Poppy! Ready for action and service!  
I am beyond excited and thrilled! So much so  - I got dressed up today! lol
Poppy and I are going OUT!  
I was going to start this blog with I have good news and I have bad news..  the bad news being my condition has progressed,  I rarely get breaks and never know where or where an attack/episode  will come, but screw it! It's all good news! I'm still here and now able to get out and about again! Hopefully before the weather changes.
Its agreed  & Poppy is official with Dr.s papers and all. 

I wish I was not ill but I am and it's not going away.. so I better try to live with it. Simple.
Easier said than done when you're out in public become  frightened, wishing I was not having an attack in public, people look and often I see a kind of fear returned.
I stand still and I find my hands go out as my balance starts to wobble. 
* WHY Poppy is  Always clipped to my belt.
I don't I just need to try to ride it out, it only escalates when I'm alone.. so I stopped going out alone.  I can't expect Storm to take everywhere and I do want to go into few stores...  I have no intensions of going IN to restaurants with Poppy, but will sit in a patio - next summer. I mostly want to bring her to the library! I have trouble there.. I guess from bending over looking at books. I've already cleared it with them and cant wait for our first visit! 

At home when I have an 'episode' Poppy is on my lap, she climbs and 'kisses' me -  its the only time I get kisses .lol  I know my breathing becomes irregular and I stiffen up - I'm not sure how she knows but she does, often with minor episodes she'll just turn and look at me (while on my lap) more or less to say: o.k.?  I reassure her "I'm o.k. Poppy" and she puts her head back down. ;) She brings me back - zones me in.   I can look at her , pat her & the next think I'm focusing on her and the fear is gone. 
So why shouldn't I be able to take her with me!? 

It started a few months back when I tried to go into he dollar store (I had Poppy in her sling - not walking) and was told 'NO'.  The dollar store? I have seen kids in there who run around snot nosed,  touching everything - Poppy?  Please.  Anyhow, I have that woman to thank, she started the ball rolling. 

I am also designing a coloring sheet! Sure enough it happened yesterday, a little girl wanted to pat her & mom said no. Moms should always so no - you need know if the dog will bite, but the mom did say: "no, thats a working dog.." the little girl put up a fuss, so I explained and all was well.  Mom thanked me and off they went.  I don't want poppy touched or addressed.  I need her to focus on me. 

I already take Poppy to a Dr.s, for my appointments.
She never gets off my lap, she does not care where or why she is anywhere.
Understand  the dog does have to behave. 

Ask and you shall receive... sure enough, next thing I knew I was working on a logo for a woman in California in exchange for Poppy's custom vest! I needed something small. Had SERVICE so people understand do not touch, and comfortable for Poppy! 
I could not find anything on line * especially because of my hands not having strength, It needed to be strong velcro! April of California Chi  did an amazing job! I hope she is as thrilled with her logo!  She is on Facebook check her out!

Were on a mission now! 
Out and about with Poppy! I want to make this pleasant and have entered, asked and introduced.  Keswick is a small town - there are only so many places we can go. 
Yesterday it did my heart good. I hope to educate simply on people sometimes do need to have their pets with them. My canine  companion. It's off to the dollar store soon. ;)
I even had the vest designed for easy lifting. 

So stay tooned! Im a about to blog with my little dog! Before the winter weather has us captive in our  cabin! 
Draw a few cartoons and  design the coloring sheet.
Oh and did I mention she ALSO has her border crossing papers!

I started this a few days ago.. in hopes of sending it off into the universe & ask for forgiveness in the process, I guess from whom ever needs to give.  It's all we can do.  & let it go.

I know I have upset a few.   Perhaps they will forgive me. 
I am far from perfect and on days like today when I am woken by sharp pains down the side of my face, I think best I don't turn on my computer.  At least until I have used my bong a few times. What is my problem. My problem is I'm not a stoner/pill popper.  
I just want to be normal and do stuff like go out and garden without worrying about simple issues I did not use to worry about.

