I've been busy! & enjoying every moment.
Recently, I was approached and asked if I'd consider drawing images for children book - to assist with educating children - hopefully making 'dog bite' accidents fewer and fewer. I learned much as always, facts and number s and most dog bites can be prevented with some simple training, I learned an interesting statistic about kids under 6 and it will be an editorial drawing very soon.
Thinking parents will read & share this book with their little ones I put even more love into each image. Working with WindyWillows pet services before - I was given the 'green light' to draw what ever I want! I did just that, all different dogs and all different kids! I did not draw much in between- with a deadline - I don't like to mess around - other than something I drew for Jerry kelly (and am equally excited about) NOW - it's off to the printers soon and will be available for children and parents everywhere! Can't wait! Just think - it might save ONE kid from being bit or one dog from a shelter - than my job is done!

Today! it's back to painting what ever I want!
I'm feeling a little 'squirrely' after such a busy weekend so... ;)
We painted our back deck and put it all back together and then, what did I do?
Painted - water color on the back deck! A fantastic way to spend any day.
I can hardly find time to read or just chill. Do what you love and the rest follows.
I have had a couple of cannabis cartoons in my mind and cant wait to get them n paper as well. It is just a plant.
Enjoy the sunshine - I feel its here to stay - for a few month anyway!
