I can't always physically kiss people- obviously, but it does not stop me from thinking about them, sending them love...  and praying (truly) they feel better, blessed & loved.

Lift off!  How I feel every morning with my first bong hit & pray it works as fast as can be.
I have been smoking/consuming what's called 'Grape Escape' and I feel  outstanding.. out of this world. Thank God & my Grower...   who is now on Instagram btw:

This little bud is just the explorer' - the 'mars rover' of buds for a different painting. I wondered how to put him in space suit, wonder no more.   Is this cannabis causing me to think about aliens- no,  it's the program - Ancient Aliens, I find it rather fascinating and do believe, simply because of all the unexplained technology/art/culture/architecture  from the past.  Tasks accomplished THEN we still can not accomplish today without advanced machinery.   Alone in Universe,  I don't think so.

I believe as with all medications from time to time our bodies need a jolt- a switch up from from our regular routine.  How wonderful we are able to accomplish this with the switch of a  plant strain- unlike medications that take literally months - just to get off of- in order to try another.  I am loving this switch up.  Painting till 2a.m.  most night back a it a  6/7 a.m.  yes, I nap in the afternoon- I prefer to say recharge- and sometimes I don't nap - I think of ideas to paint.  I am grateful from my daily grape escapes.  

Dream of other worlds! Let your imagination explore! You might come up with a  little bud in a space suit - you might come up with a new cookie recipe! Inspired by cannabis & love- we will not fail.

I like Big Buds & I cannot lie! 
Who doesn't?  
Sure all bud is good bud- but to see the beauty in an actual BIG bud...
WOW!  
Although dry, the tiny crystals still catch my eye. 
Time to break up this big bud & put it in my big bong & have a BIG toke to get his BIG day started.  Just like some take  pills and wait for them to "kick in", I have a puff & wait a FEW seconds  then I'm ready to stretch, feed the Blue jays, dogs and get some chores done!
Then I'll need another one.    
I like Big buds &  can not lie!!

* Yesterday, I read a news story  first thing and started to sob, it had me question my faith in humanity.  I blogged a very short sentence..  'some people fucking suck.' & yes, I still believe - some just do. Today again, shitty people doing terrible things to each other, strangers, friends, family all hurting each other.  I know.  
What the fuck is wrong with us humans?  
I deleted it.  
                            I apologize for my momentary lack in faith.

If you can’t paint after watching this man, countless times- all available online for free - as I did while painting this bud,  Isn’t he  a talented little Bud?  A Budding Artist you might say!! lol 
You can see how he holds the pallet like a Pro, not to mention the tiny happy tree on the  tiny canvas. 

You can also watch on Netflix - where I squeeze in the occasional episode - usually alone, break time- but still want to keep inspired- Bob is the man. His voice is as calming as his brush strokes, except when ‘it gets a beating! “Beat the devil out of it!”  

Unquestionably, he makes me a better painter after every episode!
I watch him make a simple path- with a twist of his brush, perhaps “A happy accident…” - it become a trail deer might trod on.  Bob  helps us escape as well as paint.   Helps us relax. 
No wonder the man is a success.

How Low can they Go? I don’t know… pretty low. 
Changing the rules & laws to suit what ever works best for an already established corrupt Administration. Rise Up.  WE Stay High. 
Cannabis is here to stay.
Getting angry only gets people thrown in jail and gives the “Authority’ reason to shoot your dogs, as any dog lover knows - any loving dog will defend their master & sense the threat - so, many good dogs are going to die I’m afraid in the future, in the USA.  
A Good time for people to think about investing in the dog bite prevention kits, with my illustrations & puppy training - help prevent any event from harming a family member. 