I have learned as soon as you truly forgive someone - WHOSH - never mind forget it, -
it automatically happens for you. You do kinda forget it and can move forward. 
IT FEELS FANTASTIC. What I am struggling with is:

What If you can't control it. 
For some in domestic violence, for example they don't have as much control unless they physically leave.  
What about someone who becomes ill. 
What is creating all this illness - not seen another parts the world. 
Research Dementia in the orient.  
Who do you forgive in situations where medications are harming people?
Do you know that the creator of DDT was awarded the nobel prize?

DDT is good for me! Do we forgive him? 
You know what is good  for me NATURAL, healthy simple food and MEDICINE.  Today I'll try to forgive mother nature. 
It's hard to even type this blog.  Do we blame the Dr.s that prescribe drugs? 
The sellers of the drugs. the scientist who claim they are safe, the FDA, the creators on the drugs. the inventors of the drugs. 
Myself for taking the drugs?

Forgive me or don't, its all I can ask.  I've forgiven and it does feel peaceful.

Yesterdays drawing just happened at my desk. It needed to escape.  No pre thought. 
I grabbed a pencil and started. It was not a family favorite.  Just like life - every day has its ups and downs.. we keep going. 
Pretending they don't happen is when problems happen. 

Forgive someone today - it does not change anything - about the person, or even the situation - it only means you don't want to carry the burden of the situation anymore- let it go! Over.  WHOSH! 

Feelings get hurt - it means your still alive and capable of them, welcome back from the world of the walking dead.  Learn to deal with them. Not pop a PILL for them.

Let God be the judge.. now, I can get back to focusing on my destiny... drawing.

I spent the past couple of days quietly cleaning my painting room.  
The last few mornings have been too cool in Canada to paint outside! Geez! lol I went out for a walk in full tracksuit get up.. Poppy shivering by myside!  
Remind me - it's August! I like to paint first thing int he morning, after reading - and it's too cold outside! So, in it is and I started painting last night, all cosy and warm. 

...Saw 4 is ready to go.. what will it be? Wait & see!  Painted you know with TLC & THC! 

...A new painting is up for sale - Splendour in the grass, a little Poppy fun. ;) 

...Today adding ink to a new Zen Kitty cartoon, of something playing on my mind-    Forgiving. 

...Good news and bad news my illness has progressed to the point I'm struggling with going  anywhere, Poppy is 2 and the good news is: she is official! More on that soon, but 
she now accompanies me to Dr. visits and more.  I feel a bit of power regained with my little Poppy by my side. Comfort for sure.  Its quite an interesting learning process.  
I am learning people with disabilities often feel  they are ashamed/shamed sometimes for them and it is simply not nice.  

...& then, (lol) inking a new bird cartoon about what I recently learned about coffee!

...a Facebook friend died.  Geeze... apparently he fell off his motorcycle when trying to avoid hitting an animal. He was a friend with my alias page also.  I have added a few - with no bullshit attitudes - yet kind hearts, I have liked- you know who you are, I post GeorgiaToons stuff anyhow - but at least the page allows me to communicate easily with a few friends and family.  Gone. No goodbyes.  Again. ;( 

...hurting my mind this week above all else - the FDA approved  prescribing Oxy for children, with serious pain issues! OMGosh. 
Please learn and share with anyone you know Storms Story! My son will soon be 23! 
AMEN!  Instead of cannabis - the safer alternative-less addictive and no accidental overdose Can they even prescribe the correct does? Are they making a smaller does pill for little ones? Wow. Big Pharma just took low to a new level.  Would you give your child oxycontin?
Research the side effects. Please.
Soon these issues will all be out of my mind and on paper and I pray that they will make at least ONE person think and change their mind against using pills instead of a plant.

A photo Storm caught of Poppy & I, hard at work on the computer.. PINing pet gifts for christmas no doubts. Actually we were not,  we were thinking of how to paint a Hippo - in hopes it will educate for their demise! 

I am a warner brother - Saturday morning cartoon junkie! & proud of it!  Norm and I argue over the amount of time he watches Bond, I keep quiet the moment he mentions bugs bunny.  This morning I woke up before the sun and went down and turn on the t.v. and put in disc 3 volume 1 'Classic Warner Brother' cartoons.. 
Rabbit Season it is! 

