                               Surround Yourself with those that Raise You HIGHer!!

In real life &  online surround yourself with those that raise you up!  Who inspires you to think,  create,  who makes you laugh?  Who puts a SMILE on your face?  
We can't always be laughing but there are some people who make us feel at ease & those who do not.  I know a few... just thinking of them - tightens my neck muscles.. lol - others- loosen them right up.
I can 'see' an e amil from a friend & instantly there will be a SMILE on my face before I even open it,  that is an example of who you 'surround' yourself with.  
Who does that for you?   'What does' that for you counts as well!
  
I am surrounded by love, mostly with 4 legs - but it counts-  they make me laugh, snuggle on these cold grey days and show me  continous unconditional love & I can not forget the occassonal flutter fly by love tap.   Pets are wonderful reminders of livinging in the moment.

Cannabis raises me up as well, it lifts my spirits & eases my pain,  my sons and millions more.  I surround myself with it.  
I smoke it, eat it, drink it, draw & paint about it. 
Many of my friends are involved with it. 
Our path was made long before we decided to walk it.
I thank God - the Universe & my grower for it.

Into the forest I go.. to lose my mind and find my soul!
This applies more to my son that it does to me, Storm walks his dog 'Daisy every day - and long walks - sometimes 2! He takes her around town or to the forest and they alwasy both come home in a better mood than when they left! lol   Storm is usually in a good mood anyhow- it takes a lot to get him Off his path. Thank God. His roots are strong as well as his mind.  He has his favorite girl by his side, she doesn't plays mind games - or ask for fancy gifts.. lol   No wonder Dogs are mans best friend.  Mine too.

And onto my drawing desk I go, to lose my mind and find my soul!

All these painting are small.. 5 inches in diameter I guess.  They take me roughly still approximatly 2 hours,  but mostly it is simply to force myself to warm UP. When I have 'artist block'- I pick a  quote & draw it, and If I'm really stuck - I say to myself - the first thing you see on PIN you draw  & I DO.  No mental blocks, not allowed. I am an artist! I dont have mental blocks.. I refuse.

& IT works!!!  Storm will be amazed, he will come in my office- I'll have no idea what Im drawing and 15 minutes later he sees 'it' appear and I make myself finish!  These tiny little treasures are more than a great way to start- or finish my day- they help me THINK, sort and DREAM.  Currently a painting sits in the other room waiting for me to finsih it, taking the bulk of my time - I love every second. A special painting for a friend.  It has a mind of its own as well... I was painting and  I looked up and my figure has turned into the sun!  Not intentional - my heart took over I guess.   FORCE yourself.

Has anyone told you lately?  You are Mer-Mazing!
Playing with paint as I work on a bigger acrylic, one I don't know if I'll share. 
I'm really into this 'brush stroke' on black thing-- interesting.
It's got a very powerful, heads on wtf attitude appeal I have finally finished the chalk sketching.  Believe it or not- I do not share quite a few painting.. for different reasons.  

I'm on  a mission if you didn't know- tho.  Bring awareness to cannabis in any way, I can.
Normalize.  Help if possible in Ending  the insanity. 
It is said cannabis helps in assisting with creativity!   What do you think?
To be honest I've always been creative, for as long as I can remember and terrible at numbers, history, geography, lol...   who cares! I am having fun 'if only in my mind' at the moment -  Isn't that the most important place?   So  Yes, I am sure it does inspire creativity - I find I can 'think' of many things  when 'high'  but at times it also can inspire a nap! lol 
You make creativity happen. Make creativity happen. Start with a  pencil and paper.

OUCH!!   Happy Halloween!
Laughter is the best medicine and this made me giggle all the way to the silver details! 
Then, I watched the movie again for fun.  
Edward Scissor hands would make by far the best bud trimmer around, imagine the possibilities!  Have a safe Halloween.  No crazy clown crap please.  lol

I decided to include cannabis in most drawings if not everyone from now on.
Plant the seed, bring constant awareness to this plant.
Feeling slightly festive- having bit of Halloween fun in-between other works.
Yesterday, I sent the day on a special paining doing much thinking... cannabis heals, it brings peace. Advocates who have died and were passionate about cannabis and the education of it. Thank you.  Educate anyway you can.
Storm has a PAX portable vaporizer btw and likes it.. me too.  
I wonder if they have them in purple. ;)

Tomorrow I'm getting a hair cut! It's time. Chop it off.  lol

Tomorrow Count Dabula... with cannabis. 

