Storm took me to Currys  art supplies and I have new paint and paper and I am having a difficult time not painting! I have a few on the go! I have a 'fox and hen' almost complete (acrylic) but it must wait - I am in the process of transforming my painting room - with the help of my lovely assistant- Jessie- have I told you about her?  I love her - she's a bit of sunshine who comes and helps me  sort, arrange, paint and gives me many ideas, she is a very creative being herself and we have hit it off.  I am grateful for the help- I'm feeling less overwhelmed.  More on my little assistant soon.  I think of her as a firecracker - tiny but  I bet she can really shine when she needs to and she brightens our home with just her smile.
I'd like to take her to Scotland with me...  lol..    she does not know this plan, yet.

As for my 'Fuck everyone' painting, more like it are coming.  
FUCK YOU you, know who you are.   ;(  I'm done with bullshit.  
IF you Do not believe in me - then move the fuck out of my way because all you are is a bump in the road.  Slowing me down for just a moment.  I believe in me.

Paint it out- Fuck it- I'm not keeping inside, I'm not letting any negativity stuff  work at me anymore- its not worth it.  It starts to fuck with my physically and I can hardly handle what I am dealing with most days- I woke at 4 today and couldn't function until about 8:30.
my twitch so intense this morning.  I could not walk a straight line.
Life is full of shitty people who say nasty things-  and surrounding them is  a nasty life - which I want no part, time to move on and enjoy all that this day provides.

I realize I am happiest to paint alone, days on end without seeing people...  I don't need to sit around and gossip, and I don't think about negative things.. once I start to paint I get lost in the idea of  life, imagination &  fantasy- I think about people I like admire and want to spend time with.

 Storm laughs at me- it is staking 'Skype' - with those I trust and want to converse with, which is making it a bit easier for me to get past speaking to people with my twitch. Robert,
 told me it just looks like I'm winking at him all the time and he likes it ;)  Ivan, I swear he does not even notice - I love seeing what he is working on and his window view! I met his wife our last chat!! So cool- She is a potter - I've ben invited to come play with clay! lol   & Mike ( an friend I met thought  Treating yourself years ago...   just in the past couple of weeks... all friends who make me smile, laugh, dream and HOPE.  All around the world I might add - how cool is that?  Soon Jo and I are gonna chat! 

Just Thinking of our conversations can bring a smile to my face. Thats what I will do.
I choose to surround myself with good thoughts!  & fun FUCK you paintings!

I am forcing myself to paint every day.
This happens to be Yesterdays mood...   when I started it I was in tears,  slowly I focused on the art and not the heart and all felt a bit better when I was done.
'Art therapy' for sure, this one.
Until my son forced me out (lol - I love my son) & took me to buy some new paint!  
A slightly brighter image tomorrow.

I don't need anyone to believe in me.
I believe in myself.

I've been Buuuuzzzzzzzy! Check out my 'bee box hempwick* dispenser 'I designed and painted! Hempwick is a company I friended years ago and every now and then we give each other stuff. because it's what friends do. No money, just fun, love and BEEing.  They have free samples BTW- with my little toon on some of them ;)  It is by far one product I don't do without, since I prefer to use a bong I like to lite it with hempwick rather than just a lighter.
We made two, one for them and one for me! the other on my living room dresser.

My little watercolor moleskine sketching/painting was so much fun at the winery the the other day- I've decided to do it more! More painting moments- live- I don't have to travel the world- it would be nice and still in the works for this fall.. until then, I'll paint my backyard and the bigger version of.
 This image with the pond one was literally my back yard, complete with the glass  'totem' my friend Cathy made me! 
Today, I flipped a blanket I had lying out back and had an encounter with a bunch of wasps!  They must have been building a next under it and my hands were being swarmed and stung as soon as I flipped it! lol- I nearly jumped in the pool! I immediately called the girls! LET'S GO! and flew from the pool deck up into the house- Storm came running as he heard the commotion. I spent the rest of the day painting in my office - away from bees.

​I've so much on my mind these days..  painting and thinking, the days fly.
I didn't plant much of a garden only a few plants in pots, I can't be bothered. I feel as though all this stuff just ties me down & prevents me from doing what I really love to do.
What for? For the sake of feeling obligated just because I've done it for so many years before. I don't think so. Change is in the air right now- I found a red hair color!
I'm gonna have some fun.

