Georgia ... On my Mind.        Thief.
Every now and then I see 'my art' on someone else's social media page with no credit to me. Taking compliments for my work- instead of redirecting people- "Check out Georgiatoons @ whatever..."  I have even seen people go so far as remove my name and enter in their own.
I very recently, saw one of my ideas almost re-drawn detail for detail  with a  few minor changes, the 'artist' took no credit (I guess not)- but 'the company' did for it's 'originality'.
At first I was in shock... slowly I felt a 'smile materialize across my face- like the Grinch,  a  pathetic attempt to steal my idea - without the talent - please.
I am owning it.  I DID create it. 
Did it get more 'likes' than mine? Yes. lol -  more people.  That's how it works. 
It won't make me give up.
All it does is show me who is paying attention & trying to make attempts at being - ME.
Am I wrong?  I am the only 'Georgia Toons.

Talent. Yes. I work hard. I paint EVERY day, all day-  It is a skill like any other.  
Go ahead, try. You can't steal my creativity or talent.  

It is stealing and it means: 
          YOU LACK imagination & morals.

simply, you are a thief like every other petty thief,  taking what does not belong to you.

Re draw my idea with a few tweaks": Thief.
Re-use my work and take credit: Thief and someone will let me know sooner or later.

It has me wondering about instagram - again to share or not to share. 
My goal is to educate, hopefully make people smile & think.
It won't happen if I do not share. 

I am in the process of working on a couple projects,  out in time for next year. I finally feel- 'strong enough to focus on a few of these projects. Guaranteed to make every cannabis enthusiast smile. Never before seen ART.  I paint all day - every day, you don't see 1/2.  I'm getting better every day, ideas and painting- while thieves surf on line and seal others ideas. That is how it will always be.  

I feel 'wonderful, elated, powerful & passionate when creating.
A Thief will never feel the same stealing.

Encouraged by the American government when they outfit them for one - as if they are ARMY.  It is a mental thing. TOO many Americans are o.k. with all this, until what?
Until it happens to them.   Guns should be taken away in the USA and start with the cops.
& the cops working with them who go along with it are EQUALLY as guilty. When you see them beat a drunk, shoot a mentally ill man and THE cuff him!?  & then clean up all the evidence - no wonder people are shooting the police.  No wonder americans don't want to lose their guns.  ;(

Imagine the children now who are witnessing all this brutality- in the future there will be so much hatred towards the police- once thought of as 'heroes and defenders'... now sneaks and murderers.

As a matter of fact the second panel - I know that little girl who had that fucking  gun held to her head. FIRST hand. my friend Todd still in jail.. where all these dirty cops should be but never go. THAT IS the crime committed against America.

DIRTY, Nasty, evil people - who are not in the job for he right reason - & get this- DO YOU FORGET?  Do you understand... YOU PAY THEM?    When you see the men (mostly) who are cops .. abuse some people like they do, hit cuffed people who can not defend themselves and others watch. There are no words for these people that I can think of  with out hatred welling inside me.
I don't know what the solution is, first de-militarize the intimidating police power shit....  Donald Trump wants to build a wall  which makes me think a lot of Mexicans are thrilled.  

I'm focusing on  getting a few acres somewhere so I can invite my American friends to come up, hang out, be creative! & DE fucking stress... I know I get stressed with life- Imagine being aa American with Donald trump possibly as the next president - YIKES!!!
You must leave their guns at home btw.
I'll have one gun for 'bear protection' if necessary. that's it. lol

I read something was happening on isntagram and have watched the death tolls steadily climb all morning. COWARDS.
Storm reminds me 'These are people who have grown up seeing bombs drop their entire life and have seen family & friends killed countlessly. They are confused & have nothing to lose... raised to believe in a hateful, hurtful religion and education has been suppressed.' 
I love my son, still  he agrees 'cowards might be the right word'
Mentally ill, but not enough to know what they are doing.  COWARDS.

I watched a clip the other day where a  woman was commenting  'stop blaming the West, we have been  slaughtering each other for before the United States even existed.  She also comments on how bad treatment is  to have your hand cut off, stoned in the streets, don't get me started on how they treat women. Yes, no wonder they do not have any respect or value for human lives. To witness this 'as a common 'way to treat each other, can only cause people to grow up ANGRY.
I truly do feel sorry for them.  I have researched this topic for cartoons I draw- they do have it terrible - BUT look at the numbers- and do NOT blame a race, culture, religion, country for the acts of a FEW  NASTY COWARDS.
Sick Cowards who want to hurt innocent people. 

Another thing, I know thoughts of suicide... MILLIONS have committed and will still & think about suicide daily, YET NEVER do they think of harming others.
JUST like every person who owns a gun does not go on a shooting rampage.

