Every time I read HOW Health Canada is justifying  'weeding out the growers' - all I see is excuses and lies. Not to mention very unfair to ASSume everyone is a criminal just because they enjoy the passion of gardening.
OR never ASSUME that every grow room is a FACTORY/warehouse/Laboratory.

Although I’ll admit, hard to do other wise if your only form of cannabis education is via the mainstream media - I will say they are getting better.
I think it is more of a case you can’t hide the truth much fu*king longer!!

Many times people have a  simple out door garden, a closet garden, small tents designed specifically for indoor growing. MUCH LIKE many grow systems that people use in their homes who are concerned about GMO’s. Many have converted rooms, even a basement.  How many people brew their own beer/ wine? Worse - how many people have a meth lab set up in their homes? More than you know; after all that is where the true $$ is, with serious addiction come steady clients.

It is nice to have control of what goes into ONES body and WHY shouldn’t we?!
Not according to Health Canada-  it is very dangerous.
The biggest danger is keeping it illegal.
PROHIBITION, the new changes are JUST a new form of PROHIBITION.

You also imagine  (thanks to the media) immigrants, stoners and hardened crooks to be growing Cannabis - YOU forget or are not educated much on the others - The parents  growing for children who are suffering with cancer or HIV, a husband growing for his wife... who needs it for her nausea and chronic pain.  Kids growing it for parents!!  BECAUSE it is easier and cheaper! Just like growing it in your back yard!

WHO has made it a crime? Well, Health Canada and it’s changes will now make it a crime for  thousands who were all growing their own medicine. Thousands who were LEGALLY growing their own medicine.

Thousands now that won’t be able to grow or afford their medicine.
Thousands of Canadians and their families turned into criminals... why?
For wanting to feel better? Not hurting anyone. Not hurting themselves.
Where exactly is the crime?

The CRIME is letting Health Canada fu*king with peoples lives, physically and mentally causing them added unnecessary stress to already seriously ill Canadians.
I would never have believed  ‘we’ as a country or people were capable... I guess it is the reason I’m living it. Hard to turn a blind eye to what pokes you in the other! LOL

Today I celebrate with banana bread and a clean Bong!
Wow - what a criminal I am. Thanks to Cannabis : my twitch tames to the point I can walk better, get out and garden, hang some laundry and make dinner for my family - your everyday stoner mom stuff.  Thanks to cannabis my son can go to his job and have a somewhat normal life ;-) ...

Don’t ASSume all you ‘read’ is true. Ask someone who is ‘LIVING’ it.

If incremental improvements through the courts by means of a long litany of constitutional challenges to Health Canada’s MMAR program have been important, even though the federal government has worked to limit or annul improvements time and time again, what does that say of the MMPR?

Section 127 of Canada's Criminal Code states: Every one who, without lawful excuse, disobeys a lawful order made by a court of justice or by a person or body of persons authorized by any Act to make or give the order, other than an order for the payment of money, is, unless a punishment or other mode of proceeding is expressly provided by law, guilty, and that Attorney General of Canada may act (2) Where the order referred to in subsection (1) was made in proceedings instituted at the instance of the Government of Canada and conducted by or on behalf of that Government, any proceedings in respect of a contravention of or conspiracy to contravene that order may be instituted and conducted in like manner.

The new regime will not provide reasonable access to a legal source of cannabis. It will not protect public safety, it will not strengthen the safety of Canadian communities and it certainly will not ensure patients can access what they need to treat serious illnesses. Those are all blatant fabrications meant to do two things (1) present Health Canada in a positive light and (2) to distance Health Canada from claims of mismanagement.

It was not the rapid increase which had unintended consequences for public health, safety and security. It was the extent of Health Canada's mismanagement of the Marihuana Medical Access Program (MMAP) which, when magnified by the rapid increase in numbers, made the mismanagement of the court-ordered program all that much more apparent. In essence, Leona Aglukkaq slandered sick and dying Canadians to cover Health Canada's mismanagement of the current court-ordered program.

Given the hurdles sick and dying people have to go through just to gain the so-called legitimacy to possess, produce or have cannabis produced for them, Health Canada ought to be thoroughly ashamed of themselves for even trying to place the onus of responsibility for Marihuana Medical Access Program (MMAP) failings onto those Authorized to Possess (cannabis). I expect, however, for Aglukkaq, it's merely a case of business as usual. The extent of the disingenuousness that Aglukkaq and Health Canada have in common appears to only be rivaled by the Conservative Party's inability to get beyond its own corruption.

Where cannabis is concerned, systemic corruption and human rights abuses are nothing new to Canada, its courts or its' politicians, so I am not all that surprised about the Conservatives asinine and unethical approach to cannabis. But establishing a system that is beyond the means and requirements of sick and dying Canadians and claiming it's an improvement strikes a new all time low, even for the Conservative Party. What does surprise me to no end, is the Conservative's lap-dog like willingness to do the Liberals unethical dirty work for them; the Liberals, after all, are the masterminds who pulled the shenanigans in 1923 that resulted in incarceration rates (for cannabis) approaching 80,000 a year, today and that does not include the number of current MMAR ATP holders that will be affected by the implementation of MMPR.

The Conservative Party pride themselves on how “tough on (cannabis) crime” they are, but the sad reality is the only thing the Conservative Party is tough on is the truth.
