With the new expected changes Health Canada will be out of the picture. A 'cop out' since they f*cked up and now instead of correcting and helping Canadians, what do they do? They pull out. WOW.

My own Dr. commented he thinks 'it's a good thing' when we first heard of it, that was before we also heard that people will no longer to be able to grow their own medicine.
I posted yesterday in my frustrations with all of this and said simply said Leona you say changes... and I say Fuck you." More or less. Some might think that harsh, even 'disrespectful'. You want to hear harsh?
STILL to date I have asked people, and they are still giving out licenses for people to grow their own medicine! False hope.

They claim it will save tax payers 1000's! For what I'd like to know!

All we ever got was ONE laminated card, a few pieces of paper that were always late and accompanied with stress while we waited for them, crappy photo copied instructions - if you can call them that.
No one that I was aware of purchased the meds. due to terrible quality. So what did they spend money on? LOL - WELL we all know that could be just about anything don't we...
Our pleas are ignored. No one had ever contacted me and I have called and sent e mails as well as post on FB pages. The Canadian Government is showing Canadian patients using the medical cannabis program NO respect what so ever and I am done showing them any respect in turn. To who - Steven Harper!?? Ha! Didn't we just prove he was elected
illegally?
As for Leona Im starting to fee like a minority being ignored.

BUT it is time for Dr.s to start to understand, WE have the right to a safer, less toxic pain alternative to Pain, nausea and NUMEROUS other ailments. IT should be our RIGHT to make the choice between a healther alternative!

Dr.s are NOT stupid and they also can no longer deny the positive benefits as cannabis as a medicine. THEY work for us! DEMAND it. PROOF - stop it! WE have proof! Proof it does not kill for one!
So Dr.s it's time to quit with the excuses, EDUCATE yourself on Cannabis as you would any other medication. AND change with the times. WE the people demand it and have every right to be healthy and happy. FIRST DO NO HARM!
What Dr. in all good faith in this day of education would be 'fine' prescribing OXY for a patient - PROVEN highly additive and deadly over Cannabis?
Not an honest one IMO.

That being said - Go to your Dr.s apt educated! Bring them proof.
Do not demand, ask and show your Dr. the respect they deserve and in return you deserve to be treated with, and DON'T lie to them. You only hurt yourself. I do feel there are many Dr.s out there that are being informed and are out to help rather than hurt! <3
