Have a beautifully rolled, highest quality, finest feeling cannabis  joint ready to inhale and can't find a light?  You'll turn into a monster.. well not quite, but you'll grumble like one- if only for a moment.  It's happened and yes it is incredibly frustrating, in the middle of nowhere a peaceful setting, surrounded  by nature - I was ready to sit down & just be when I realized I forgot my lighter.  Sigh.  Oh well.
Not the end of the world and not a situation that would leave me having 'withdrawals' compared to that  of say a heroine user. .. or pain PILL addiction.  
Nature is all many of us truly need.

Frankie was just playing with paint as I ponder a few other ideas and had a project that needed some drying time in between.

Halloween is soon.
We no longer celebrate, not even one pumpkin.

As it turns out- someone has purchased a great deal of our past display... it's been difficult at times, a lot of work & love when into all of the props- more Norms' than mine, but we're both happy it's gone to a new home where they will be enjoyed for years to come by many others.  It's nice for Norm - no more work for him and he can go and see his own creations elsewhere, Newmarket somewhere... if you dare.

Perverts & predators in the news... what else is knew?
They are NOT just in Hollywood but in every single industry which exists now.
There are even Snakes 'In the Grass' industry.  

What to do if you are sexually/emotionally being harassed at work:

1. Document EVERY little incident - from remarks to any touching.
    You are there to do your job, not be touched in anyway.

2.  SAVE proof, e mail, phone calls, texts, photos etc.

3.  Try to get a witness.

4. Report it to someone before it becomes a problem.  Labor boards, CEO of company
    If  not the CEO..  Alert  police & make sure family & friends are also aware.

5. Contact a lawywer.

6. Be STRONG- chances you are not alone and we see from example, almost daily now...
     these men & their abusive actions will no  longer be tolerated. 

7.  Have Faith in yourself & know you deserve better.

The more I read, learn & know-  the times are changing.  Be patient & have faith, those who need to be exposed... are.

Next driving distracted & drugged. 

Yep, it's arrived. Fall.
Instantly the leaves in the back yard are changing- you better be paying attention, it happens fast this year - by the time I set up my paints outside the leaves will all fall...
Along with it is a cold damp dark morning! Yeah!!! Any morning we get to wake up and do what we love should be started with a SMILE..  I'm smiling - We're all up, Dogs have been outside,  the bluejay feeders are full so they don't wake the neighbours.  
My Ol' bones feel this weather- it's a part of being Canadian. Layer up, put on some warm lighting, my painting water has been changed and we're ready to go! Chill be gone- the moment my brush touches the canvas - so does my heart.  
Poppy is already in her basket - blanket on & will remain there for at least 2 hours, she is not a morning person.  Bring on this day!   Halloween thinking fun has begun!

What's the most frightening thing you can think of??    
TRUMP.  Evil on earth.
This is hell watching  him behave the way he does and having no say.
This is hell watching so many suffer and attempting to understand any of it. 
People will ask 'Where is God??  
We want FREE will to choose - until we make the wrong choices and then we ask
Where is God? How is this allowed to happen?     

I don't necessarily think it's the happening' of these events that is to make us think,  I think it's how we help each other in the aftermath. What we do today, NOW.  TRY to really make a positive difference and HELP someone- anyone. & then there's Trump.  Yikes
He is no more than a VULTURE, he appears to care as little about California as he does Puerto Rico.  God help America survive Trump...  is what hats should read.

I can't watch him & try not to think of him, it does not do my heart good & I've been reading so much about the heart- here I've been focusing much on the brain- and it's the HEART calling ALL the shots.  Heart & Brain are on the drawing desk too.  
I'll try to share some  positive heart healing or heart happy work this up coming week, a cannabis cartoon regarding our kids...
