My Valentine Gift to YOU!

'I love you' in the sense I care for all humans.. but I do love a few human in particular!
I plan on showing them with a tiny little valentine! hee hee
Just like I have shown all of you my love- by sharing here today!
A FREE printable download!
Cut, Color & Convey your love! Tell someone or leave it anonymously... let someone anyone know they are loved or at the very least - appreciated!

Simply, Print the cards. *I HIGHLY reccomend gluing the sheet of paper onto a card stock or thin piece of cardboard- the type from a cereal box works best! Recycle! Glue, leave overnight to dry- then COLOR! I love this part. Cut down the middle and in-between each card, write a tiny note on the back and deliver!
Either by hand or mail if you glued it to a cardboard stock- no problems!
You see I made a sample below- mailing it out-- who will get it?
You never know - one who gets my heart beating faster, last time I checked Christopher Waltz was still married. Brad is now single though BUT I am quite fond of this rockstar...

While I ponder away... You too, can now play!

No Text Tag! Text tag or Toe tag?
I have been with my son and on occasion he uses his phone when driving.. looking at and responding to a text. I explain how much it bothers me - he is my one son and I read, see about it accidents all the time now. I don't' want him hurt.
I have watched others do it as well - Adults. Many of them.

Rather than words I've made these little tags.
I'm going to carry them in my purse and when I see or am with a driver who uses their phone - I'm going to hang a tag of their rear view mirror ;) I can imagine the response now. It's something. I hope
I've included a free download for you to do the same.
Moms & dads put them in the car the kids are using and visa versa.

Plant

Here is the first coloring sheet designed in mind for kids. Little kids. Big kids too, always.
Lets start with the little ones ... plant the seed early.
Clear and to the point. When a child asks: What is it?
Please consider for a moment, simply saying: a Plant.
It is truly that simple - IF we were forced to categorize 'it' we would indeed call it just that: Plant.

We over complicate enough for children as it is.
The next thing I would teach: It will not kill you. Unlike other plants.
We do not want them to poison themselves and die- this is why I would educate them on those plants first - and cannabis wouldn't be on that list- first might be deadly: Lily of the Valley- anyday now.

Tell them the truth.
Many people all around the world use this PLANT for a Natural Medicine and they have since the days of the mummy, possibly more. Most medicines are made from plants and just like all medicine, it should be used with some care & caution.

Then, I would let go and let them ask all the questions. I kept this drawing simple ( I have more complicated coming for the older coloring fans with a little Buddha vibe going on) this drawing has endless discussion possibilities and I've listed a few below:

-The sun and how it helps plants grow.
-Butterflies and their importance in the garden of life!
-Cannabis buds and how tasty they can be, some slightly peppery. * before I have any parents on my back about kids eating bud- please we cant get them to eat broccoli and it can be very peppery.
-How many sections does the leave have?
-What SEASON do you think is?
-Did you know - snails have teeth?
-Where do snails live?
-Do ladybugs bite?
-Why are ladybugs good in the garden?
-How many legs does this long bug have?
-How old are worms?
-What do worms do?
-How do roots work?
-Spell the word PLANT...

Anytime you sit in conversation with your children will never be a wasted moment, especially if we are teaching them to be better, non judgemental beings, and try to forgive those that put their parents in jail for a PLANT.

This turned out to be a neat little Adventure!
A is for..
I giggled when I read Karen Watermelon thought to add 'Auburn Apron', who else!?
The thing is some words you can't really see like 'acrylic' nails. Awesome, adventurous, Amanda the Aardvark!! Amore, Antonio the armadillo!
Have fun try to guess them All...
I did learn about Ardvarks! A.K.A. 'Earth Pigs'. Made me smile.

B will will have to wait. Because I need a boredom BREAK. lol
I'm playing with watercolor the next few days.

