Wow... how does one react to todays news?
I woke up and asked- who won?
"Trump.."
"Tell me your joking" I said.
Nope - No joke. I don't even know what to say.. I feel a sense of sadness for America today, one I have never had in my life before. America will never be 'great again' in my mind, some of the statements made by the new president of the 'US of America', the hatred vomited from his own mouth these last months sadly will never be forgotten.
I did check out the page of a Chelsea Handler today- she's been bragging she would leave if Trump were to become next president... the comments on her page - wow, and so it begins. Come to Canada Chelsea... please leave the gun mentality behind.
I have several friends I'd love to welcome here today.

I painted Frida Poppy yesterday!
Feeling a bit 'Fridaish' myself these days... I was inspired by a documentary I watched- I realized how little I knew about Frida. Inspired is putting it mildly, I WANT to PAINT today! A new canvas - Not sure what. Anything - just to paint.
Escape.
Frida & Diego - a love like that!? Would you want it?
Talk about inspiration feeding off of each other! it gives me goosebumps!
It was a fascinating documentary- I know more and will be learning more about Friday - today before I start the next painting. I sent a girlfriend an e mail telling her I want to be Canada's Frida! LOL, I liked how she THOUGHT. Bring it on baby.