When they Go Low - STAY HIGH. I don’t mean - sofa surfing the latest celebrity gossip on T.V. high. Educate! Yourself or someone on any topic that you are passionate about.  Hopefully, one will be Cannabis awareness. If Cannabis helps you feel better,  stay HIGH but stay active, creative and inspired.  Terrible news all the time can tear down the soul, throw in daily aches and pains, mental & physical, next you’re exhausted and not even enjoying all that you work so hard to accomplish. 
Stay Hi - when it helps you past the PTSD. 
Stay HIGH when dealing with chronic pain & even when dealing with a broken heart.. as many do starting the new year - it’s not healthy - so get HIGH, in  2016 you had a good cry - NOW get busy.  Heal thyself.  

This year... 
Chase your dreams not people, those who are meant to be in our lives will be.

I took steps to become better in 2016 was somewhat successful, when I sit, meditate, think positive thoughts about pleasant experiences & people - I had a smile on my face and everything seemed better… slowly.  I felt better, looked better and twitched less. Fact. 
It was work, I kid you not.  lol  I plan on working at it more this year.

I know what I need to focus on in 2017, more painting.  How about you?

I have no issues asking questions when I hear false statements  and ask:

On my mind.. I wrote a blog yesterday, went to make a correction then accidently deleted & was too tired to do over. lol   I have my christmas card list complete- all 100! I didn't think I had that many but the list came to us without and struggle- friends, family, Dr.s, business friends - even a movie star.. lol  It was a pleasurable experience sitting and thinking of everyone in our life who has 'touched' us one way or another.  

It is yet another grey day here in Ontario - wtf.
Glad I am NOT in B.C. I believe they do get worse winters than us.. I'll stay in Ontario.  
On a postivie note- what better to do on grey days- than paint!? Today It will be this Proverb:

                               Surround Yourself with those that Raise You HIGHer!!

In real life &  online surround yourself with those that raise you up!  Who inspires you to think,  create,  who makes you laugh?  Who puts a SMILE on your face?  
We can't always be laughing but there are some people who make us feel at ease & those who do not.  I know a few... just thinking of them - tightens my neck muscles.. lol - others- loosen them right up.
I can 'see' an e amil from a friend & instantly there will be a SMILE on my face before I even open it,  that is an example of who you 'surround' yourself with.  
Who does that for you?   'What does' that for you counts as well!
  
I am surrounded by love, mostly with 4 legs - but it counts-  they make me laugh, snuggle on these cold grey days and show me  continous unconditional love & I can not forget the occassonal flutter fly by love tap.   Pets are wonderful reminders of livinging in the moment.

Cannabis raises me up as well, it lifts my spirits & eases my pain,  my sons and millions more.  I surround myself with it.  
I smoke it, eat it, drink it, draw & paint about it. 
Many of my friends are involved with it. 
Our path was made long before we decided to walk it.
I thank God - the Universe & my grower for it.   

Give thanks  & surround yourself with those that raise you HIGHer!

another 'grey day' here in Ontario.. good day to paint!

Kiss me under a thousand stars..    
I was listening to the song and suddenly these bears appeared.  
I'm not sure where they are coming from, I'm not overly fond of bears...  at least I don't think I am.  
I know, I really dispise seeing them shot.  

They look terrific on a dark background. I love to paint fur.. and when I think Canada- I think 'bear' over.. elephant or lion. These bears are all about Love.  It's that simple.  
 Just happy to be together.  ​Looking, waiting, longing.

I added Bud because it was late when I was painting, my hand sore but I just  'filled' a BIG blunt- 'Palm papers' I tried (pre -rolled so you just fill it) Storm does not like the smell, I'm not overly keen other than the ease.  BUT I smoked it*, put on my headphones - turned up the tunes..  I felt great and just kept painting until I became too tired. Not too sore.  
What do you do about arthritis?
I do take an anti inflamatory - when 'I feel' I need it.  
Cannabis also helps I believe with assisting the 'mental ability', which keeps us from focusing on our pain but instead allows us to keep focused on passion.  All kinds ;) 
I'snt that what a medicine should do?  Isn't that what love does?

Focus on your passion & it will surly bloom! 