They need to be 'GLORIFIED' as what they truly are.
COWARDS.   Not felt sorry for or as 'victims'.
Not what they 'think' they are - or what other 'like them' think they are - they are nothing more than Puppet Cowards.  They have no respect for anyone or anything on the planet.
That terrorist in Russia who cut off that babies head a couple of weeks ago -  I wish she committed suicide before she killed that poor baby.
She is nothing more than a SICK coward who is using life as an excuse for being miserable, who takes it out on poor innocent victims. Coward waited until the parents left. Coward. Coward walks down the street blaming others for her act of hatred.  

Educate others on what they are. 
Do not blame the masses for the occasional murdering madman/woman.
Forgive me for my judgement today. I AM ONLY HUMAN.
One that does not believe in slaughtering other humans... I am not one to pass judgement or try to understand why..  but boy oh boy it's hard to see/hear & ignore.

Sunday we had a trip to the city planned, visit a few stores and see a couple of friends.
I had it in my mind how the day would go.  It went another way.
Storm and I had a good day and did see some people we have not seen in a while,  & it was great to say Hello and catch up a bit.
But the day had an event that really stuck in my head. Enough to draw it.

I suggested to Storm that we find an outdoor patio so that I could medicate. Which was badly needed. Young st. was busy - what else is knew... the level of poor was new, to me anyhow. Everything you see in the cartoon is TRUE and more.  It was a visual smorgasbord!   

The color, the people, the noise were slightly overwhelming as it is but when we finally found an empty patio and had just ordered a coffee, was about to medicate, I heard this strange beeping...  you know s sound you know but are not sure where....

I turned to see a woman in a hospital gown, no shoes on her feet... walking towards us - with an IV pole - she was hooked up. The blood backed up into the line connecting to her arm.  The machine on the IV pole beeping! 

I instantly thought of TIFF and thought it might be some stunt.. 
She walked right where we were sitting, when an EMT worker pulled up beside her and started to question her. We were sitting right beside her.

He was nice and asked her where she was going, he said she had walked 5 km from a hospital?!  5 km and no one stopped her? No one asked her where she was going or what she was doing. ;(  The conversation continued and he expressed concern about the IV Pole  stating a few times “it’s worth about $3,000...  “  I was thinking - buddy - she is in her hospital gown in the middle of young street attached to an IV POLE do you think she was thinking about the cost?

Well a couple of police cars later... she had slid down the railing where we were sitting almost within touching distance.. she did turn and say “sorry”

I told her she had no need to apologize.  I felt bad for her. She was here from Alberta, no family, at a shelter and sick., She had a bad infection and was in the hospital to get better. It is great in this country she can be treated!  I get it bout the IV Pole.. but really? What has played on my mind is the fact that he got so far. How sad. :( So many people just ignoring everything. stepping over the poor liek they re trash on the street. 

I bet people looked at her  when she was not looking and they thought she must be crazy. Who is cray? THOSE who see and do NOTHING are the closest to mad there is. No compassion.

I did not leave, We sat there. I at one point thought the conversation might have gone differently if she were alone. The other officer made a point about asking her is she had been in trouble and  also the cost of the Pole.
Then they talked about how they needed bigger cars. 

An ambulance finally arrived and she had to go back. Back to where she was so very tired of.  I don’t have the answers. Better security at the hospitals?

This cartoon is full of mental illness. Alcohol abuse. Sexual obsession,  Shopaholics. The rich and the poor. People together but a great percentage alone.  Many on phones. Obese people getting more obese on the takeout  Blvd. as they stroll past a woman begging for food. 

Everyone in their own world. 
NOT.   

WE ARE here TOGETHER!  One day that might be you! 

What is happening to you Toronto? Not the city I know and loved. 
That could easily be someone's sister or mother. 
I talked it over with a friend who work in the city and she said “you see so much so often you just learn to turn your head.”

I don’t think that is what Jesus meant when he said ‘Turn the other cheek’.

Oh,  I read FLUFF!!  
LOL My friend Cathy wonders how we can be friend with the 'stuff' that I tell her I read- much of it for 'work/inspirtion' can be from political to plant life.  BUT in BETWEEN I read Fluff!!  My next is a book from Cathy about the beach and love..  sounds like good stuff fluff to me.

I got a new bike! LOL 
My glee has me peddling my behind all over town! Between cabin fever, issues with walking/balance - not driving-  Well, I can drive and very recently we were considering a smart car, but for the amount of time I actually HAVE to go places, I'd rather not.  Save some money, gas, insurance and more.... but I need to have some freedom so when my friend Cathy mentioned she rides her bike all over - I thought fantastic! But again there is that issue with balance..
