I try not to read the paper. When I do I am always shocked (I guess that's their job). I find I just shake my head in amazement. Lately it is with the punishment of the crime. In the last few years I really is a shock for me to read about people going to jail for growing a plant. In many cases they are growing it for someone that is terribly ill. A PLANT that is proven to ease suffering. A plant that is showing incredible results now with shrinking of tumors! Don't believe me... you know what to do. ;-)
I read some really despairing stuff.. How can you not! It fills out papers and T.V.
People die daily from DRUNK DRIVERS. Lives are destroyed and all is lost. Because someone can't control their drinking ? The sad thing is many become repeat offenders. Many times they do not even get TIME - simply a slap on the hand. YET for the family of a loved one that is killed - the pain goes on for a very long time.
I do not understand it. WHY have WE let this happen and continue to do so?
Yes people make mistakes and sometimes it takes a very difficult lesson to learn to change. Then there are those that prey upon children, in come cases their own parents. Again many never see the inside of a jail - yet they have forever taken away innocence and for the most part destroy a life - sometimes for generations to come.

I DO NOT UNDERSTAND this. It is a plant. Why do we let this happen?