I like to say "I have an assistant"- who assist me and it's been a blessing this summer!
I was telling a friend I needed help, with all sorts of stuff, finding art, hanging art in the office, sorting the paint room and was at a loss.. she said "ask that girl at the coffee shop,  she likes your cartooning!"  Jessie, she had drawn me that cute little 'get sconed'.. what did I have to lose?  I asked she said "YES!"   I explained the deal, we would barter *as I do with many, for art lessons, original art - what ever.  She showed up an  we instantly hit it off. How could you not like her?    
I can't help but think of her as a firecracker- petite with red hair but huge on personality and talent!  We had a drawing lesson, more to see what she was capable of and I soon realized she was quick to pick up what ever I showed her & has what many do not-  the imagination to go with!   & her own distinctive style already- even if she does not realize it.  Next an introduction to gouache & sure enough her first sample, painted in her own time blew me away.. Check out the cute little bag she made for  the 'coffee scrubs':

After only a quick introductory lesson?? I didn't know if wanted to smack her or hug her! 
lol..  I get this way when I meet someone with artistic talent and find out they are not using it,  how does everyone not eat, breath and sleep art, I don't know.   ;) 
Jessie has joined me up at the cottage,  there too she was incredibly helpful and simply a pleasure to be around, although it is where Poppy 'decided to like her' - and since, is having no problems showing her affection as does Daisy!  You can hear her speak it "Jessies here!" she runs to get what ever toy she knows Jessie will throw.

What started as some assistance has turned into a friendship, I will miss her when she returns to school but will be visiting all the time - so that's good.   Never let age get in the way of speaking to anyone, as I teach her, quite offen she teaches me something as well.  I've got to know a  couple of her sisters and it is really  wonderful to know they are all smart, educated, traveled, kind, successful & funny young woman (well Jenny, another sister- she's another story, she cracks me up... I'm not sure why, she too manages to make me smile instantly- good thing, since I see her usually for 'our first coffee of the day)  they have been a blessing in our lives and I'm happy to know them!  * Jade too- who returns to law school in a few weeks in B.C. ! One more excuse to visit and I asked her to become 'something I can use..' Not a criminal lawyer- lol I know from our short interactions - watch out.  Just the thought of her being a lawyer - kicking ass- makes me smile.

Jessie also makes unbelievable body scrubs- so far I've had the lemon, coffee and  mint- they exfoliate my psoriasis and have helped get it a little more manageable lately, not to mention  stimulate all the senses.  I really think Jessie is going to be something- CREATIVE!  I look forward to watching it happen!

She has proven to be much needed & added sunshine this summer and I'm truly grateful to God for the  introduction.  & Jenny - for having her work in her coffeeshop and make fun of her 'little sister', as sisters do.  

Today she's coming over  I have a surprise a backyard painting journal!!! 
I'm forcing her to start one! lol   I'll show you when complete - she has talent and I can't wait to see it blossom! In full out gouache color!

There is so much happening in the world now my editorial ideas are on overload and all of them sad.   It's one reason I'm forcing myself to work on other projects, I can not  change anything but my own current situation, work on some drawings that might help  me understand, if not anyone else... and keep on keeping on.

I had someone message me on FB asking 'what they had done? I was not communicating with them as much.. '  Please understand, I am busy, I like to stay busy and would much rather paint - which takes work, research, time and no distractions to do so successfully than be on facebook.  I also have a husband and son and house full of pets & chores & garden and the odd friend who I hang out with (not to call my friends odd), I most every time, I log into FB  - have a message waiting for me - and I like to say hi back to everyone! lol -SO... to take it personally- Don't.  IF you are, it is your problem not mine, chances are I'm not even aware  there is a problem. & that is just it.    How could it be personal if we hardly even know each other in person?   I just wanted to clarify that.

I too am having issues in my personal life..  reading this now, you might be aware. 
Norm and I are separating, we have "stuff' going on and have for a while and it's not getting better, only less tolerable for each of us it seems.  Time to take some time apart, I'm away after my Dr.s appointment this Friday so I have tons to do,  he will stay  here - he too has tons to do - the kitchen renovations, which living in a constant renovation for 24 years has me just feeling tired of it all.  Far from excited.
People can read this and not know the underlying story and come to their own conclusions- for FOX sakes I don't give a fuck. We know, the 3 of us here in this house. That is enough.
I couldn't share and present like everything is  swell, what would that accomplish? Nothing only add to the lies of what 'perfect lives we all lead'.  
Mine is far from perfect &  neither am I but it is still mine - last time I checked,  I can still make changes to enjoy it.

BUSY week, I'm so excited about the painting I'm going to be doing while away! I don't want to forget any of my supplies - I won't be anywhere near an art supply store. I've no idea what my internet will be like while away either...  I'll choose to stay off most of the time.

For Fuck sakes - focus on what really matters... not my grammar or use of the "f" word.

What brings you peace?  
It's painting of me & it's time I caught up.
I've had so much on my mind, I think since march.. only now do I feel 'things' starting to come clear, line up.. get ready for the universe to align- ready to shine. 

No facebook this week, no instagram either..  it's time to paint.

