My big cup of Cock.. lol
**I was up before the birds and excited! Todays the day!
I've got so much to do I can't wait - why am I so excited > My awesome son took me to Curry's yesterday in Barrie!  ( a mini road trip - Poppy too & lunch!)
He wanted to go to Cabelas for some winter camping equipment. & I was thrilled- Poppy and I walked the store - I fell for this new parka by - An Inuit Style- made in Canada - It was so frigging comfortable and warm! I've wanted a Canada Goose - until I saw and tried this on. Im now switched over!  The fur detaches for easy cleaning, yes, real fur.  I won't apologize - there are far worse atrocities going on in the world, I try to focus on them, like child trafficking for sex. Don't start with me on fur in other words.  ;) If you have issues - take it up with the manufactures.  I might actually get out & walk Poppy if I get one...  it is not in the budget at the moment.  Then we sat by the fire and I drew a Moose! A real Moose head anyhow, I thought - 'Poppy How often do we get to draw a moose!?'
So we sat there and drew- such a good girl. She gets so many smiles.

So - It's time to open up my Etsy store!  I'm excited!
I told the guys I'll be in the shop most of the day! It's time.  OH - back to yesterday - My son bought me new water color pan set!!! A paint pallet - every time I look at it I find I breath a little faster!  He also purchased  the paper! Little 6x6 water color pads! I decided! I'd paint a few mini works of fun art! Stuff to make someone smile!
Storm also bought me a new Moleskine sketch book! 2!! One for water color- I'll share that at a later date.. but every morning I've decided to start my day with a sketch! Usually at 5a.m. lately - it's been my cup of coffee.. Today I drew a rooster, thinking 'WAKE UP!!!' with him bursting out of my cup of coffee- Storm woke up, sees me just finishinging my sketch and says "Great, going to start your day with a big cup of Cock this morning mom?
LOL  Then I blushed! "It's a rooster!!"   ah... I LOVE my son!
Time to get that Etsy site up and running!  Just an excuse to paint more!
Then I can purchase my own parka. ;)
Do what you love...
A couple of photos of my coffee cups below!

*** I have to add  *It's wonderful to have friends in High places!  When in Halliburton - I broke my favourite little mini bong- my ROOR. ;(  I came home and tried to go without - but when my face twitches - its is hard to use the bigger bongs - this one has a 'straw like'
tube and it is EASY to hold - it also packs a punch!  So, I e mailed Martin of ROOR... we have kept in touch with a few e mail over the years,  I explained to him what happened and his reply: "No problem what's your address.."
Not a week later and I have my new mini ROOR!! It packs such a punch - Do not be fooled by size.  It's awesome, I do recommend them if you use a bong.  Small and Mighty.
It is my 'office bong', cartooning - Medicated, so I can focus and draw and enjoy this life!
Time to draw Martin an awesome Thank you card!!  ;)

Peep and the tattoo'd lady! The beautiful tattoo'd lady.
It made me smile, I posted this on instagram,  my pal Joshua commented 'Beautiful'!  Perfect- as that is the mood I was going for & had only started the sketch.
Tattoos are just one more expression of art.
They have the power that we choose to give them.
I often ask strangers (with true enthusiasm) to see their tattoos, - if I like it - yes, I have seen some and think - Yikes! Who the heck did that? Your dog?
I see other examples of INK and I want to touch them,  admiring the canvas - thought that went into placement & the art itself.
Many tattoo artists have taken it to a level deserving of mater artists. Displaying their gift on whom ever wants to display it. ;) It is a personal choice.  I like them. * I do not think I like them 'so much' when on someones face, as you can see.
Peep - did you see him?   He is there!
Brains and Beauty - You decide which is which.  lol (both have both)

What makes you happy?
What do you think is beautiful!?

I had so much fun wit this , I just sat there and doodled, I did the outlines and to top it off she has on a 'gold shimmer' paint over her body - that you can only see when you hold it in the light at a specific angle!

I am taking a Facebook break.
I'm not in the Christmas mood... these temperatures, no snow... I bought one gift ;)
I can't seem to craft, I  had an emotional day yesterday thinking of Jim, our families  first Christmas without him.  I saw a big guy walk past my house - I wanted to run out and hug him.
Santa's better watch out.
I am not responsible for my hugging actions.

Have Faith.

Sure, he is adorable & can belt out a tune like any rockstar...  but, Peep is on a mission.
In his 'off time', Peep rescues Circus Elephants.

Most Elephants are chained, beaten, abused, confined their entire life - for what?
Humans to become rich.

Read & watch about one such Elephant here: http://tykeelephantoutlaw.com/about/
Peep is putting an end to Elephant abuse.