* I do smoke my bong in my office with Bird- and he does not seem to mind, as a matter of fact- I think he enjoys it, he likes to fly around in the evening - little show off that he is! & sings more.   BUT I do NOT smoke a full blunt in the same room - I leave.  I dont want to hotbox bird ;) 
It's nice to think of others...  no?

For every single person who has shared, reposted, talked about (good & bad), glanced at, printed, mailed & e mailed any of my drawings. Thank you.  Each time - bringing ALL of US one step closer to ending the negative stigma attached to cannabis as a medicine.

I started drawing to educate 10 years ago- when at 14 Storm had his first bong hit and his pain was no longer controlling him- he became master & controller of it. No more tylenol, codine or morphine to constantly consider. I thank God & the universe for the cannabis plant daily!

Inspired by love & we did not want parents who were already dealing with a sick child  have to deal with some of the 'BULLSHIT' we had to.  As well as be informed it was in FACT helping with chronic bone pain, that NOTHING was able to do as well & keep our son happy & healhty & active.  We decided to share, because of the loss of judgemental family & friends to the constant questions and concerns raised by othes - including myself at times, AND the politics of it all.  Health Canada Horror stories & fear mongering rampant in our own country, never mind any place else in the past 10 years -Good riddance, to a hateful, harmful government here in Canada.  Welcome Justin, who will legalize. be patient people.

Cananbis has introduced us to a new world, literally, one filled with compassonate & understanding people,  ready to be laughed at and shunned for thier love of a plant.  People who refuse to sit back and watch all day- instead, they draw, talk, protest, bake, blog, bulldoze & blunder thier way through to make a differnence, and they do.  
I am very thankful for them.

We have also met a few 'heavy hitters' in this industry and I am thankful for them, they fight the legal battles and go to bat for the millions who cannot due to lack of  health or finance. Many have been fighting for years and yes- it too can take a toll on thier health. 
We've made many friends ;) thank you...  all around the world!  Thank You!
Friends who showed us the ropes, taught us a few tricks, took us under their wings and more. Thank You.  
A enemy or two had been made a long the way I've no doubts. YOU will never please everyone & I am grateful for them as well - they teach the the most dificult lessons - each time helping make me stronger in the process.  More determined.

Every person who has taken the time to read  this blog and ignored my continued spelling & grammar errors!  I know how difficult it is for many, there too should be a lesson, if you are judge'n me bi my spellin, with out understanding - you have too much time on your hands.
& just like judging someone for wanting to choose cannabis over  pills - we are no better.
I try to only judge 'myself' at the end of  each day. That alone is enough.

What do  you think Queen Elizabeth 1 did when she had her period & cramps?
Did she Reach for the Tylenol?  Which has NOW been proven linked to  several deaths.  
​No, she 'called' for  cannabis instead. FACT.   
Chances are she did not smoke it but drank it in a tea... much like I do at bedtime.
I still wake up easily if I hear any noise & I'm always refreshed  in the morning with no  'hang over'.  

Queen Elizabeth 1 was impressive as is this  current Queen,  it is not a job I would want - even with the benefits. Cannabis therefore, the  'QUEEN of plants'  for assisting in easing the body & brain is far from dead.

Tell me- what do you think Mona used for her pain? Or the artist for that matter? 
I'm sure they had aches and pains and KNOW they weren't pulling out the Oxycontin to assist with it.  Cannabis was first documented as making  an appearance in  China.. before Christ.  Research it  if you are curious - it's quite interesting!   No deaths.

I read earlier today Israel has developed the first metered dose inhaler.  NOW, I believe this is good because, it will make cannabis easily available for children I hope &  for those that still have this  brain washed fear of cannabis - they will try it- and therefore be using a less harmful- better effective medicine. More Adults and children will be introduced to it. More removed from the proven  deadly other medications.  That being said- a 'controlled  does' for someone who has chronic pain, why?  Will they overdose if they feel too good?   I don't believe so.  If it is a suspected 'drug abuser'  (I'm not sure what I think about this term any  longer)  -  just like any other - it will have to be addressed.  WE CAN't keep putting all 'us apples' in the same bunch!  Let's address drug addiction on a new level while we are at it and HELP those who struggle most.