Good things are happening! Change is in the air! I feel it in my heart with every beat.
Time to re align.. I am 're hanging' my office! I have some serious work ahead, I've recently been inspired by a Skype call with Ivan, his office is so neat! As in cool.  As are the projects he is working on!  How blessed I feel to have such good friends all around the world... and with Skype/internet - its as though they are in the next room.  It sure helps keep a smile on my face. Pain or not! 

I have a new assistant! Her name is Jessie and she is assisting with what ever- working, finding, hanging, sorting bouncing off ideas- you see, these two (Norm& Storm- hard to believe I know, lol)  get tired of it- as would you, if it was you mom or wife of 24? 25 years.
I lost count.  Jessie is 22, still in school, funny, quick and talented- and full of ideas of her own! I look forward to her next visit tomorrow, I plan on teaching her a little gauche. 
It's wonderful to start to feel organized & see lighe at the end of the tooning tunnel.

I've 'international bud' to paint and much more- I'm designing a post card for the 'Cannabus'  in Scotland for my friend Robert! As planned, if all goes well I will be visiting him (his family) this year and just the thought has me smiling! 

Im going to consult with another friend in Germany - the same gentleman who -I watched his gauche lessons on youtube! I found him and BUGGED him on FB, lol , until he replied. he is very funny person in my opinion.

I'm creating something every day. A side line for today was a hat for my mom- some event she is attending..  below the photos, lol!  I like to thank my wonderful patient 'hat model'! 
I LOVE my son, he is so much fun.

Inspired by the many little cactus- what better way to teach myself gauche. 
& I ordered 2 books- one for painting birds- the other botanical! I can't tell you how hard it is to contain my enthusiasm regarding painting  some  cannabis!
Wait and see what I've got planned.  It will be one more way to bring  POSITIVE, deserved attention to the plant.  I have such a difficult time putting myself away from my desk...

Im feeling angry, yes probably about Jim, how fucking unfair this life can seem some days,
good people go and 'scum' remain to torment and torture. Last night we watched netflix- a crime FBI show..  more or less to pass a bit of time as we unwind, usually the 3 of us watch TV together - since we do so little - and we vote, we all must agree or we do not watch.  I will say I've gone 'off' of horror and violent movies and  Norm and Storm are going along with, thank God.  During the episode the police officer said over 600 women are dumped along the highway every year in Texas alone. WTF?  Can this be true?? So I did a tiny bit of research .. it's true and worse.  It's terrible. 

I'm suffering from PTSD (thank God for Cannabis) - First I'd would like the opportunity for a class acton law suit against Stephen Harper next  I wish women everywhere would start a class action lawsuits against the judges that let  ANY violent attacker against women OFF & then  'JUDGES' the women- how they dress, text messages, - WERE they there? DOES any  old man understand texting? Pressure and  being  woman.   Being a woman is not easy.
Do you know out of EVERY 100 attacks only 6  'SIX' are reported.
​Why - because women once attacked are never the same. FEAR has enterer their life forever.  I was 'date raped' with a drink - I knew the person - we worked at a car dealership together, he convinced me to have a drink with him  - 'put our differences aside', I was NOT fond of him to say the least - he was everything I did not like in a man, winey, huge ego, pretty boy, mindless jock - I woke up in his bed the next day and remembered NOTHING after I had that fucking drink. ONE DRINK.   I woke up and answered 'his phone' a couple of times - thinking the caller had the wrong number.. because I THOUGHT I was at home in my own bed alone- very hung over. When  I rolled over and saw him I was sick to my stomach.  I was NOT a slut, I was out to have a nice evening. I was  abused by a cock who lost control and a SNEAKY one at that. 
I've blogged about it before. I met him years later! - I had Storming his carriage- do you know what he said to me: "Hey, I still have one of your earrings!!".  
Years later & the disgust returned, the GUT feeling that told me he was  a SHIT person and I was right. How many more women did he do that to?  MamaBear kicked in and I told him - 'keep it - I certainly don't need the reminder of the biggest mistake of my life"  and walked away. I never called him on it. I should look him up today and fucking say 'hello' - I'm not who I was thats for sure. It' in the past.  He can no longer hurt me, I understand what HE did...
HE lost control.  
HE is the one with the problem.  He is the bad example of a human being.
He needed to control his cock. 

If a cock was in the city and it lost control and did what ever it wanted. It would quickly become soup. A bird. YET we have  humans that have such little respect for others- they drug, beat, rape and abuse and kill women as if they were no more than an object to use and discard. It must stop.
That was just one  attack in my lifetime - I had another , and many tiny ones, comments, remarks from former bosses- it was NEVER ending... because I was born with boobs.
Do you have a daughter? Sister.. wife? Mother, grandmother?
They are all candidates for rape, for COCKS who can not control themselves.
