Some days are meant to happen, not yet completed this entry this morning - the phone rang and I answered it- lol - all who know me - I don't usually answer my phone...  a woman from a well known publishing company in the USA called me asking about the book I was writing.  "tell me more.." so if I had to:
It's a book about Cannabis education, geared towards children - educating about natural medicine, cannabis in particular. It will touch on all medications, safety & precautions and help dispel the lies and negative stigma attached to cannabis. It comes with a cute, fun, imaginative, simple interactive toy.

That's enough said.
Now, I wonder as I often do- did she call to speak to me- or did she call so I could speak to her. The next thing I know - she is in an illegal state in the USA - she has too much to lose- how sad it that- but is interested as she has been diagnosed with M.S.

Lift off!  How I feel every morning with my first bong hit & pray it works as fast as can be.
I have been smoking/consuming what's called 'Grape Escape' and I feel  outstanding.. out of this world. Thank God & my Grower...   who is now on Instagram btw:

This little bud is just the explorer' - the 'mars rover' of buds for a different painting. I wondered how to put him in space suit, wonder no more.   Is this cannabis causing me to think about aliens- no,  it's the program - Ancient Aliens, I find it rather fascinating and do believe, simply because of all the unexplained technology/art/culture/architecture  from the past.  Tasks accomplished THEN we still can not accomplish today without advanced machinery.   Alone in Universe,  I don't think so.

I believe as with all medications from time to time our bodies need a jolt- a switch up from from our regular routine.  How wonderful we are able to accomplish this with the switch of a  plant strain- unlike medications that take literally months - just to get off of- in order to try another.  I am loving this switch up.  Painting till 2a.m.  most night back a it a  6/7 a.m.  yes, I nap in the afternoon- I prefer to say recharge- and sometimes I don't nap - I think of ideas to paint.  I am grateful from my daily grape escapes.  

Dream of other worlds! Let your imagination explore! You might come up with a  little bud in a space suit - you might come up with a new cookie recipe! Inspired by cannabis & love- we will not fail.

Georgia ... On my Mind.        Thief.
Every now and then I see 'my art' on someone else's social media page with no credit to me. Taking compliments for my work- instead of redirecting people- "Check out Georgiatoons @ whatever..."  I have even seen people go so far as remove my name and enter in their own.
I very recently, saw one of my ideas almost re-drawn detail for detail  with a  few minor changes, the 'artist' took no credit (I guess not)- but 'the company' did for it's 'originality'.
At first I was in shock... slowly I felt a 'smile materialize across my face- like the Grinch,  a  pathetic attempt to steal my idea - without the talent - please.
I am owning it.  I DID create it. 
Did it get more 'likes' than mine? Yes. lol -  more people.  That's how it works. 
It won't make me give up.
All it does is show me who is paying attention & trying to make attempts at being - ME.
Am I wrong?  I am the only 'Georgia Toons.

Talent. Yes. I work hard. I paint EVERY day, all day-  It is a skill like any other.  
Go ahead, try. You can't steal my creativity or talent.  

It is stealing and it means: 
          YOU LACK imagination & morals.

simply, you are a thief like every other petty thief,  taking what does not belong to you.
***Print my artwork and sell my card ideas without my permission - Thief.
Re draw my idea with a few tweaks": Thief.

It has me wondering about instagram - again to share or not to share. 
My goal is to educate, hopefully make people smile & think.
It won't happen if I do not share. 

I am in the process of working on a couple projects,  out in time for next year. I finally feel- 'strong enough to focus on a few of these projects. Guaranteed to make every cannabis enthusiast smile. Never before seen ART.  I paint all day - every day, you don't see 1/2.  I'm getting better every day, ideas and painting- while thieves surf on line and seal others ideas. That is how it will always be.  

I feel 'wonderful, elated, powerful & passionate when creating.
A Thief will never feel the same stealing.

I’m taking a social media break - to paint & ponder on the year to come.  Being the troglodyte that I am, I’ve decided to explore more this year, get some new music, focus less on negative news & more on positive & LOVE - not just for me, everyone needs more love.  Don’t you? 

Since I’m taking a break to paint - those who read my blog have a ‘heads up on my gratitude decision for 2017. Everyday,  I paint a ‘warm up and then work on a bigger piece- sometimes completing it, other times it takes a few days needless to say- I’ve quite to collection of little originals!  What will I do with them all?
GIVE some away.  Share.  Make  someone smile!  Furnish a fan with fabulous fridge art!

Who gets the first - Victoria J, a fan who mailed me a Christmas card, she lives in Monticello, Arkansas and has been sending cards for a couple of years, her timing perfect & she does not even know it! Unless she reads this blog. lol  
Her little original is ready to go out with Fridays mail.

