Dab Or Dab not.

Dab or Dab not. There is no try.  lol
I love Yoda! I  also am a fan of cannabis. Try it all, in all ways do.
Edibles, smoked, drinkable, baked, candies, rolled, hash, oil.
Cannabis comes in many forms and I don't see this changing anytime soon.

Actually, my son who explains everything to me, my "Yoda"  explained Dabbing’ as he does whenever I ask - or I'm on google for hours. This way I'm at least pointed in the right correct direction.  I've had people offer dabs for a while and I tried off and on.

Better knows as cannabis OIL ... concentrate.  There are several ways it seems to obtain it, in slightly varying forms. It also goes by the names of shatter, resin, dabs, oil, BHO, Honey Oil, CO2 Oil… etc.  I find it astonishing.  I have experienced some very clean dabs and the high" was - refreshing.

I like dabs & I like Yoda - *he was not created by Jim Henson, like I thought.. http://muppet.wikia.com/wiki/Stuart_Freeborn  - many make this mistake.  Go have a peek- he looks like his creator. Yes, this  qualifies as a love post, I have a couple Yodas in  in my office.  As  you can see.  I love this little green wise guy.

Do or Do Not. There is No try.       ~Yoda.

Dab or Dab Not...   There is no try.  lol
High, stoned- again there are those words - I try to avoid, simply still because of he negative stigma they hold & not words I associate with Cannabis oil...   relaxed, clear headed, creative, energized, refreshed, peaceful &  positive.

I’ve had restful sleeps the last few evenings - awake at 5 ready to paint!
A smile on my face - I’m up before everyone including Bird.

Do what you love.
Do or Do not. There is no try.

Gratitude Give Away.

I’m taking a social media break - to paint & ponder on the year to come.  Being the troglodyte that I am, I’ve decided to explore more this year, get some new music, focus less on negative news & more on positive & LOVE - not just for me, everyone needs more love.  Don’t you?

Since I’m taking a break to paint - those who read my blog have a ‘heads up on my gratitude decision for 2017. Everyday,  I paint a ‘warm up and then work on a bigger piece- sometimes completing it, other times it takes a few days needless to say- I’ve quite to collection of little originals!  What will I do with them all?
GIVE some away.  Share.  Make  someone smile!  Furnish a fan with fabulous fridge art!
Snail Mail out some TLC made with THC by ME!?

Who gets the first - Victoria J, a fan who mailed me a Christmas card, she lives in Monticello, Arkansas and has been sending cards for a couple of years, her timing perfect & she does not even know it! Unless she reads this blog. lol
Her little original is ready to go out with Fridays mail.

I’ve wrapped and labeled my art ready to be shared with a select few. How do you get one??!
I don’t know..  we’ll figure that out as 2017 goes along.

I’m going to explore more in 2017.
What are you focusing Love, Passion, Career, Health, Success, Money?  Have an idea of where you want to start.

I think I’ll give out an original to the first person who sends me a postcard for my blank bulletin bored… Hint Hint.
:)
Thank You.

Dealing with a head cold (tis the season) today, I turned up the heater (bundled Poppy on my lap)  & painted this lovely Rumi Quote.
The moment I read it, I thought how beautiful... 'a love so deep the ocean would get jealous.'   It's what we all deserve.   It's what I deserve.
I can handle the ocean getting jealous, anything else is just added drama I no longer desier.
That, would be a very intense love.  For awhile anyway... that is why we must have individual hobbies and passions - to fulfill our lives when  our other Love is "lacking" or distracted.

Today is December the 1st.
I  am not decorating inside this year, my heart is not 'in it'.
The kitchen is not finished..  not that it matters. I've discussed it with Storm, he 'get's it'.
I get defensive- in the past  I'm called a grinch, why?  Because I won't go into debt for 'gifts' we dont need or want. No thanks. Those days are done.  When I give someone  a gift it will becasue I want to - not because a date on the calander demands it, and expected to give to several - no wonder people get overwhelmed... I  won't contribute to it.
I'd rather have some good times with friends, a nice meal.. quality time with my son. We are going to the museum soon! ;)    * I 'get it' wanting Christmas to be special for little ones but the facts are the majority of people can not afford Christmas to the extent they do.
Please don't.  Give your children the gift of your time, not your added stress after the holidays when the bills come in.

