I'm not kidding - he would rather NOT. Give him a pill before a brownie anytime. I thought this perhaps because he came home one day and ate (unknowing) 3 medicated cookies... but as he has explained - he has never liked Cannabis, even when he was younger. My husband recently hurt his shoulder and was give pain medication. He takes it and in no time is out in the garage at it as usual. I take a prescribed pain pill and feel like I am going to vomit, get dizzy and all I want to do is sleep. I fell DRUGGED on prescription medications. He feels Dizzy, can not think properly and can not function on Cannabis. So be it. It should end there. It should be about choice.
The only reason I don't have a problem with my hubby using pills (well I do- because I have researched and see just how damaging they are - not to mention addictive!) is because he would rather take nothing - so as soon as he feels better he stops.
We are Not Dr.s but we do not like to see our loved ones suffer. Tell the truth- who has ever given someone one of their pain pills? Even though they tell us not to. We give someone a pill to ease their pain because we love them and do not want them to suffer.
We do NOT give them pills hoping they will become addicted and it will mess up their lives. Unfortunately, that is what happens to many on serious pain prescribed medications.
So yes if my own husband is in pain I want him to try Cannabis because I know it is less harmful, less toxic. I make him sage mouth wash all the time - what makes this herb any different? He won't use Cannabis but, HE WILL RAVE about how Cannabis has helped our son until the end of time! He will tell people how he witnesses everyday Cannabis helping our son and his wife - he sees it. He is LIVING it and he thanks God for it as well.