I’ve wrapped and labeled my art ready to be shared with a select few. How do you get one??!
I don’t know..  we’ll figure that out as 2017 goes along. 

I’m going to explore more in 2017.

Snow Storm today here in Ontario- good day to paint. 
Tragic all the talent the world lost in 2016.

Why? Well for one my bird - Bird follows me from office to painting room and comes to which ever room I am in when I call him.  Come on.. that's pretty cool.  lol
Other than that he appears to have no desire to leave.. but if I go downstairs I close the door.  
Instagram is awesome- its teaching me how to gouache paint- until my friend in Germany gets up his web site, IG (Instagram) inspires and makes me smile.. I just saw the cup (above) as I was about to get ready to go get my coffee! I 'steal'  cups & replace them painted! hee hee and they let me. I also replace a few cup wrappers with painted designs.
It's a great way to use my paint and possibly brighten someone's day a little.
I know they brighten ours with their little smiles on  cups- etc.. & FOOD! I am not kidding - the wraps are delicious, yesterday I had the Kobe Beef  with sautéed onions and mushrooms, today it's the salmon wrap,  I also enjoyed the chicken and harvati -roast beef sandwich and the Smoked cheese is mouth watering! Hungry?  Me too - now! lol  
I am NOT a fan of fast food/take out, so this is terrific. 
They are also service dog friendly- Poppy loves them and knows them so - she barks 'hello'.
It's nice should I feel the desire to walk home with her - its  bit of a walk... I'll just imagine we are walking the woods somewhere. 
I've painted 2 more cards that are in the mail! I hope this mail bull isn't  messing everything up, I know hempwick received  my Let it BEE Hemp dispenser I made for them, what a great company, I get good vibes every time I deal with them.  Hempwick if interested.
Norm and I are discussing separating & will  not be celebrating out 23rd anniversary in a few days, fine by me... I like the gift I got him & will keep it for my new home.  Not for anyone - either of us,we just can't seem to get along and are both tired.
It's wonderful Wednesday! I have actually been feeling pretty good.. it is time to make some serious changes in my life - We -I have changed and can't keep going in the direction I am.
I know what makes me feel good and what does not make me feel good.  I want to feel good.
It's that simple.
I go to the brain hospital soon - to discuss stuff. lol 
I have someone I want to invite, someone who does not believe what I am living with,  I am sure my Dr. would set him straight and then some- but why should I give a fuck about someone like this?  I did.. I don't anymore-  forgiven and forgotten - not worth one more moment of my precious time.  Time is precious.  
​I'm gonna be like Gollum with my time and who I spend it with.   ;)
If you don't get it -I don't fucking care. ;) It is my life, no one else's. 
Unless you are paying my way you don't have a say.  ;)
Time to get back out and PAINT the bullshit away and I feel stronger every day!
I know I am going in the right direction- as difficult as it might be.

What brings you peace?  
It's painting of me & it's time I caught up.
I've had so much on my mind, I think since march.. only now do I feel 'things' starting to come clear, line up.. get ready for the universe to align- ready to shine. 

No facebook this week, no instagram either..  it's time to paint.
A little PIN always.

Good things are happening! Change is in the air! I feel it in my heart with every beat.
Time to re align.. I am 're hanging' my office! I have some serious work ahead, I've recently been inspired by a Skype call with Ivan, his office is so neat! As in cool.  As are the projects he is working on!  How blessed I feel to have such good friends all around the world... and with Skype/internet - its as though they are in the next room.  It sure helps keep a smile on my face. Pain or not! 

I have a new assistant! Her name is Jessie and she is assisting with what ever- working, finding, hanging, sorting bouncing off ideas- you see, these two (Norm& Storm- hard to believe I know, lol)  get tired of it- as would you, if it was you mom or wife of 24? 25 years.
I lost count.  Jessie is 22, still in school, funny, quick and talented- and full of ideas of her own! I look forward to her next visit tomorrow, I plan on teaching her a little gauche. 
It's wonderful to start to feel organized & see lighe at the end of the tooning tunnel.

I've 'international bud' to paint and much more- I'm designing a post card for the 'Cannabus'  in Scotland for my friend Robert! As planned, if all goes well I will be visiting him (his family) this year and just the thought has me smiling! 

Im going to consult with another friend in Germany - the same gentleman who -I watched his gauche lessons on youtube! I found him and BUGGED him on FB, lol , until he replied. he is very funny person in my opinion.

I'm creating something every day. A side line for today was a hat for my mom- some event she is attending..  below the photos, lol!  I like to thank my wonderful patient 'hat model'! 
I LOVE my son, he is so much fun.

