I had a great day today ;-)  I spent the morning with Marie at Richters and both the company and the herbs were so refreshing! Hee hee hee -me sampling all the while, talk about Cannabis, Viagra, stinging nettles  - LOL
Some serious talks, problems, past history, Hitler and people suffering. Todays problems. The environment... and to be around all those amazing PLANTS - reading what each one ‘does’. It's amazing. Educating. I came home with a few new babies.

 I hope one day to go and buy a strain of cannabis from such a place. How cool would that be? Pick a Clone? HERBS R US!? I’m going to go to the ‘FREE BEE’ seminar in August for sure. ;-) hee hee hee- want to build an army for Norms nose LOL!!! 
 Marie was introduced to me by God at his house one weekend ;-)  And I am forever grateful for that. What a wonderful person, she is a gift  to me and to many, especially all her volunteer work, not to mention the food bank! Her and Alf ;-) I did have many laughs today.  

Then my day only got better! I went to lunch with Cathy! ALWAYS guaranteed a laugh!!
 Cartoon ideas- but so many we forget what they were.. One of us will remember. Her and her itchy nose! She can’t resist patting the girls but is allergic. We also seem to cover every topic. The sadness in Norway, the boys- I love hearing about them all, one time it will be about Corey, next Travis, an other times Kyle.  WE LOVE our boys ;-) and thank God for them daily. Mike, cookies, camping, Life. I also was introduced to Cathy at Gods House ;-)  It has been a while and Cathy has been with me most of the way. Through thick and thin. How Blessed to have her as a friend. We also talk a lot about Cannabis. 
 IT is my life. It is my son’s life. Literally.
 The added pressure that is put on people by the government is criminal. Medical and recreational users alike. OUR kids are getting records for smoking a joint! Our friends are going to jail from growing a HERB!!!!  Our parents, brothers, sisters, children suffering  - being made to feel like criminals because they are ILL? 

I AM Canadian this is not what I imagined. I have learned so much in just 4 years and it just does not make sense.  It is sad. AMERICA..GROW HEMP! You are struggling, people are worried ;-(  It would help your economy. 
Obama - you know the truth! You SMOKED Cannabis - a few times I bet ;-) WHO CARES!?

Today, I spent a while in a HERB garden where some of the plants clearly tell you they will kill you! They are legal. They should be!!  
                                      IT is about educating ourselves!!  
 IT’S A F*&^%$#!!!   PLANT.  Put here by GOD. WHO is anyone to tell me(US) what I(WE) can and can not grow on this GOD given earth? Especially if it easing our pain? It should be that simple.  LEGALIZE IT!!   RESEARCH IT!   
FOCUS on real crimes like Murder, People trafficking -WORLD HUNGER! 
THERE are so many things to focus on ;-(( 

The facts are there. Learn them.

 Truth be told.  Storm's story is finally out. Over the years I have been asked to write something , do interviews (which I can not without tearing up - and like Oprah, I hate the Ugly cry ;-) So I sat down and wrote it out, let my guys read it and then sent it off to TY. I thought they would edit it, they corrected it but kept the entire story!  It was 'releasing' to write it out, although emotional - re living many of the experiences that I had hoped to put behind us. THIS story needed to be told.  There are so many people out there who are so misinformed about Cannabis. They hear only the negative and think it's all about getting high. For many sick and suffering people all around the world it is about medicine and pain control. I especially want parents to know. Parents who have sick children, there is a safer option.  The only way people will believe is when they look into things for themselves.  
If anything I pray the article gets people curious.  Everything happens for a reason.  It has been a constant learning  experience and it continues to date. This is my son's medicine. This is my sons life. This is our family. I thank God every day for Cannabis and finally some pain control for our son ;-)))  To those who have read the article and have e mailed me, thank you. I have had nothing but positive feedback.  One person said "You're so brave."
 I am not the brave one - it is my son Storm that has to endure everyday. He is Brave. My inspiration. My Love. 
The fact that he continues to GO GO GO every day, not letting his disease slow him down, not feeling sorry for himself when I know he is hurting is all I need to keep going.  If you have not read the article it is available in stores now.  Long before I was in the magazine with my comic strip (before anyone knew it was based on a true story), I though it was a terrific magazine. I am thrilled to be in several amazing magazines now. ALL educating, helping.  I do believe Cannabis will be legalized.  ONCE more people learn the truth it has to be. No point bitching about Steven Harper - his time will come when  eyes will be opened - many already are!! Instead of spreading the anger and hate - plant the seed! The seed of truth and knowledge ... it is growing big and tall like a weed, GeHARD to pull out of the garden! The greatest WEED of all. Cannabis.

