonderful, elated, powerful & passionate when creating.

How do Yeti Dab? Narwal style!! 
I wasn't 1/2 through my unicorn when I starting thinking of my yeti.
Dabbing LOVE.

Yes, every image is love inspired and all kidding aside  -Cannabis is one of my true loves.
Without it, I'm not sure how I'd tolerate somedays, sometimes, to be blunt. 
If you are here - reading this blog  it does mean my art is 'successful'.
Education through art and love.  

Cannabis Oil/dabs are still considered/classified as illegal in the United States- it's well established already how this MEDICINE is helping all ages for countless reasons. Still it is an ongoing battle for many.  I am living proof.  
Without it I would not be painting every day.
 
While politics play.. children & adults alike suffer needlessly.   

Yes, this is a LOVE themed painting- for those who love to DAB, (medical & recreational- no one should-be going to jail for CANNABIS) smile and know... slowly,  3 things can not be hidden long.

Simply, Print the cards.  *I HIGHLY reccomend gluing the sheet of paper onto a card stock or thin piece of cardboard- the type from a cereal box works best! Recycle! Glue, leave overnight to dry- then COLOR!  I love this part.  Cut down the middle and in-between each card, write a tiny note on the back and deliver!
Either by hand or mail if you glued it to a cardboard stock- no problems!

Dab or Dab not. There is no try.  lol 
I love Yoda! I  also am a fan of cannabis. Try it all, in all ways do.
Edibles, smoked, drinkable, baked, candies, rolled, hash, oil.
Cannabis comes in many forms and I don't see this changing anytime soon.
Actually, my son who explains everything to me, my "Yoda"  explained Dabbing’ as he does whenever I ask - or I'm on google for hours. This way I'm at least pointed in the right correct direction.  I've had people offer dabs for a while and I tried off and on.

Better knows as cannabis OIL ... concentrate.  There are several ways it seems to obtain it, in slightly varying forms. It also goes by the names of shatter, resin, dabs, oil, BHO, Honey Oil, CO2 Oil… etc.  I find it astonishing.  I have experienced some very clean dabs and the high" was - refreshing.

I like dabs & I like Yoda - *he was not created by Jim Henson, like I thought.. http://muppet.wikia.com/wiki/Stuart_Freeborn  - many make this mistake.  Go have a peek- he looks like his creator. Yes, this  qualifies as a love post, I have a couple Yodas in  in my office.  As  you can see.  I love this little green wise guy.

Who remembers Holly Hobbie?
I DO!  I'm pretty sure I had a Holly Hobbie Doll, didn't we all? 

I was reminiscing on PIN, easy to do…  Raggedy Ann, Cabbage patch babies (I still have my original), The Sunshine family- now we can simply see toys of our past- get that ‘warm and fuzzy feeling all over again in a few seconds.

I was looking at of all things, the ‘Doll from Trilogy of Terror, remember him??  Frig that thing terrified me.  lol 
I was thinking of making a clay version for my desk in my office… lol - as long as his necklace does not fall off, Bird should be good. 

Well there she was - Holly Hobbie and BAM it hit me as plain as day.. she needs to become  ‘Holy iHighBe’  hee hee hee. 
It is my tribute art to Holly Hobbie -the Artist - of the same name more so than the doll, her one little image became iconic and loved by many little girls & boys.  She also is famous her her children books.

My little rendition of Holly -  My little Cannabis girl is also loved by millions around the world- the cannabis part anyhow!

She turned out so adorable, I have her framed and in my bedroom.  It makes me smile when I look at her & gives me a flash back of all warm & fuzzy - it’s a win, win.

I’m taking a social media break - to paint & ponder on the year to come.  Being the troglodyte that I am, I’ve decided to explore more this year, get some new music, focus less on negative news & more on positive & LOVE - not just for me, everyone needs more love.  Don’t you? 

Since I’m taking a break to paint - those who read my blog have a ‘heads up on my gratitude decision for 2017. Everyday,  I paint a ‘warm up and then work on a bigger piece- sometimes completing it, other times it takes a few days needless to say- I’ve quite to collection of little originals!  What will I do with them all?

Joy to the World!  Cannabis is changing for the better!  Yahooooo!!!
Wow, are you watching what's happening with the cannabis industry in Canada? 
I can't keep up.   ;)
Mostly good.. Some  crazy ideas about cannabis and alcohol
- that should never happen. 

