Busy week Busier weekend..

I’ve had an eventful week. MUCH to think about. A little physically tiring.
 It’s had many great things happen. Keeping me smiling.
 A couple of compassion clubs have ordered a couple of books ;-)  I drew MY FIRST COVER!! SO excited. It is for Cannabis Digest and they always have a coloring contest. Well you know me! I love to color! So I asked them If I could draw a cover and they said yes. 

 ;-))  I CAN’T WAIT to see it  - almost as exciting as Hallmark! That will be a photo day!

I started It -thinking- I have to make a point! Political...  it is an informative paper. I enjoy reading it and it is Canadian and answers a lot of question I myself or husband sometime have. After many sketches (most being turned into toons soon) I decided: This is to color! HAVE FUN. What would I like to color? I like to color and think and listen to music.. It is relaxing and lucky for me ~I’m coloring a Laughing Buddha or a Cultivating Compassion or I’m working on a special drawing for someone. All things that make me happy. So - that was it. I just wanted to draw something that will make someone smile!  
 I am so excited to see some colored. HOW COOL will that be?  I should do a coloring book ;-)  LOL 

 **interruption* for all you who will understand.. Norm said he wanted to watch a movie, I can hear it as I type and it registers in  my brain instantly and I GRIT my teeth... I hear tink tink tink tink tink tink, tink tink tink tink tink tink,   say it out loud.......

 MY GOODNESS! .:-( It’s fricken AUGUST!  It begins... 
 So of course suddenly he says today to me - he’s painting the bedroom! YIPPIE !! Because we all know soon he will not have time. ALSO a form of so leave me alone bribe - I painted the bedroom!  Soon it will be September and then Kiss October goodbye. 

 SO excited the bedroom already primed tonight - first coat on tomorrow and it is GREEN!  GREEN - GREEN  Indica KERMIT! GREEN  It is going to be my new ZEN DEN.  I am also painting a few  lotus flowers on  - or poppies  - I’m not sure - just itchin’.. I think I will go with the water lilies rising up from the floor to bloom near the ceiling!I have a little buddha or two.. some earthy accents and move over mantras here I come!  Nam my oho renge kyo..   all I need is a singing bowl.   
 Perhaps even a little romance.

Thankful for this past week, I am thankful for Jane, Rain & Pain that does remind me YES- I am alive another day - what can I do better today? I also sold a laughing Buddha original ;-) That is very inspiring. Going to the USA to strangers- really, on their wall and it will make them smile. I drew several cartoons today! A new laughing Buddha that Storm and I both really love and think is very cool ;-) Don’t think I’ll sell the original but might try a limited edition print. ;-) Suggested by kat, this way I can offer something framed at a very affordable price. I’ll try it. AND if none sell who cares. I can hardly wait to ink and paint it.  I am pretty pooped and we have no curtains (primed.. so I know I’ll be awake with the birds ready to slap Nomran’s ass and say get paintin HONEY!!

NEW ROOM this weekend NEW ZEN DEN!!   I am blessed.