I was thinking, I'm not sure of anything else that does a GLOBAL day to bring awareness. ALL over the world. ONE day - ONE LOVE.   CLEARLY it is time for this insanity to end. People want to have a choice. I JUST want my son to have his medicine without all the bullshit & STRESS that comes with it.  There I said it! 
I want all the people I now know, to NOT have to feel like a criminal for bringing peace to their minds and bodies! I want them to have safe access to what they DESERVE.  IT is that simple.  *Parents - I am going to start posting child related stories. You know why - BECAUSE there are many of them! Cannabis helping kids who have seisures!  Brain Tumors! Chronic pain! ADHD! AND MORE. The last thing parents should have to worry about is our children's life saving MEDICINE!  I trust in God and his medicine. I have seen how it works DO not judge me or my choices until you have walked in my shoes.   For me it is simple and yes, selfish.  I LOVE my son.  I see him be able to control his pain for the first time in his life.   What I do not see is equally as important - I do not see the constant suffering.   
This is because of CANNABIS.. A PLANT.

I've been paying attention to drug companies now that want to make something 'ALMOST' 'EXACTLY' like it - but without the "high" the 'euphoria' one gets. WHAT the &^%$ is wrong with it!?  Doesn't that just sound insane?  Recently a Patient with his license was criticized for saying "lets get high!"-  What is wrong with feeling GOOD?!!  These people suffer more than most and want to feel GOOD, is that a CRIME ?  Laughter comes easier with Cannabis. Just ask.  I can not tell you the number of people who I have heard say - if they did not have cannabis they would end their life.   
Tomorrow  stand up for what you believe in.

We should all start to plant seeds today.   Over the years I've had one friend who especially said: "Georgia, Like it or not you are going to be an editorial cartoonist."  I do not watch the news, but I would have to be living under a rock to say I have not heard and peeked about Japan and looked at some posts on FB. ;-(  
So with LOVE and Passion & RESPECT  I drew my cartoon.

I woke up today angry ;-( Could be several things.  But I'd have to say I am upset by the news someone I know has only been given a couple of weeks to live. Her name is Michelle Rainey . She is a Cannabis advocate. She is another person who has suffered a very long time.  She is beautiful - physically and mentally and I believe she has been a powerful force in helping to educate people in the Cannabis Awareness Crusade!


I wrote her when all this began, I had read one of her articles and thought she sounded like an intelligent, compassionate woman. I was right, she phoned me and helped me, answered questions and also sent my son some very cool gifts ;-) Making his day!  Sometimes this is a stressful situation 
(I can attest to that) and we have fear about our MEDICINE.
If your child was on morphine you do not have to worry about him/her being picked up by the police, even beaten up for it. 
WHY SHOULD I?But I do.
A PLANT. A choice that should be anyones - do they want a chemical solution or a natural one!?


I heard a neighbor (love thy neighbor) judge me for allowing my son to use "grass". Yet, she knows nothing of the screaming pain my son has endured for YEARS- since he was born, the Dr.s appointment  or the diagnoses on his records that says Progressive to Terminal, NO treatment no cure! Or the slow painful progression we watch helplessly continue.  PUT YOURSELF in our shoes for only a second. 
You might just start to think. That is all I can ask.


Something in me has snapped this morning. 
I am NOT ashamed of my sons medicine! I thank GOD every day for it! 
Unless you are a mother and have lived with what my husband, son and myself are living with. 
How dare you judge me or anyone else for not wanting to suffer.


Because of your ignorance I thank you! I am stronger today then yesterday.
I have but one judge... and your not it!