Tis the season to be joyful!  I hope more people choose to smoke this season rather than drink alcohol! That being said - if cannabis impaires your ability to drive then refrain, especially if you are NOT use to it.  Alcohol is damaging on several levels & with the season comes 'have another!'   Please do not drink & drive with Alcohol in your sytem.

Yes, he will be my Chrsitmas card for this year!  I will spead Joy, Truth & Education hopefully the card will be displayed with all the others causing a conversation:

I've spent  the day designing a new logo!  How exciting!
I presented it to the client, his comment   "I thought it would be more cartoony"  
I replied:  "No, I do know how to get a little serious now & then." ...lol      
He "Loved it".                 I knew he would. 
He offerd a couple of 'changes' and I offered my opinion on why I thought otherwise, he agreed.  I do have a bit of artistic experience ;) It's nice to be  appreciated.  Althought, I won't deny - he came to me with the idea & thought it was terrific, so my creating was quite simple.

For every single person who has shared, reposted, talked about (good & bad), glanced at, printed, mailed & e mailed any of my drawings. Thank you.  Each time - bringing ALL of US one step closer to ending the negative stigma attached to cannabis as a medicine.

I started drawing to educate 10 years ago- when at 14 Storm had his first bong hit and his pain was no longer controlling him- he became master & controller of it. No more tylenol, codine or morphine to constantly consider. I thank God & the universe for the cannabis plant daily!

Inspired by love & we did not want parents who were already dealing with a sick child  have to deal with some of the 'BULLSHIT' we had to.  As well as be informed it was in FACT helping with chronic bone pain, that NOTHING was able to do as well & keep our son happy & healhty & active.  We decided to share, because of the loss of judgemental family & friends to the constant questions and concerns raised by othes - including myself at times, AND the politics of it all.  Health Canada Horror stories & fear mongering rampant in our own country, never mind any place else in the past 10 years -Good riddance, to a hateful, harmful government here in Canada.  Welcome Justin, who will legalize. be patient people.

Cananbis has introduced us to a new world, literally, one filled with compassonate & understanding people,  ready to be laughed at and shunned for thier love of a plant.  People who refuse to sit back and watch all day- instead, they draw, talk, protest, bake, blog, bulldoze & blunder thier way through to make a differnence, and they do.  
I am very thankful for them.

We have also met a few 'heavy hitters' in this industry and I am thankful for them, they fight the legal battles and go to bat for the millions who cannot due to lack of  health or finance. Many have been fighting for years and yes- it too can take a toll on thier health. 
We've made many friends ;) thank you...  all around the world!  Thank You!
Friends who showed us the ropes, taught us a few tricks, took us under their wings and more. Thank You.  
A enemy or two had been made a long the way I've no doubts. YOU will never please everyone & I am grateful for them as well - they teach the the most dificult lessons - each time helping make me stronger in the process.  More determined.

Every person who has taken the time to read  this blog and ignored my continued spelling & grammar errors!  I know how difficult it is for many, there too should be a lesson, if you are judge'n me bi my spellin, with out understanding - you have too much time on your hands.
& just like judging someone for wanting to choose cannabis over  pills - we are no better.
I try to only judge 'myself' at the end of  each day. That alone is enough.

