I've been busy! Summer is here and I am determined to train my brain.
The book I was reading somewhat disappointing - I got all excited!! Was going to e mail this Dr and beg him to see me ;) - he would- but he died. of a Brain aneurism. ;( But - the brain is powerful - not hard wired and it can be trained- as we well now- and it takes time.
How am I doing it!?
*Reading every morning - not easy, especially when not medicated yet- my physical twitch can make it seem impossible some days. Something positive, fun or spiritual.
*Painting! I am painting every day! Creating something every day! Recently my introduction to 'black canvas' has me thrilled! The raven below is mostly the canvas showing through. How exciting & talk about brain re train- when use to painting n a white canvas for decades!
*Passerine painting!
I request those closest to me refer to me as 'Queen Passerine' lol! I have bird feeders all over the back yard! I watch them every chance I get and I love it! Talk about peaceful. Entertaining and educational too. We have always had birds - but have taken it to a new level since my introduction with the craftsy class - and my guys are just as interested.
Next weekend Norma & I will be 23 years!!
I've asked for a book on birds, lol a bird house or two- built by Norm. & bird seed!
Yesterday Storm and I laughed as a Grackle rode around the pool on Scruffy's boat, we all watched as the birds dined on seeds on the font lawn! Several different varieties!
As I type the Morning Dove on the roof outside my window reminds me - my paint it waiting!
Canada Day - We spent cleaning the kitchen together. BIG time- pull out the stove cleaning.
That is why we are still married after 23 years. Im thinking of a painting for Norm, I know he will love it. Other than that what do you get a guy who has... me?

Oh! I must say! I am walking better!! I put poppy on her leash and hook it to my belt and of we go! Straight and faster! I have her sit at every intersection, people look amused - like they never see little dogs behave, I even have her trained - we passed 2 little dogs on leashes - she just kept going, no yapping (like the others)! I have exciting news re poppy and my new California pal soon!!! She is such a good little girl.