On a positive note! Thanks to sites like PIN - there is an abundance of creative, affordable craft ideas for kids of all ages!!  Make something fun & I guarentee you - you will be creating a memory that wil last a life time!  I am making a fairy lamp! lol - Not that I have anyone in particular to give it to- yet- I will.  Have a peek if you can surf FB you can find a creative way to have fun with the kids or grandkids this holiday- cheap! xox
Check the snowman below to bring you to PIN.

Medicine jar madness!   Happy Hallowe'en!

Here it is Your Hallowe’en craft! I want to thank  Canada's 420 insider for being the first magazine to pick up the craft feature! I believe part of the problem is Cannabis MUST become more mainstream. Not something to be whispered about.  Most magazines (especially women's magazines)  have a creative corner - so why should this industry be any different?  Cannabis is a part of millions lives daily for medicinal and relaxing reasons.

It has never killed anyone and is continuously being proven to alleviate all sorts of medical conditions. What better way to take this out of the closet and on the kitchen shelf where it belongs!!  In this fun and funky jar!

Don’t forget Cannabis is said to help people relax, let go and be creative! So HAVE some fun! We deserve to be happy, healthy and have fun! Make this funky Medicine jar! EVERY month I will have a craft featured in this magazine! Another magazine will also carry the crafts! That blog in just a few days!

There are a few notes below the craft and a few handy hints and a couple of more photos! ENJOY!! To get a copy of the magazine e mail [email protected]  * I am not sure how he will go about this but it does not hurt to ask! I will be in every month so you might want to pick up a subscription. ;-)
NOTE: My crafts will be under the tag- 'Let's get Crafty!' to see more.

AS stated I get most of my supplies from the Dollar store and will continue to do so when ever I can! There is no need for expensive supplies. It is a good idea to have basic crafting tools - Check out this link: Basic Craft supplies    In this craft I also used Mod Podge - pretty much a glue based clear coat- NOTE it does go on "milky" as seen in the photo below of the kitty catnip jar. Best to let it dry over night! It gives it a beautiful glossy coat and protects your work. I don't suggest you wash it, if anything you can wipe to remove dust (not that my medicine jar ever gets dusty) with a damp cloth. Mod Podge can be expensive so here is a link to make your own - I use it on almost everything! Make your own mod podge   and also here is a link to all sorts of Mod Podge crafts..  Mod Podge rocks!
You jar's can be used for all sorts of thing!  Fill with Candy, you can make many mini jars (baby food jars) and fill with hallowe'en treats for your special little ghouls.  Below is a jar I also did that is just for every day.  They make a terrific personal gift for storing medicine and more! If you  make a jar please send me the photo! I'll send you back a thank you in the mail ;-)

Let there be light! & Leaves!

PictureMy office window;-)
Winter. YUK. Other than the snowflakes, snowmen, trees covered in snow - you know the beautiful snow! I do not like winter. The cold,  white - soon GREYness of it all gets to me Big time and a million others.  I am determined this year to NOT let it get to me.
Initially I had this idea years ago - we had a neighbor that enjoyed living in his underwear, that would had been fine if he was Brad Pitt but he was not.  So I often had my kitchen windows closed - all the time. I then put up the frosting to cover the lower par of the windows but still allowed light!  I had the idea again in my office I like light and in the evening I forget to close the blind- it also clutters my plants and stuff - I did the lower part of the windows so the blind can stay up. No one can see in and the frosting actually looks really pretty. I can still see out the top  Finally to my painting room! One side so I can still look out the window while painting  snow or no. Well I had the idea to cut out the leaves and wow! That looks cool! So I wanted to share:

Picture
I started thinking - this is a great idea for the hard to find blind (shape) because they can be very expensive! Great idea for a kids room and cut out butterflies or stars and moons!
The possibilities are endless I'm going now to do my front hall  skinny window with some leaves and fancy scroll work... well that is what's in my head anyhow.
My hubby picked up the contact paper at walmart for me - under $10. If you get an air bubble - and you will! You can cut a little line in it and push out the air.  My window has airbubbles - you can't tell really and when I cut 'out' the leaves that is all you notice!  I think this would look terrific at a compassion club - frost the bottom 1/2 and then cut out ton's of leaves! For me - when spring arrives and there are buds on the tree's, green grass once again I shall peel away my frosting! Then again .. perhaps not I like it! So did my guys.
Back to work ! - Never! ;-) xox <><