Why? Well for one my bird - Bird follows me from office to painting room and comes to which ever room I am in when I call him.  Come on.. that's pretty cool.  lol
Other than that he appears to have no desire to leave.. but if I go downstairs I close the door.  
Instagram is awesome- its teaching me how to gouache paint- until my friend in Germany gets up his web site, IG (Instagram) inspires and makes me smile.. I just saw the cup (above) as I was about to get ready to go get my coffee! I 'steal'  cups & replace them painted! hee hee and they let me. I also replace a few cup wrappers with painted designs.
It's a great way to use my paint and possibly brighten someone's day a little.
I know they brighten ours with their little smiles on  cups- etc.. & FOOD! I am not kidding - the wraps are delicious, yesterday I had the Kobe Beef  with sautéed onions and mushrooms, today it's the salmon wrap,  I also enjoyed the chicken and harvati -roast beef sandwich and the Smoked cheese is mouth watering! Hungry?  Me too - now! lol  
I am NOT a fan of fast food/take out, so this is terrific. 
They are also service dog friendly- Poppy loves them and knows them so - she barks 'hello'.
It's nice should I feel the desire to walk home with her - its  bit of a walk... I'll just imagine we are walking the woods somewhere. 
I've painted 2 more cards that are in the mail! I hope this mail bull isn't  messing everything up, I know hempwick received  my Let it BEE Hemp dispenser I made for them, what a great company, I get good vibes every time I deal with them.  Hempwick if interested.
Norm and I are discussing separating & will  not be celebrating out 23rd anniversary in a few days, fine by me... I like the gift I got him & will keep it for my new home.  Not for anyone - either of us,we just can't seem to get along and are both tired.
It's wonderful Wednesday! I have actually been feeling pretty good.. it is time to make some serious changes in my life - We -I have changed and can't keep going in the direction I am.
I know what makes me feel good and what does not make me feel good.  I want to feel good.
It's that simple.
I go to the brain hospital soon - to discuss stuff. lol 
I have someone I want to invite, someone who does not believe what I am living with,  I am sure my Dr. would set him straight and then some- but why should I give a fuck about someone like this?  I did.. I don't anymore-  forgiven and forgotten - not worth one more moment of my precious time.  Time is precious.  
​I'm gonna be like Gollum with my time and who I spend it with.   ;)
If you don't get it -I don't fucking care. ;) It is my life, no one else's.

Time to get back out and PAINT the bullshit away and I feel stronger every day!

We started today with an adventure! I'm determined to take a vacation this fall - somewhere - I'm even contemplating Norway.. but that will mean walking - so I am walking! We left the house this a.m. at 8 and just returned its almost 10. I love my girls... they listen well - even when chasing wild rabbits, Daisy is away camping with Storm so I try to take these two out so they don't feel left out. I also have a things for Rocks and found a 'few' - I'll be painting later in the week. IF more people had dogs - less people would be taking pills, especially children. Dogs are probably cheaper than pills also in the long run.
Today it's painting cards for a few I love. I'll show you one below! I'm pretty sure this friend ( a male) does not have time to read my blog so I'm not worried about spoiling the surprise 
I had fun with this card - all the info and message on the back.. hee hee he  
It's for a friend who has not been so successful as of late with his fishing  - lol 
I'm sure he will smile when he gets this forever fish! A one of a kind!
Hallmark - should make these cards, if I do say so myself ;)  Time to get creative- how about you? Or will you come up with some excuse today as why you can't?

Meet Faye! 
One of the first dolls to be made and sent on her way! 
OMGosh this is too much fun-  playing with dolls!  & each doll gets a photo shoot with me before she leaves for her new home!  I have even made it so they travel in comfort!  Check out the images below.  Faye is a fan! She purchases my comic books and sends them all over the USA - mostly to politicians.  Ive come to know Faye a bit and think she is a wonderful woman & mom and  has quite a bit to say. I asked Faye if she would not mind sharing  paragraph with you:

Why does it take someone getting sick to become a believer?  
All I did was walk in a Hallmark Store to pick up cards, turned my head to the left to look at a video and my world went dizzy....  I made my way to my car and was able to drive without any problem, but could not walk without dizziness and nausea.  After doctors, specialist and many test, they could only tell me what was not wrong with me and couldn't give me any medication that helped; eventually they decided it was an inner ear virus.  
I started researching the internet on my own and came up with hemp oil; I first tried a bottle and saw a definite plus in my well being, then ordered by the case and have been taking it ever since.  

Due to propaganda and lies, hemp couldn't even be grown in the USA until this year; thank goodness for Canada.  But, it made me keep researching and finding out the benefits of cannabis.  Cannabis or Marijuana, whatever one wants to call it, there are medical benefits and should be a choice treatment for everyone.  Big pharma, the FDA and the government have given natural supplements a bad wrap due to greed and lies.  

Since I knew how hemp had helped me, I wanted to legally be able to try cannabis oil.  
I have always been a human rights advocate, but became an advocate for legalizing cannabis/marijuana.  I have told my doctors and specialist that if they tell me I have cancer that I will go to the nearest state where cannabis/marijuana is legal for my treatment of choice.  I have allergies, take allergy drops every week, would not go the chemo route; I will take my chances with cannabis/marijuana and hope for the best.

It is not that hard to find truth once you start looking, you just can't believe that you had been fooled for so long.  Google, that all one has to do.