Think what you want - I'm 51 and Daffy Duck never fill to make me laugh.  Artistically - his body posture is terrific! Just the stance he he takes before his actions crack me up. Facial expression like that - From a duck!? Genius. It is.  I am painting little card box but my mind is on my next Raven painting, I've sketched out what I want, have my reference photos and was going to pant him in a field of sunflowers and thought - forget that! Don't you get it! Paint the plant you love - providing Storm with a life and easing our pain! 
Paint Cannabis! I love to paint he plant- I find it peaceful and - I see I have my own style that I've not seen elsewhere! I get to hide little hearts, peace signs and more loving vibes.
The vibrant plants with the black Raven! Can't wait! 

I also had my raven enjoying a spliff and then Porky was on the scene holding a sherlock pipe of all things - as 'Sherlock homes' side kick with Daffy Duck!  lol  
Thank you Porky! My Raven now needs a sherlock I see. 

Who cares - I'll take a cartoon over some of the blood and guts senseless violence seen in most movies and shows available today. Why do this to myself - watch someone arm get blown apart- Im aware it is happening, but do we need to see it - ALL the time?  No thanks. Talk about depressing.   I won't watch most anymore. 
My time, too important - I'd rather spend it with a book.   I just finished the Alchemist which I enjoyed very much. Kinda an 'in-between' book for me.
Follow your dream, look for Omens - Signs - they are there! 
 I feel that book was a perfect fit.  I recommend for a quick, beautiful imaginative read!

Still reading my bird book, well the libraries: Silence of the Songbird, I had to renew it! Poppy comes with me next visit! More on that later.
I found this terrific article by Wayne Grady, I am having difficulty with long articles, believe it or not.  My *episodes can make everything  difficult on bad days - I have to re-read, re-write and still simple simple stuff appears wrong once published.  When I can I will include others articles. They put it better with words than I do.
This cartoon specifically focuses on Deforestation  & it is prevalent everywhere.  Poor birds.
What an education I just had on coffee shade trees,  it really is an interesting read. 
Inspiring too, as you can tell. 

Its another cool great day.. fall is on the way. You can't help but LOVE fall in Canada,  I'm sad to think summer is nearly gone. I think our grackles have already left & last night at dusk, I heard it - the Canadian Geese Good bye! 
I'm thankful for my feeders and little feathered friends 'Tiny Gardeners'  Who plant seeds! 
I look forward to the winter bird watching out our kitchen window,  Norm is building me a 'Bird feeding station' in the back yard the next couple of weeks, I'm excited!

Big beautiful trees, I am a tree hugger & proud of it - I still have much to learn.

About yesterday.. I feel bad about that guy, (the Rat scientist) I feel bad when ever I am angry at anyone. I wonder 'why.'   He is not responsible for making the pills... he is responsible for appearing as if - it's no big deal.  I'm also confused, he was asked - the FDA rejected it at first - was it changed?  No,  it sounds like just minds were changed.

We really need to stop with the pill pushing. It's a fact it is destroying our lives in countless ways.  Yet some people just seem to fluff it off, likes it's nothing..  and really for an orgasm? Don't get me wrong - but let's OPEN our eyes!  We need to focus on other things than our libido for a change.  Or we won't have one.. our kids are already not being able to re-produce babies, boys  NOW are being born sterile - it is being blames on CHEMICALS  in the water, in our systems being passed down.  What do you think happens when you pee? 
I've discussed this before? I have learned it all new myself... if you lived what I live with; trust me you would  wonder - WTF.   
When our grandkids grow up they will look on our generation with disgust  when they have no  birds, forest and all we focused on now is the f*cking Kardashians. Literally. 
Please think about what you are putting into your body. 
Don't listen to frisky rats who don't give a rats ass about US. xox

It's a new day.. I need it.
What a blessing  - each new day a new start. 
Today like every day I start with asking: 'o.k. what do you want to teach me today?'
I should not have asked. lol 
I see how 'Jared of Subway Fame - you know the guy who lost all the weight - eating subs..
 is now going to jail for being a PEDOPHILE - and guess what - he might only get what Todd got- for growing plants. Ruin a mind of a child for life and get a couple of years. Grow plants to help ease minds.. get several years and some serve a LIFE sentence! 

