I've discovered the key to happiness.. keep creatively busy!
That is exactly what I am doing and I feel better everyday. I spent this past week painting, crafting & planning. I recently accepted a drawing job (because I believe in the message strongly) & have a deadline until the end of April to complete. 17 drawings- each takes some research, much thought & about 3 hours from start to finish for each drawing! I already have 3 complete and am excited to draw the next!
I've learned from past experience - even a drawing job that you enjoy - needs to have a little mix in it from time to time - so, in between I'm making Dolls!
I've sold a couple of my Girlfriend Dolls & wait until you see them! I will post photos after the first recipient received her custom beauty - I am so excited because I had fun right until the last detail of making sure my dolls travel to their destination in 'pure luxury & comfort'! lol I have to add I will be raining the price slightly.. they take a little more than first realized and I didn't really allow for shipping. I will also be adding the link to my ETSY site.

Today, I sneak in a bit of crafting - a HempWick dispenser with a BEEutiful detail! One for me and one for them! They are a wonderful company - always positive and have been great to me & supportive over the years so I'd like to say 'Thank you!' They don't know - so don't tell! ;)
Every morning I'm staring with a new tradition! Warm up with a custom card- that I then mail to someone- anyone! Todays custom card I will gift to a stranger!

More drawing time less internet time, unfortunatly- I know the more time I spend online the less time I have to paint... and not just that- it can effect our moods, thoughts and ideas- I have a difficult time - even when I wake in a great mood ready to draw - on many occasions I have then read something online that upsets or depressed and discourages.
We have lost control of what we see, hear and experience - social media/media has gained control.
I am taking back complete control and making myself happier & healthier every day... & it feels terrific! So - Who wants a custom card!? I'd love to gift one today!
Time to get creative!!! What will you create today?

P.S... Therapy dogs- I tell you I have a 'therapy bird'!
He makes me smile and plays .. we altered the Pinocchio perch & he LOVES it, I put little pieces of string, yarn on it and he hops from my lamp to his perch with his string and then eventually flies them into his next!
He is starting to come when I call and even now flies if the guys are in the room as well, smacking Stom on the head with his wing the other day - when we was paying attention to the iPad and not Bird! LOL! My door is open and he never leaves the room, he just likes to play around my desk & back not his cage. I of course secure him in when I leave.
Love is a little winged creature chirping hello! Listen!
