I just realized I have tried them all and which ever 'I am currently exploring' - I love the most! LOL Isn't that the way of life?
This one is tricky- or, is it because I am already using acrylic and watercolor - BUT thankfully - due to the kindness of awesome strangers & youtube - at 3 a.m. the other morning... I found this guy in Germany - who made me smirk as I painted, listened, watched and he said things - that made it easy for me, not necessarily easy - but for what ever reason I could relate - then once he said "Gouache is like oil, except it dries faster" and "I hope you're not using water color like gouache..." lol - I was!
All this with an amusing accent. I gather he does not have a website - I can't find one.
On Facebook: Johann Karpp, I do not think he will mind me mentioning him on here - if you want to learn - watch!
Here is the youtube video session I ended up watching the other morning:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HfFUKyJQ2L4 I am about to watch this one right now.. as I paint into the evening. I am very thankful for such distractions that teach us how to take our abilities to new levels. I got lost with this Sloth this morning.
I think I read Johann Karpp wants to be a teacher, he would be an fun & entertaining art teacher IMO.
Time to paint 'doggens', a common phrase on Instagram - I thought it was just common around here.