Then I watch how the FDA approved a new  drug for women and could be coming to Canada near you! It does not mess with the body - like a man  viagra- it messes with your mind instead.  Watch the interview... I am so glad 'his rats are frisky', go to his professional page and see he is paid  by these companies.  ?  Come to your own conclusions.
He actually says 'it puts the brakes on part of your brain',  and it STILL really depends on the person. How many women will suffer from side effects- God forbid they don't happen as you sleep like they recommend you take the medication... & you have to take it for months in advance. $$$ long term customers.. Is it addictive?  
       "The FDA loves the idea of a sexual satisfying encounter"  This made me LOL when he said it. WTF!? Isn't that special. Perhaps the FDA should fucking focus on our health. FOOD & Drugs and not our sexual encounters,  he states "interestingly they all come through his lab".  ?
Yes, that's of interest.  It should be, shouldn't it?
A conflict of interest- we hear/read about it all the time now. 
Am I making this stuff up? 

The FDA still passes pills that they know kill. We read about it every day and many we don't dread about.
For those small percentage that  might have an adverse reaction - oh well, too bad, so sad.

You decide.. Norm and I we know how to  romance each other - Not with pills.
When we do struggle - we still don't think it's worth the side effects- all relationships struggle.  The choice is yours but hopefully YOU will READ the WARNING labels.

I have a new rule if you've  been reading - lol - If you visit you paint! Or craft.  Create! 
Honestly this is for me too.  I feel I'm here to teach others to have fun with art. Let go and have fun. Pallets are fun and easy. 
When my best bud Cathy called and asked 'could I paint a bear sign',  how could I resist.   
I met Cathy years ago and know I've blogged about her before.  As usual,  just her presence and genuine love for me puts me at ease, luckily she visits about once a week  -lol! Cathy helps me talk through stuff.   I swear, she has saved Norman from divorce court a few times over the years - lol, she can calm.  She loves 'people' & it shows  & Yes, I am thrilled one of those people is ME!  
We use each other lol -  she brings cherries and bakes pies, I paint a hat!
I cant even begin tell you the countless ways Cathy is a friend. She  hugs amazing too. 
Get it? lol  
O.k. so... LOVE PIN and I see these awesome curtains! Cathy crocheted them for me! 
I have them in my office/drawing room and they brighten my day! I know they'll make the winter a little easier to bear! lol  This week she came and we made bear signs, and today- she just left! LOL We painted Will Sing For Food! 
She called this a.m., I had just gotten off the computer - after yet another morning of FaceBook frustration- she said "can I visit?"
I said PLEASE! Do! 
Signs painted ;) Frustration gone, chat and hang out with Cathy was all I needed. 
Thank God for friends. Old friends new friends but mostly... NOW friends.

It's Monday! I just finished my  next saw blade- lol - who knew! I love painting on them.. but no not the traditional landscape scene. Who better to paint on a metal saw blade than the tin man himself!  Ready for some Oil Dabs! lol  
"Oil, Oil..."  he exclaims through a clenched (rusted) jaw. 
Cannabis oil, extract is oil made from cannabis. I make my own medicated coconut oil, and butter,  some make an extra potent oil  a.k.a.: 'Rick Simpson Oil'  Google Rick for more info.
I like oil in my tea on especially bad days when my  condition is hard to control.  As well as for sleeping there is nothing better IMO.  No nasty side effects - OIL is all we need! 
I love the Wizard of Oz so .. Ta Daaaaa!  Saw blade 3   Oil for the Tin man! 
It is a 10 inch saw blade. I've already asked Norm for more! - He has warned me to stay out of his garage! Apparently when the 'teeth' break off they are no good- still fine to paint in my opinion!

I have never made this oil and do not plan on it.. it is  a lot of cannabis, a lot of time, work and not something I want to do in my kitchen.  But this explains it pretty well to my knowledge. I have the recipe for making coconut oil here.

