KOWABUNGA! Did you ever think you would be so happy to hear those words!? ME NORMAL!? Thank you God! ;-) I will sleep better tonight then I have in months. I felt the vibes and prayers!
With such a crazy condition - it is easy to think the worse with it invading your life hourly without any control. BUT DARE not think it !
Sleep ... ;-))
I sit now with a smile on my face.

ANYHOW! ONWARD! A great day it started with a normal brain phone call. A PINK ginger-bread-man (I LOVE gingerbread men, I don't care if they are gay! I LOVE them all) to celebrate the good news. Thank you Shirley ;-) It was a very nice gesture! You remembered ;-))
Then some time with Storm . A walk, a talk and a drive. Always a pleasure.
Some nice e mail - thank you kisses and wishes. And now I draw!
My mind is lighter, my determination stronger, my heart bigger!'
My faith stronger!!

Each day is a new day .. with a new chance to get it right!
I am more convinced each day that Cannabis is a healing medicine.
I have lived and witnessed it as a medicine for the past 4 years.
What kind of a person would I be If I did not speak the truth.
SHARE our experience with others that it might help take away their pain!
Ease the suffering!!

I am not telling anyone to go out and smoke Cannabis! There are probably some people that should NOT smoke cannabis. Just like some people should NOT drink ALCOHOL - we all know a 'nasty' drunk.

I am saying look into it. You should look into everything.
Dr.s all over the world are now looking into it for peadractic medicine! THANK GOD is all I can say.

Someone asked me the other day .. any regrets? As it is such a controversial topic. Being worried about the legal aspects.

I am a mom first, always will be- yes I do worry.
YES I have regrets! THAT I DID not get it introduced to my son sooner!
PLEASE educate yourself! Look into it. As a mother you owe that to your child! Natural medicine. As an EARTHLING you owe it to yourself!!

No I will go draw. The best way I know how to get a point across.

I can only pray I am making some people smile (Laughter is the best medicine - then Cannabis) and think.

What to do while Waiting...

I've been waiting for a date. It is soon. it is hard not to think about something that you have no control over. I have several things I have no control over.

We all do.

But, what to do? Pretend? EAT, DRUNK & be Sad? Act, sleep, deny, cry, LIE?
I've done them all. Then I surrendered. It does not mean giving up. It means letting go. Admitting when you are not strong.
Use your gift.
What has God given you? I can draw. I can share. I can keep going.
I am blessed with a talent - but more, I am blessed with a supportive husband - who pays all the bills, and is still my biggest fan.
A love of my life son, who inspires me every day! EVERY DAY. I love him more as he gets older, and more mature and becomes a better person, because he wants to. I get to draw! I'm not syndicated - who cares! I am doing what I love, brings me peace and truly makes me happy.
I am blessed.

Get up! Draw! Cook for a homeless shelter! Crochet a blanket for a shelter!
Write a thank you letter to ANYONE for something! TALK! LISTEN! SHARE! SERVE. I refuse to give up. ;-)

P.S. I think the bible is really a great instruction book, it helps a lot.

I was thinking today . I use to be a POT SNOT. ANTI-CANNABIS huge and can admit now I was terrible wrong. Just ask Kathy and dale - a couple we use to hang out with . Dale liked to inhale and I told him he was an ass for it. It so many words. I remember fighting with him about it. Man did that one come back to bite me in the butt! I went from Pot Snot to Cannabis Advocate!
Then while googling for BBQ rib sauce ( all google got was auce) I landed at another cartoonist site! Who draws about God. Come on what are the odds!! Reminding me I am not alone! Inspired enough to get the sauce and make the ribs so I can come back and draw!

Met the nicest guy at the TY show and said I would do a toon drawing for him. Which I have done. I wrote down his e mail address wrong;-( Alittle bird with an axe... if you are out here aand you do read this. E ME!

Today was a day full of gifts! A GREEN laughing Buddha in the mail from MIKE! which I LOVE! Mike and the Buddha!!
Compliments about my cartooning from strangers and a few friends.
Another day to enjoy the sunshine and life in general. Who could ask for anything more.

drawing tonight and having trouble...

Just a tuff day. Although I blushed once ;-)
And got to spend some quality time with my son (always a good thing)
but stuff.. creeps in. So I ask God to help what shall I draw. Something Positive!
That might get us one step closer. Perhaps to just thinking about it.
And it came ! Just like that. Then I thought of words. A part that does not come easy. And I wanted to translate something to get another point across and it just sounds so nice! Doesn't it!?

Hell on Earth.

When one thinks about suicide ~if only for a second. That is Hell on earth. I know I have been there. And I pray to God that I do not get there again. When you feel that no one on this entire planet could love you. Or that you just let everyone down.. or you just can't cope! AND sometimes you get stuck down there! LIKE IT OR NOT.

To feel that sad. Alone is Hell on earth. COMPASSION is needed.

The only time we should look down on a man... it to help him up.

EVER. I have but one judge. Thank GOD I finally realized it.

If I ever do get that down...

I pray, I remember to be brave enough to ask for help up!

Sutton Fair & Drawing

I love the Sutton fair. It's a mini CNE ~ hee hee hee. I had a great time and met some really nice people! It is especially nice when some one comments on how they love my work. It usually takes me by surprise! Visually you can not help but be stimulated by the fair! People and places! Happy faces!

Do what you love...

Today, I've been drawing (I mostly prefer to draw in the evening) and I just can't help but feel blessed! I get lost when I draw. I am amazed myself at how some drawings just turn out! Without much thought (most times) they appear! As if magic.
I look at it and say - look at the flamingo! That flamingo came from memory. Or I realize I have drawn myself sitting with Jesus, just as I've imagined it. Once on paper it becomes a different reality. Then a fond memory.
The tooth is gone and i feel better! Nope, it did not have any effect on the twitch. But I still feel better ;-) Thank you God! I'll take what you give.
Back to the drawing board!

I've not been feeling well.
Some of you may have figured this out from some drawings.

I recently found out I have an infection in a tooth. I get it yanked on Tuesday! Although terrified of the dentist, I am looking forward to this with anticipation!
Perhaps it will be the cause of the pressure causing the twitch!
One can hope.
Like so many other people I just want to feel better.

You do not see new drawing everyday - some days I'm just too pooped to participate! ;-) BUT that does not mean I do not draw everyday.
I do! If only a doodle. I do.

Do what you LOVE. So Tuesday.......
Oh, it's not a front tooth - although that would make for a funny cartoon. Im glad it is at the back. Unseen by the rest of the world. HAVE a great holiday weekend for you that get it off tomorrow! xox <><
