I have family visiting .. for a while ;-) I wondered this a.m. How can I help.
And it hit me perhaps I am not here to help him but he is here to help me.
That is how it should be with everyone. Helping each other. Never think you know the reason for anything. My friend Carm said let 'Go and Let God.'
If you are not helping me then you are hurting me.
It is so easy to keep people down, negative comment, jabs and digs, said to sound innocent but cut like a knife.. Think before you speak. if you have nothing nice to say - DON'T SAY IT! It's that simple!

Try it. For now I shall enjoy the tasty treats with my live in chef and we shall help each other. I am blessed for this chance to make a positive difference.

Now - halloween is around the corner and you know what that means! NORMAN is driving me nuts! Cartoons to follow. Lots of visual blog material! Boo! BOOOOO Hoooo is more like it!

I try to go to church every Sunday. People ask me why...
Today, I went to mass and saw someone I have not seen for several months. She whispered in my ear and hugged me with so much love I felt it radiate directly through to my heart. It brought me to tears.
I have thought about that hug all day.

I go to church, not because I feel God needs me to. I go because I am surrounded by people who love me. I am surrounded by people who care and are there for me. I am reminded of Jesus and Gods love for me in more ways then one.

Why wouldn't I go?

Tomorrow our son will turn 18. 18 years ago I was given the most amazing gift I have ever got. A gift of unconditional love. For my son and from my son. A gift of many laughs and giggles. Of continued inspiration!
A gift of hope. For a better tomorrow and the courage and strength to go on. Thank God I was given the gift of a miracle of birth into my arms and heart. Every year has been better than the last!
Forever.
Being a mom has been the best thing to ever happen to me.

18 tomorrow.

I have a family member living with us now from BC. WHO happens to LOVE to cook! Yippie! And is quite good at it. So it's a win win. I am busy running a pals gallery while she tours France and Italy. I have had a few days off from drawing and quickly realize - it is not time off but time to re-think and re-group and plan future drawings and toons. I can't wait to get at the drawing desk.. and scan and load! Lock and load!

How blessed that I can take a break.. spend time with family and just take it one day at at time. I thank God for my husband/biggest fan/family provider that I have the freedom to relax. That is a blessing.

Back to the drawing board - tomorrow.

I had a wisdom tooth pulled today - easier said then done and I'm a little sore. Heaven forbid i can't talk to people!! GASP! I must rest for a busy day at the Gallery!