As cool mornings remind me of fall and winter... I think of my friends leaving. 
I'll miss the constant twitter chattering outside my window every morning. The different calls - I get so excited when I hear one I don't think I have heard before.. I will miss our backyard birds! Last week I saw my first woodpecker! 
Right at my *homemade nut feeder! 
*An old teak bowl I drilled a few holes in and tied on some string. ;)
 We also have a baby cardinal with a beak so bright you think he was eating an orange!  
I have learned about seeds, peanuts, suet, worms and more! 
How birds sleep, travel feed care for babies- all with watching and reading. 
My favourite book by far this summer  has been:

I wish I could say Birds are doing great but they are not.

Read and you will find out too, if at all there is anything we can do! 
For now, I'm back outside to listen to the birds while I paint.

As you are aware my son is a Musky fisherman!  I've lost count as to how many he has caught! His biggest 53 inches and to me it looks like the lockness  monster!  
Last outing with me, he caught a smaller Musky! It was exciting to watch! 
Such a beautiful creature.  Storm catches and releases - so  it's all pretty quick! 
Remove the hook, get a photo and the fish is back in the water! 
Hold one of these mini monsters for a photo - forget it! lol 
So....
I painted my own! 
Actually this one is a gift for friends.  I like to say 'thank you' the best way I know how. 
I am sure the recipient will love it.  Handy hubby Normy made me a template & I'm already on my second fish! They relax me to paint.  Each scale soothing as it hits the canvas/fish.  
This fish is on prime piece of pine!  I like painting n wood. 
The one above took me a day - a day in-between puttering int he garden, dishes & usual daily duties!  I believe I will make one for sale and see what happens.  
The next one though - I'm lucky  this one is going - when Storm came outside and saw me painting this fish he freaked, so the next is his.  Of course.

I was raised a catholic and love Jesus! What a man!  ;)
Now: I am for ALL which makes US better Beings!

Would Jesus send people to jail over a plant that is proving to save lives?
For a plant his Father put on this planet For all of us genesis 1:11?

Would Jesus be happy, normal hardworking, everyday people are losing their  jobs, home, families and still in some parts of the world - lose lives?!!  
No.  
If EVERYONE worked together to educate… 
HOW would it be o.k. to kill people over cannabis?  - it would not. 
It is NOT.  
Changes would have to be made and they are but not fast enough!

This is based on  moral judgements of whom?   
These laws? Who are they helping?
Who is anyone hurting when they use any drugs - only themselves ;(
Even - ESPECIALLY, alcohol. What a destroyer of families and lives.

The only ones that should be in jail are people that seriously hurt others.

On Facebook? Go read what my friend Kerry Posts about her husband Todd Stimson, in the USA in Jail for 3 years for growing plants.  THE STATE WAS WELL AWARE OF  lol - he was buying tax stamps for them! FRIG - it’s NO JOKE! 
Yet they did what you see in this cartoon and worse! & continues.
I have no doubts it contributed to his daughters cancer. 
So young and dealing with such bullshit. Not because of her dad.
NOT TODD. NOT for growing PLANTS.  He is NOT the criminal. Think about it.

So STOP judging and educate, please!

It is for me.  I read the line and this is what produced in my imagination.
Bugs and summer.  I hear them mostly and from time to time I catch a glimpse - usually when not expecting it- like before the thing is in my hair, after I walked into the tree it was dandling from! 
Persistant creatures on a mission to survive.  
A Cicada is still a Cicada, no matter how different it can appear.
One I would sit and watch for hours- add 'wings' and I'm off running! lol
We all look so different, just like the many different varieties of other creatures in this  world.  How boring if all Birds looked the same!
Cats for that matter too..  If you love cats chances are YOU love the cat family.
Humans are one family of creatures. Each one looks completely different, yet we all have the same inside parts  with the exception of Adam & Eve parts. 
Simplify it even more...
We all have a heart that beat.

Simplify it.

I woke up today and was told to DRAW. 
From the second I poured my coffee, I was told:
You need to draw about humans, make them think and smile. Teach only love.
Not paint, No those dishes are not going anywhere, The dog hair, will only be there again after you vac, don't answer that phone or door!

OH, Canada.   
Have a look, this is just a tiny fraction of what you will find out about Stephen Harper online and the impact he has made on Canada.  Worst Prime Minister in Canadian History.  Election time is upon us, as Harper smears with his lies please take a moment on Face Book or else where to educate some others that might not be aware of what Harper is doing to Canada. Educate.
