We don't need your protection, it's never happened, we won't die. No lie.
Do Police stand outside drug stores and warn people about the # of deaths caused from pain PILLS every year? Well?
O.k. - I do understand all the new places wanting to OPEN! Heck! I want to open a dispensary! 'Georgia Toons Tokes' & bong shop!! LoL - right Jerry? If it is done correctly, properly pleasing the patients/clients - it will survive. If it sells other products it shouldn't be selling - then it will be dealt with accordingly OR if it is crappy product - people won't go and it will shut itself down. Simple.
When smaller dispensaries are shut down - especially the established places - who does it hurt?
The business owners? No, facts are they will pay a fine- deal with court and probably 'win', since cannabis is going the direction it is - costing tax payers until it does become legal and this bullshit stops.
The people who are hurt when dispensaries are shut down are people who are now having to 'go' elsewhere. People who are sick, suffer terribly from chronic pain - who cares now if they must go further, wait longer, suffer more. Not the politicians or police.
The prices will probably go up for patients - court costs to cover.
Will politicians help here? I doubt it.
Some people, instead of getting reliable, safe medicine - be FORCED back to ILLEGAL street dealers- for medicine. Thank you Politicians & Police for looking after our safety. This includes the 'kids' you are so worried about- they will get it anyway, and will be introduce to more with dealers - street dealers don't care if your kid smokes 'pot' they want them hooked on something more addictive.
Please do not play into everything you hear or read - check!
Check what I have to say! Please.
If you have been visiting a dispensary that has been closed make your concerns heard- let your politician know they are causing you anguish. Do not go elsewhere - try to continue to support your dispensary. There is more than enough room for large and small scale dispensaries - let the people choose.
I like 'mom & pop' stores and will always support them with my $.
Cannabis is here to stay.
I look at Storm everyday and Thank God for cannabis.
