Time to paint. I Am ready.
I feel a need to be lost. Lost - not really- found I guess its the correct term.
When I paint I spend time with God. So, I guess Found is the better word instead of lost.
I do lose myself in painting and God. I make my coffee, grab the iPod, a snack of easy to eat food like berries or nuts and I'm ready to paint.
What I don't have is a computer in front of me or a phone even in the room, if it rings the machine will get it for me. Oprah will have to wait. ;) lol
Suddenly, I start to focus on what is in front of me. NOW. Paint, a canvas and excitement at the thought, I might be able to recreate in my own way what god has provided! In this case a forest floor! With many mushrooms.
I guess since we are members of the 'mycological society', hee hee hee - I like saying it - then I add - Mushroom fans! Storm and I recently went on a nature walk to see all we might see! We actually just went for a walk so I could take photos for my painting - (seen below) We had the best time. I always have the best time with Storm. How blessed and lucky and loved am I to have this relationship with my son! Thank you God.
;) Talk about score! We found so many to take photos - and today I'll start to add some of the details! Like the bark - the fungi on the trees and mom and baby snail (us) and Norm snail is in there too! Storm - who rarely says much about my paintings - already said 'THIS IS MINE!'
So, I guess it is.

Storm reminds me to remind you- DO not eat any mushrooms unless you are 100% sure they are safe! Many people still die today around the world from mushroom poisoning!

It's new paint I am using also! Canadian made and affordable! I love the consistency although it dries really fast- Must go on PIN now to make a stay wet pallet!
I wrote the company and asked for paint! LOL - what Have I got to lose?
I already know my next painting- Its an underwater scene!!