So - Faye is a doll is real life too ;)   Speaking out  for many who do not. I am thankful.
The first of the  Girlfriend Doll orders was of course and education...
I kinda thought this might happen... A lesson was learned about girlfriends- I was not charging enough. lol - some might noticed the price jump, after  a well thought out  experience- I realized the time, supplies, packaging & shipping - lol - I was  practically giving them away at $50.  
I also did some research on Etsy- no where can you find an 'original, custom' work of art or anything like this doll  for anywhere near the price.  
Each doll takes me a day at least from start to finish, $80. is still a very good price - if I continue to get busy with the dolls and such, I will probably raise the price again.

I like to WARM up!
Stretch my body, water, coffee & some fruit or juiced stuff start my day for the brain then I'm in my office/studio and  before I start what I am already currently working on - I like to warm up my brain with my watercolor!  
I recently purchased some fine water color cards & envelopes to do just that.  
I love to create custom cards and better -  I love to give them away. 
Better then any bought card any day!
The perfect warm up before I start more serious painting business.
Up with the birds, I have a Dr.s Apointment in a couple of hours (me & Poppy)  and I heard this doctors Dachshund died recently  :(  he loved his little dog - that I know. 
The card a gift for him. Todays Job for making someone smile is done.

I feel stronger about this Easter and what it stands for than  I did only a year ago. 

I asked the guys if they wouldn't mind staying home this Easter even though we were invited to the 'family dinner - actually, I said I was staying home but they could go - lol -it did not go as planned... so, I painted  eggs to give to a very 'select few', purchased a new everyday tablecloth,  Norm  helped clean - we picked up some tulips and  Easter dinner  (cooked and catered by mom) was  terrific. Perfect. 

​It  was a peaceful day... leading up to a mini Spring break. 
I've decided to take some time to read and draw, think and draw... spend time with Jesus- as I become less religious.  This Rosary you see is my meditation.  
I sleep with it wrapped around my hand and wake up with it still there many mornings. 
Think what you want- I don't care, it brings me peace.  
It reminds me that miracles happen every second of every day, inspired by LOVE.
Time again to Go within, with Buddha and past time with Poppy as spring gets closer to becoming summer. 

I can't promise I will keep up the blog the next few weeks, I only have a short allowance for internet time, I can promise I will be keeping very creative!
I will post one  'image' a day if nothing else, but this won't include original art work- some of it is top secret at the moment,  a few gifts I don't want people to know about yet...  a couple pieces taking a while to complete and a NEW project -  I'm not at liberty to discuss - yet.  ;) The days are getting longer and I am getting busier!  Amen.

I wanted to send a friend something to cheer her up... something I knew will make her smile...

I came up with my custom little  "Hello Girlfriend"  I took at look at her instagram page - that was all I needed! I painted a mini 'TARA' and had fun the entire time!
I was so excited I made a mini 'Me' next!  When I was taking photos of Tara's paper doll I was truly giggling, then Norm saw it and chuckled .. Storm as well.  
I had even more fun posing my doll around my house as you will see below. 
Suddenly, I can stand on my head again! I can do that downward dog! It feels fantastic!
My body is free. My little paper doll reminds me.  ;)

The next thing I know I have a few girlfriends interested in girlfriends!
They make fun gifts & custom cards all in one.
I know I have 2 on the go! The thoughts of these little women going out in snail mail... they wiggle & dangle you can't help but smile! They are painted on  Archers 140 pound water color paper & come wrapped in a pretty little envelope.
The easiest thing to do is ask  a few questions, check out FB or instagram accounts of photos... 'Hello Girlfriends & Guy friends' will go out the door in small envelopes and bring big smiles across the faces of those who receive them!  
IF you are interested in ordering a 'Hello Girlfriend'  for someone special * no age limit, race doe not matter - religion- It doesn't matter to me - what ever makes you happy!

Tomorrow is valentines day and I will be sharing a new cannabis valentine card on Facebook, two actually.. the paint is drying  as I type!
The one above was painted with LOVE!  It's on it's way to a new home already.

As a matter of fact...  if you are judging someone over 'growing a plant',  the world is in serious trouble & you will be busy the rest of your life.We all do it.
What distinguishes one plant from another - 'man saying it is so.'
On the universal day of love - lets do just that.. Love each other .