I finished my painting Sativa Indica - 2. Except for the lettering which i will add on the digital image and not the original.  A few small changes but the message and vibes is the same. More detail & more love.  More focus on nature.
The original a couple of years old and I find myself thinking the same things I did then, why are people suffering over this plant. Politics. 
On the Sativa side I added a heart - what's good for the brain is good for the heart.
When your mind is  creative, inspired - it keeps you busy, focused and happy- that is good for the heart. Feel the love.  
The wording will be simpler
Sativa:   Energy   Stimulant  Relief  Creativity   ^THC 
Indica:    Relax   Sedative   Pain Relief  ^CBD

Just painting this  did all of the above for me- medicated of course.  
I am thankful to Duke the owner of the painting, he sent me a lovely e mail asking me if the original version was for sale, I replied 'no, but stated I wanted to try it again  now that I am working with a different medium, if he was interested - (it would be the boost I needed) I would re paint it and he could purchase it.  He did. I went online and bought some new gouache paint and I loved every second of painting Sativa/Indica all over again!  I don't mind saying I would be very happy to keep this piece for myself.
Duke appears to be quite the gentleman, here is a link to the club(s)  "Ultra Health'  he operates, I just checked out the website  - I did not want to prior to painting as I did not want to be influenced by it,  the vibe is wonderful that the video sends and I see Mr. Irv Rosenthal in it -  Another wonderful man and activist. They are  in Arizona- feeling the heat worse than we were yesterday! My prayers with with them & animals & pets all over.
Today - it's chilly but I expect it to warm up quickly.
I am thrilled this work is going to a new home who believe Cannabis is medicine and helps those who need it  safely access it. 

This will be the newest post card! I will let you know when it's ready.  
Yesterday, the weather, quick temperature drops... I could not finish, it was a perfect way to end the evening and go out to look at the magnificent moon and today wake up to a new day  and new indica/Sativa.  My hands are still sore today... I'll stretch them now with a mini warm up of squirrels at a picnic.

Today,  we took a break &  I had a different view...
Sangria & sunshine, felt as though I was in Spain.  Just what I needed.
God has me exactly where I am to be.  
Listening to bees and birds and grapes growing.

I started the repainting of 'Sativa Indica' and the color is VIBRANT, Gouache.
I am grateful to DUKE, he gave me a little push and this artwork will reflect my gratitude.
Painted with Much TLC & THC... It will take  few days.. stay tooned.
Time for me this weekend to focus on painting.

Alice in wonderland...  we are all mad here, that is why a little cannabis goes a long way.
Help keeping us calm.  

I'm getting the feel for Gouache painting  and enjoying it very much.
Just as I say this I'm about to move into the other room and hit a huge canvas big time! 
Acrylic and the mind switch, paint the canvas black first and just wait...
tomorrow  grid it out, sketch it in white on the canvas, Tuesday as my first bits of color & then  I hope to work on it straight through this weekend. 
At the same time I have just started to sketch my idea for a 'redrawing' of a postcard I did, 'Sativa - Indica'.  Now that my style has changed I have been wanting to re paint that image- it has me thinking of details of night and dark, every aspect an opportunity for painting pleasurable experience  surrounded by dark, light & love. 

I'm very spontaneous if you have not realized... sure enough last week, I had someone offer to pay me for an original and they had mentioned they liked the Sativa/Indica  one in particular.  I shared it was sold but expressed I was considering painting something like it - if they are interested they could commission me and I provided a price.  'Duke' - his name & part of my reasoning for saying yes,  made a payment to my paypal account and it was a push I needed.  Just researching - is exciting. I was so happy , I  put some of that income to good use and signed up for a new Craftsy class!
It looks exciting and difficult- I'm ready!  I KNOW after this class my skills will increase, never stop learning, a new twist, idea, perspective is refreshing. 

Now it's time to have fun & get lost in paint BIG TIME!  Perfect for this blustery day!!

German Bud! The international bud collection 2. 
I already have 3 almost done and like the idea of a Spanish Señorita bud is exciting!
It's amusing looking at these little friends, I did ask friend to assist with some research, so I might focus on other paintings - as well as have asked  for a few suggestions on Facebook.
Traditional images and symbols are still the best to get ideas across.