With this new research will come a new attitude and legalization across Canada at least,  then the USA might follow and  the new industry will explode!
Who will go to the lengths of growing let alone be able to afford it with Hydro becoming what it is?  Did they anticipate the legalization of cannabis .. Hmmmmmm, I wonder. lol Will everyone quit their job and start to grow? Hardly, most people by then will go to the new 'Cannabis friendly shop &  for many reasons!   Affordability, ease, choice, safety,  variety, experience, knowledge, accessories  & MORE & they will go to whom ever is doing it best.    Simple.   It is a big market  that will be able to fill every 'niche'!  

Now, how about we fucking focus on world hunger, human trafficking, child abuse,  poverty, racism, online abuse, alcohol abuse, birth control, life education skills, global warming, animal abuse,  animal consumption,  obesity, suicide rates with veterans, elderly abuse, elderly over medication, texting & dying...

On a positive note, I feel better after a thoughtful evening and long sleep. Thanks to a Medicated turmeric tea before bed with honey, cinnamon and hemp/almond milk & medicated coconut oil.  I think the bluejays were up before me today!

Good Day! It's another grey day here in Canada and  week of the same weather ahead, great week to paint! This is terrific as today I am starting a new painting, not that large but it's going to be detailed & significant of ..?.. emotions I'm trying to portrait, does this make any sense to anyone but me? hahaha - I'm anticipating a weeks worth of painting.
The magnificent beast!   lol - I might just call it that! 

Today I'm feeling a bit blue.. weather, life & longing...  for what I'm not even sure some days.  Change - because I know it is coming and needed. 
I feel like being 'quiet', this is not always a good thing..   lol   so it's time to paint.
I will be painting these 'little buds' in between- because they do make me smile & every one brings us one step closer to normalizing cannabis, the more it is seen - in a 'positive' light the better it is.  This one fun-  I'm going to paint a few other 'artist' inspired buds and see if people on IG or Fb can guess 'who it is'. hee hee hee    *she is already a gift to a Frida fan.
I believe Frida must have consumed, I hope she did - for her pain if anything else.

Cannabis legalization is here to stay.. I was thinking- there is no way they can try to turn back time or decisions made regarding cannabis- you wanna see a revolt- that would do it.  
Cannabis is spreading across the USA in a great way.   
Actually, thanks to social media- cannabis is spreading across the world in a great way- I was just on Instagram and noticed something- there are some  SERIOUSLY professional, beautiful cannabis pages out there. I noticed a lovely company in Canada with chickens,  trees, nature- and thought- I'd buy from them. It's that simple. BE professional. Organic medicine - farm grown it appears. Nice. 

So delighted to see this industry- STEP away from bongs and boobs and grass on some girls ass.  This is our medicine, for many.   YES, there are some lovely ladies out there, posing with cannabis and small undies- o.k., why not - they have the bod...  please ladies, be the brain first,  said with TLC & THC. :) Of course there are pages still for the 'stoner mentality'- boobs, bongs, babes.. fine,  some of the 'joke' posts - are really funny and crack me up.  To each his own.  I will say though  I KNOW - when I started 10 years ago that is all 'it' was, even Canada's own 'Skunk magazine has come along way, which at the time I'd rather not have my comics in,  it was a decision I made- to try and take cannabis the other direction in my own way. Glad I did to this day. The other direction is becoming more and more inviting! 

Educate someone today! Introduce them to a new, positive, enticing  "page" on social media
there are more and more out there! OH- AND I am noticing a few compassion clubs/dispensaries that are taking positive actions by offering food drives, sock drives, discounts for veterans, seniors day! F*ck yes!
Why not?   It is AWESOME to see and I THANK you!
