This was a nickname given to me by a friend Neev. I am a Mama Bear. I have had to be. Even when I read about other kids.. GRRRRRRRRR. There is this kid, teenager in the USA who wants to go to school, he has a license to use cannabis from his DR. He has a serious condition that causes him to have seizures. Some last more than 24 hours. They have TRIED other medication but the Cannabis is finally working! YET this school wants him kicked off the property because of Cannabis in his system!?? Is this kid and his family already not dealing with enough!?? What lesson is this school teaching ALL The children about Compassion?

The first thing I did was go to my son's school to let them know he was legal. It was not really open for discussion. Thank GOD The school was terrific and has been to this day. Only in Canada Eh? ;-) I HOPE not!
Anyone that has anything to say to a family that are already dealing with
serious health issues, should remember that very old saying... Walk in my shoes and lets see what you have to say.
It is truly sad. I bet all this kid wants is to be normal.
Trust me if it was your kid.. What ever it takes.
My kid is doing fantastic because of CANNABIS, IT is a MEDICINE.

I 'm not completely against pharm. medications. Sometimes they HELP. Cannabis I know for sure helps with PAIN. WE all deserve the right to chose our medicine. I do think the problem lies with the toxic mixes... too many pills - mixed up in the system. 'They' can't possibly know all the side effects. Education is the key.
Cannabis just like everything ELSE won't be right for everyone! It is a medicine. It is so darn frustrating some days.. No wonder I draw so much .
I do BELIEVE the truth shall set you free. Soon..