Instagram fun.
I am drawing a green sloth for my newest barter agreement.
With a talented young lady in Taiwan.  From what I see she draws mostly on her iPad.
It’s not just the drawing I like - but her creativity!  
I think she would make a good cartoonist as she gets the point across with a single drawing.

I watched for  bit, she follows me - its how we were introduced, I asked her 'what do you want..'  A GREEN SLOTH.   lol  A Sloth it is and I learned some pretty amazing sloth facts!  Great conversation for the diner table. Did you know there use to be Sloths  the size of elephants!  Prehistoric sloths.. and they swim- much faster than they move - who knew. 

As a bonus  - I was having so much fun painting my sloth, I forgot to make him green so, I have two on the go, I will put it on Etsy. You will see the other after it reaches it's final destination! I love this.   I had another Etsy sale the other day ! Thank you!!

Storm commented (when I shared info. about the newest artist I was bartering with) “it’s like your studio all over again mom, you see a kid with talent and you go that extra bit to encourage them…”  I thought: It IS!!  I can!!  
How wonderful! No cricket club but it will have to do!  I am THRILLED.

My only concern is to make sure the parent are o.k. with me sending them ‘snail mail’. 
Hee hee, I like to add a couple of little things. ‘Canadian’ , I found these BIG chocolate Toonies and I tape a real one to the back. I think it’s interesting, I giggle as I sit here- I’m sure some reading are rolling their eyes.. I care not. I always include some form of maple syrup - mmmmmmm. If I havnt eaten it all.

I make sure the person - wants to exchange. I never know age - I don't really care..  Someone is trying to draw and express themselves and  shares it with all of us. ;)  
This is a reason I also think it's an interesting way to meet others.  I would also be using if I was single to meet others with the same interests. Who cares if they live far away- it shouldn't stop us from forming friendships. 
Another talented young man puts ‘Dogs heads on humans’, such a distinct look already!
 I had to tell him.  If you ever have the opportunity to ‘really encourage' someone younger - in your profession for example,  please take it. 

I feel special as well, my friend Hunter in the USA , who I bartered with shared his ‘picking a prom jacket photo’ with me  ;) 

Well its’ time to get back to the Sloth.

We have a ritual in this house.. it's called reading.   I  introduced it to Storm very early & encouraged it big time.  I am beyond thrilled, he still LOVES to do so.
In the morning before we start all else, we read I start at 4-6 and *Storm usually up at 8.
It's wonderful when he joins me with a book as he did this morning.  BUT...  the sun is shining! I was up early...

Norm woke up having to clean vomit - off our bed  - just appeared, when Poppy ( Poppy is so delicate)  woke up - me still lying in bed- now gagging! Good Morning!! 
I was having a great low twitch morning also! ;)
Then he stood in Poppy Poo!  Me giggling now..  we go down stairs have coffee he puts on his boots for work and the cat has peed in them.  I am laughing out loud at this, the universe is in alignment! Ha, serves him right for all the smart ass remarks as of late.  
Back to reading.. so,  Storm joins me and makes a point to say "I'm reading."
A bit of time passes.. I am myself and  can't seem to  keep quiet this morning.. he turns straight faced and says:

it took a moment to sink in.. he looks at me I look at him and he starts giggling with a smirk. I am too.. so I draw - another thing I do every morning.. he reads.  Time passes he gets up walks over take one glance at my drawing and burst out laughing!! Me too!  He did not even read it - just the look on  Poppys face was enough.  He said "it sounds bad when you say it like that!"   (Still laughing) I say - "That is how you said it!"  lol 
He goes up to the shower and I hear him still laughing in the shower a few moments later.  
What a wonderful moment. Give thanks.

I can't get enough water color, something Ive been afraid of forever is fun att he moment. 
Layering,  soft and yet- the next thing - it looks like marker almost on the paper. The only think is - don't screw up.  ;) Im not painting anything crucial - and can change as I go hopefully... I have these wonderful little 6 x 6 pads that turn and twist as I go.

More to come!  I decided it's 'Happy Bird day!!'  Every day is bird day!

I'm thinking about 2016. 
I thought today:
I'll have a bit of fun on Instagram and 'give away'  an 'original card' a month. 
To anyone, anywhere in the world.  No strings. No postage. 
I don't quite know how... I think, I have to get people to add a #hashtag, so I will know who is interested in the card. The first did go to the interested person of one!   ;)
​I got a real charge to hear it ended up on a 'moms fridge'!  
That made me smile.  It also makes it all worth while.

What makes me happy?
Giving someone an original, hand drawn, painted card.
Painted with  time, love and tenderness  & thc.
I know how snail mail makes me feel!  ;D
It can be the same with a  postcard or a package - it  it the thought that counts. 

This will be the first card. 'Poppy in the Poppies'.