A is for....
I'm not there yet! I skipped and drew a F is For Fox on January the first, in fabulous footwear with a frog feasting on fried fungi! & MORE!
I had a peaceful time thinking & painting the fox on wood I just finished.
I don't know where to hang it..lol I believe it will be a gift in the future for someone.
Beautiful creatures, I think of the best of both - a cat and a dog combined... it's a cartoonist thing. Last time Storm was away camping in bear country he had a 'friend Fox' who came and sat on the opposite of the camp fire at night. It was incredible to see & quite the experience for him. He felt blessed, alone just him and his fox, it also stayed around during the day - curious. I think it was still just a pup.
In Japan they have place full of foxes! I might visit it one day - when I go and visit my friend Yasunori Abe, we met an an TY EXPO a few years ago and are now pen-pals. I am so honoured he takes the time to write to me and read my letters. He does not speak English.
He is on my mind - I started a letter today.
I believe foxes beautiful, peaceful, creatures with a real natural playful side!
Not to mention WOW! Fiery Red fox! An artist delight.
I have a drawing soon with them and a beautiful quote. 3 days work no doubt.
I think if it works out and FB helps... I'll ask for Assistance for A and each letter After.
I will have the A B C coloring pages ready for download soon! They will be tagged ABC!!
You can go and download the entire alphabet - if you so desire.
I'm also going to color them for a complete finished book in the end.

*Dear friends who get my e mails and read my blog... I apologize for all my mistakes.
I just reread an e mail to a friend and I see mistakes. Like I said: Canadian and Canadian & I meant to say Canadian and American. ;( & simple things, I write 'who instead of 'how.
I often see I don't type the "t' in 'the'.. stuff. No matter how many times I proof read - I don't see them, It brings me down. I know they know, I am not well but all the same... it gets to me.

Now, I remember I am blessed - because I am about to go and finish tomorrows cartoon!

Little Buddy Bookmark!

Here it is - a little Budy Bookmark!
I hope you download the image, let your kids create - all the while you can talk about such topics like:
-Plants, safe & poisonous
-Medicine, man made & natural
-Drugs, alcohol, chemical, abuse, recreational.
- long term side effects and consequences... because the facts are out there.
***If the government says kids can need to be educated about sex in grade one - then please EDUCATE them on drugs and making choices that can effect the rest of THEIR lives.
-Judgement, "they don't look sick" <teach them to avoid saying and why.
Or staring at someone WHO does look illl - treat them like everyone. Or help them.
-Coloring! It does not matter if you go outside the lines - little things.
-Creativity.. get it out with art rather than aggression.
-Empathy - teach them that it should not matter what anyone uses to make themselves feel better- especially if they are not harming anyone else.
-Thankful.. thankful we are in a Country where we can express ourselves & explore our options! & We have a government that cares about it's people.
The types of conversations around these bookmarks can be limitless.
*I was concerned about any children that might get asked NOT to use them (perhaps by someone at school) well, if thats the case I guess they can contact me and I will share my opinion. ;) Happily.

I am making my bookmarks today but have a busy day and week ahead.. so they might not get done today.. I will let you know when and will mail out mine with a winner of postcards drawn on FB next week.... (hint, hint)
I did have someone make the last and send me photos and her comic & little bonus is on the way with this weeks mail! See them below! It made me smile to see them! THANK YOU!
All we need is one person to do these sort of things and it keeps us artists/humans going.

Please Educate your children before someone else does.

I suggest:
Print on card stock if you can.. *if not check out * below.
Color then cut out! Cur with scissors the thick black lines.
Carefully with an exacto knife/boxcutter the - - - - - - dotted lines
1.color and cut out
2.color cut and exact cut.
3 color cut our punch a hold and add some string and a bead for a tiny bookmark - come back to see mine in a day or two!
Above all eel Have some fun, think happy thoughts and give thanks we have Cannabis in our life!
I am thankful for it, hourly if not more.

*Glue coloring sheet to a thin piece of cardboard (like a cereal box) Recycle!
Squeeze out access glue with a card - like a debit card - let dry for a day.
Color when dry! & follow other steps!

Note.. My little seed asks 'Do you believe in God?' I say: "me too"
This is my personal opinion, it just happened. lol
This can also be a time to discuss God, Faith and what you believe or do not believe.
I don't care. I am not your judge.
Believe in what makes you happy and a better human.
I do feel children that believe in something - especially themselves will succeed further and happier in this life.

I love to READ! It is how I start every day.
I love to encourage reading & crafting & cartooning & coloring!
I have combined them all & wanted to know If I could offer it as a FREE download off
of my website... Here it is!
I drew the book marks, printed on card stock colored, cut out and you can see I am using my own book marks!
All you have to do is click on the image below and it should open a better quality image that you can print and color yourself!
