Radio interview

Hello, I almost forgot...
I agreed to a radio interview this evening.. if interested it will be:
https://www.facebook.com/paceradioshow/?__mref=message_bubble

The pace radio show.
I'm not sure what I will say, I speak from the heart.
I don't know why I agreed to a P.M. interview, I like Al & Kim - so that's why... but my contractions are usually stronger so I will be medicating for sure.
I also have problems with speech sometimes slurring, but today so far is a great day!
It's all good!

Speaking of which. I have recorded what it is like living with what I am.
I guess it's time to up load it. What happens to me all day long, I do get nice 'breaks' some as long as 10 minutes!!! lol- the more medicated the  more content to ignore my pain, contractions and more.. to be able to draw. Amen
I do not think I can go though anymore brain surgeries, I have to learn olive with this as best I can. Even if it means serious withdrawal from.. life.
If you are an artist close your one eye and keep it that way, suddenly your depth perception is gone.  It's not the twitch, pain - its the frustration and why I am now forcing myself to work in more detail.
I'm a bit nervous of showing this vid.
All my handsome followers will run screaming - lol   ow well.
Those who matter...

I will share it tomorrow. I think.

Today - we paint! Time to finish that Octopus!!!

If loving you is wrong I don’t want to be right...
I thought of love while working on this one.

I thought of all the bullshit we are dealing with and how much a plant has come to mean to us.  It changed our lives.  It eases our son’s pain. It eases the suffering and pain of thousands, millions world wide.  It has helped us plant the seed and spread love with drawings worldwide, inspired by it's healing every day.

It helps tame my mind, Physically and mentally.
I love it. I love the sight, smell, taste & of course smoke and peace it provides me.
I love it and the fact that it is female!  LOL
I get buy with a few of my friends especially my girlfriends! Us ladies must stick together!

Today, I went to pick up the drawing to present to Jamie on 4/20.
My long  time girlfriend Kat - LONG TIME. In our early 20’s we even went to Mexico together - tee hee hee  Pre kids, pre hubby! Pre wrinkles, brain surgery and in her case pace maker. ❤

Kat owns and operates her own Gallery and has forever. I helped her open her very first store! She is a hard working woman, I have reminded her over the years of how few people, let alone women - can say they have successfully run their own business for over 25 years!? It is her art, talent, eye for art that has kept her there in my opinion.
Making ART look spectacular is her job.

For me, she is another level of awesome. I ‘trust’ her with my own work so much, I take it and say:  “Go, have fun and call me when done.”  That is what she does! I am so excited for this show 4/20! *I would like to add at this time, as soon as Kat learned what I was dong for seriously ill children using Cannabis, she offered to frame the them for free!!!  I am very grateful for her donation of time, talent, supplies and TLC. It means the world to me, it also means I get to draw for some great little heros & say thank you to them from ALL of us. I hope to complete one a month. ;)

We are blessed and we know it. Kat has 3 handsome, smart sons of her own.
No matter how many times we  “piss each other off” over the years, Kat and I need to except the fact we will be friends until we are old and grey,  probably hugging each other one day and giving each other a kick in the ass with our canes the next. After all,  I guess that is what true friends are all about.  ;)
I look forward to it.

So if you have the chance please visit Kat’s Gallery, she frames like no one else I know, and now her store has expanded to carry gifts for EVERY occasion and EVERYONE!
Every time I go in I  see something else I’d like to get for someone! Kat is also on FaceBook

***One more special lady I’d like to thank this week is LadyBud, an online magazine with the tagline - 'Classin up the joint.'  I LOVE IT! AMEN! I loved it the first time I saw it, I think I e mailed them but it as pre-surgery days and I have given up trying to keep track.

Cannabis like every other, is very much a male influenced industry.
With publications like Ladybud -this class act bunch of hard working ladies, putting it together and promoting - well 'when inspired by LOVE we cannot fail!'  Take a look at the page & you can feel the love & more. Very professional. When my friend John asked me for an interview I was thrilled! John, being a  real friend- was like having a conversation with someone I trust. I am blessed to have someone that wants to share my passion as much as I do! The article appeared in LadyBud this week and I was blown away ;)

I really do look at  all of this each time and think - wow! I am so blessed and grateful for people who are sharing. Thank You, to LadyBud for sharing, I’d like to think I do class up the joint! You can read the article below:

I love my sisters! Every one! Especially the green.

What a beautiful day it was today! I am excited for the radio interview this evening, and somewhat nervous as people are encouraged to call in.  Behave! ;D
Either way I'm not nervous..  I thought I was, but I am in fact... Excited!!  ;-)
I speak from my heart about what I love most.
My son. My drawing & cannabis.
When you are powered by LOVE - you can not fail.

Radio interview

Yesterday I did a radio interview about medical Cannabis. I was asked a few months ago and thought what a great way to start off my new year. It is one thing to draw  but sometimes we have to speak.  I had a conversation with someone not long ago and I said to her.. "people don't get it - they don't know what's its really like.." Her reply  "Because you don't tell them what it is really like. How can they know?"   I can sit and write - alone in my studio, I can sit and draw, think, cry & giggle -   get it out of my system and on paper. I can not talk about some things  that are too painful.  I can NOT think too long on things that are  painful. Instead I force myself to think of more positive things and how I can possibly make a difference.  I will from time talk about it If I am asked - how can I not?
During the interview the woman mentioned that she has a friend with a little girl with cancer and I was reminded ONCE again (not that I don't think about it daily) of exactly what it is I am doing.  I meant every word I said.  I promised myself a long time ago when I started this blog the truth will set me free.  When you believe in something it is easy to speak the truth.  I want to ease suffering, at first it was just for children, now it goes beyond.  Suffering from pain with a plant and suffering from prison for a plant.  If you want to listen the radio interview is here:http://soundcloud.com/smokiek/420radio_wthc28   I'm 1/2 through at about 55. but if you can listen to it all, the gentleman before me also had some very important things to say, and you will see just with us two - the same thing - 'you start to get angry.'  The more you learn the angrier you get. Angry  enough to do something about it.  During that interview I was also asked about something else... the cat is, as you say - out of the bag.  Although if you have been watching my strip  very carefully you may have noticed something-  but that's for another blah blah blog...  I'll save it for Sunday.   xox  <><