What brings you peace?  
It's painting of me & it's time I caught up.
I've had so much on my mind, I think since march.. only now do I feel 'things' starting to come clear, line up.. get ready for the universe to align- ready to shine. 

No facebook this week, no instagram either..  it's time to paint.

Good things are happening! Change is in the air! I feel it in my heart with every beat.
Time to re align.. I am 're hanging' my office! I have some serious work ahead, I've recently been inspired by a Skype call with Ivan, his office is so neat! As in cool.  As are the projects he is working on!  How blessed I feel to have such good friends all around the world... and with Skype/internet - its as though they are in the next room.  It sure helps keep a smile on my face. Pain or not! 

I have a new assistant! Her name is Jessie and she is assisting with what ever- working, finding, hanging, sorting bouncing off ideas- you see, these two (Norm& Storm- hard to believe I know, lol)  get tired of it- as would you, if it was you mom or wife of 24? 25 years.
I lost count.  Jessie is 22, still in school, funny, quick and talented- and full of ideas of her own! I look forward to her next visit tomorrow, I plan on teaching her a little gauche. 
It's wonderful to start to feel organized & see lighe at the end of the tooning tunnel.

I've 'international bud' to paint and much more- I'm designing a post card for the 'Cannabus'  in Scotland for my friend Robert! As planned, if all goes well I will be visiting him (his family) this year and just the thought has me smiling! 

Im going to consult with another friend in Germany - the same gentleman who -I watched his gauche lessons on youtube! I found him and BUGGED him on FB, lol , until he replied. he is very funny person in my opinion.

I'm creating something every day. A side line for today was a hat for my mom- some event she is attending..  below the photos, lol!  I like to thank my wonderful patient 'hat model'! 
I LOVE my son, he is so much fun.

Cannabis is used and celebrated all around the world!
We forget that, with our daily struggles and own battles in Canada with cannabis.
We forget that in the USA - in one state you can grow and in the next you go to jail,  that right there, is criminal.  In other countries it's the same, many still fighting the negative stigma associated with cannabis.

Why are so many  fighting?  They are tired of seeing a war waged against each other.  A failed drug war, used only as an excuse to imprison minorities,  
mostly black - fact. Next hispanic incarcerations  - it is horrendous how humans are being treated over a plant.

It's time to have some fun and at the time create some cannabis bud pride!  
It starts with Scotland.  
I have recently been invited to Scotland & Spain - and it is on my mind.  
I've showed you the 'Cannabus' decorated with my art- and yes, I would like to see it in person and visit with my friend Robert,  who I have e mailed with back and forth over the years, he seems like he is a lot of FUN & I know we already have a few things in common, like our mutual love and appreciation for a plant - and educating others.  
I have drawn a couple of  logos for now for him, Including the ZEN KITTY CAFE, another still, top secret.. ;)
I've mentioned to a few friends "over there" that I might be visiting, it seems it just might be more of a trip than I imagined.  I have a good friend In Norway I would love to see & stay with, there are a few details that still need tended to before I travel like.. should I bring Poppy? lol

With all the terrible, ridiculous raids in Toronto lately it's a wonderful, creative diversion to research and find traditional icons to suit the little buds.
The next bud is on the the drawing desk! Waiting for details!!
Who would you like to see represent!?   India Bud? Australian Bud? German Bud?
I will also incorporate little  ideas/props as well.. keeping in tune with the toon.

Please remember around the world people are struggling with canabis education and  unjust punishment over a plant. Some counties much harsher than the USA or Canada still. 
ONE love should bring it to the forefront - end the insanity - so we can ALL focus on helping and healing each other.  Plants over Pills!

Lies and it is STILL happening today. So sad this 'wonder drug' came over to Canada- the USA did not allow it- but they have made up for that attitude since ;(.  The manufactures were terrible humans and knew what they were doing- they continued for profit.
JUST like pharmaceutical companies today who try to convince us the medicine will help.

It's here! I am thrilled to share the Dog Bite prevention kit is here! 
The dog book I was illustrating is complete and when I saw it - I was blown away!
I enjoyed working on this project and was given complete artist freedom! YEEHAW!