I use to enjoy the circus, long before I was educated on the details of animal abuse.
I am still and thrilled & inspired at the  beauty, imagination, costumes, lights and people!  Entertainers who's passion and love is to thrill & chill us with their talent and skills!

Who needs animals  trained to dance and in public and be beaten in private,  when we have such incredibly talented people who are more than willing to  swing, topple, bounce, jump, twirl & terrify! ;)  > https://www.facebook.com/CirqueduSoleil/ << have a Peek!

Let's enjoy animals for what they are & LOVE people for what and who we are.

Just the thought put a smile on my face.
Next Peep hangs out with the tattooed lady.

Just for fun.
Because we can.

We're off!

I have a bit of time before we go.. and I can't paint 'Peeps' Cage stand, as much as I want to- or even cartoon because - If I do I will get ink or paint on my outfit.
51 years has taught me this if nothing else. lol
I realized as I was getting ready, I am dressed head to toe in  an outfit provided my son - even my necklace! Which I must add was made by my good friend Linda! Talk about having good connections - when we were out they had a necklace with my top that looks good - but
I wanted perfect. Why not? Storm suggested Linda!  Duh.
I e mailed  as soon as I got home: Linda! I need a necklace  blah blah blah by tomorrow.
So she came over & while we caught up, she whipped up my necklace & earrings.
Exactly what I wanted and Not PLASTIC not mass produced. I'm done with crap.
I only want  buy from my friends when it comes to stuff like this.
Support the smaller businesses.  Artists or individual store owners Like Kat's up in Sutton.
I will be going soon because I know she has "neat things". Other friends who make personal items.. ;) Some I am bartering with! I <3 it when that happens! lol

Well here is my new outfit - but you cant see my feet- lol
This was my Christmas gift, I really do not 'cloths shop' so he treated me and I felt like a queen, we even had a great lunch and now dinner. ;) . ;) I don't think I'll ever take of this purple sparkly sweater- mmmmmmmmmmmmmm I can hug myself .   lol.
So happy to be going out with my son - did I tell you he is on the board now & is the Foray Leader/Director!?

I feel great, makeup was a challenge - I know why I don't do it anymore. - it takes me forever! With, (thank God) many bong hits in between! lol
You try putting on mascara with a twitch!
Oh, it was hard to pull away from Peep's cage stands front door!
I know what I'm doing tomorrow - chores? - no! Painting!
I might when I come home tonight!  ;)

Check out he menu below from the restaurant tonight Rossini  - no wonder Im excitedI
I'll let you know how it was tomorrow!

Peep & Paris.

Peep appears more than content in his new home! He does not seem shy to any prying eye peeking in the clean view at the bottom of the cage. He sings  when you ask and sometimes when you don't. I am not sure what I expected - but he lets out a little variety noises that  have me  staring in disbelief that they come from this tiny body!
Nibbling on fresh greens- like Kale and Broccoli, carrots and berries- he eagerly awaits to see what we place in his cage next.
The family couldn't be more please with our little Peep.
Yesterday I was not able to draw, I felt awful, tired and flu-ish - it had to be the MRI/dye/stress - I woke today feeling better and excited to design peeps new home.
Storm teased me already how Peep appears to have gotten bigger - and when he puffs up - he looks to be the size of a tiny lemon! ;)  He was balancing on one leg so well the other day - I wondered if it had been removed by the cat overnight!
I looked & looked and finally he let it down. Whew.  lol
He is a one man show- noises like there are at least 11 different birds in his cage. That's IT!
Peep needs a stand -  there are expensive & of course NOT what we want so I have already drawn out what we hope Norm will build this weekend. All I want is height, away from cat and dogs, sturdy, wheels, a shelf (for supplies & food) and a cupboard door to look nice and clean and be my main painting surface for 'Peep and his custom traveling circus show!'  ;)
A first of many doodles.  I will show you 'Peeps Stand' when complete of course!

Paris
Up early on the weekend, I checked out FB only to hear & *see the attacks for the first time.
What a terrible way to wake up. To see- what we would never see years ago  - now shared around the world in an instant. People falling from windows, running screaming.
Then, you see  posts of anger and hatred.
Several very F*cked up people are capable again of  setting a chain reaction of more anger and violence. ONLY a few evil people and this is what we need to remember.
What I needed to remember.
The majority of the world does feel exactly the same - only scum is capable of such acts and that is how the much world sees them.
Seeing how others around the world come to stand together and show sympathy, love & support  is power.

I am glad I don't have television, as terrible as  life is - it makes it worse to repeat it over & over and over again.  I'm going to go paint & focus on thinking about all the good. I can not change what happened - I will not contribute to the vibes of hatred - only send ones of love and prayers for the families of all those involved...  & try to think of something positive to draw.   That might take a bit.