I had no idea it was going to be an awesome kit as well! & for only $20. - seriously - hard to believe to everyone I have presented it to so far! $20 to possibly  save a child/anyone from being bit?  Not to mention FUN! Hee hee  It has a memory game that I love!  (two games) I have played it several times and look forward to a little one to join me!   The concept of the book is parents read it with children- as I was drawing Storm kept saying:
"MOM! Why are you drawing that kid doing that to that dog?!" 
I had  to get the point across and we did!  I have read over the book and was very impressed, I can't tell you, countless times kids have come up to my dogs and stuck their face in theirs- not knowing.  My girls are good- but you never know, Tequila is old, sometimes dogs just do not want to be bugged- and sometimes attacks seem unprovoked- but with careful attention  family pet owners will recognize the signs and teach their kids to avoid a possible dangerous altercation!

This has been one of the most gratifying projects I have ever had the pleasure of creating.
I can't help think of all the kids that will read, laugh, giggle, imagine, talk & teach 
(IT comes with PAW stickers & popsicle sticks!!!) each other over this book & Bandit's kit, The official mascot ;) They will have fun,  talk about the art work and save legs, hands, faces from  painful, frightening dog bites that sometimes even can lead to death. ;(  I read a few sad stories. I really wanted to post here some graphic images to shock some of you into the reality of how often this does happen - if only to educate-  do but I won't because the Kit is just too happy.  PLEASE never forget the reason behind this creation.  I will say I have become friends with Rachael (the owner and operator and hard working woman*) over the years and she is even more passionate about this project than I was - If you can believe it! I love her for it. She is truly saving lives of dogs! Many of them and you know how I feel about 'my girls'! 

I am gifting a kit to the kids behind me, vibrant little girls and others who play in the yard and they have dogs and puppy! I must say- its great, me being able to watch the pup play and I think - glad he is over there!  Like  'granddoggen' I get so see & have fun but don't have to chase after all the time! lol
I'm excited, in a letter: I've asked them to be official testers and send a comment to Windy Willow Pets Service! I know it will be terrific because the "Bandits Kids & Pup Safety Program" Kit  is!!"  

This project was drawn with much LOVE. 

Side note: I did ask to keep one original which is now  very creatively framed by my LONG time, good friend/cow Kat,  of Kats Gallery  I know she will smile at that.
She posted she's leaving Town! The love of her life is in Montreal, I must say the thought of Kat gone brought a tear to my eye- cause I had a piece of glass in it (again she is smiling).  Really, I will miss her presence.

The moment I heard and saw, I cried & was pissed off.  
I tried to remind myself - wait- don't judge - F*uck that!  Charge her!  
I have spent the past 3 days researching, do you know how many careless people go to zoos? 
Too many ;( The zoos point, the mothers point, people who were there..   I learned Panda are not  cute- do not try to cuddle them or your leg will gnawed to the bone or be ripped OFF. The wild dogs of Africa- they did eat a lady's 2 year old baby *AGAIN -WTF was she thinking. ;(  so sweet, I could not even look at his little face, it was concluded the dogs are what killed him. 

I said to Storm - I'm never going to the zoo again.  I won't.
I won't contribute to the torture of an animal knowingly for our amusement.
Then add stupid people- so distracted with cellphones look what happens.
I would never in a million years want to see a child harmed but all the people now, who say a gorillas life means nothing compared to this child/any child- that is the problem!

WE THINK we are the superior fucking beings on this planet and look how we continually prove it!  We have slaughtered these beautiful beasts to the point of extinction.  
Add insult to injury - we throw them in cages with nothing to do,  glare, taunt, tease them and when 'accidents' happen - we shoot them -  suddenly the animal is the beast- wrong.

'The child could have gotten hurt'- why don't we shoot every pedophile who rapes a child then and destroys them for life? Why don't we shoot everyone who kills a child - on the spot.

Oh, it's different.  Yes, the gorilla probably cared more - he appeared to be gentle until everyone started screaming... I get having to shoot 
Do you know how intimate the bond is between  gorillas and babies?  Below are a few photos I have borrowed off of PIN  I searched Gorillas. I looked in the eyes of a beast as I drew and I had to turn away, ashamed for what we do, I will no longer contribute to. 
I have also seen zoos that run down and do not look after animals properly...  we have incredible documentaries and IF we are smart - we will take every cent and put it towards  saving what we have left- for them not us. 
I try to think as a group - in perfect world- I'm sure some don't agree. 

Rest in peace big beautiful beast.
