Boxed in. Gouache on black 8 x8 One of the most amusing things about cats is their ability to fit into a box.
Put a box down and a cat will try to sit in it. I've seen images (videos) of tigers and lions sitting in cardboard boxes also.
This kitten has a bit of Tigger in him. Cats can be very predictable when it comes to an empty box.
Cat's sit in just about anything .. including pumpkins. One orange kitty inspired another... the paint is drying.
I've also included Ooogie Boodie (below) the burlap beast from 'Nightmare before Christmas'.
In a new functional outfit (also burlap), he's a small warm up painting, just for fun that literally took me only 15 minutes. Gouache on white.
The sky this morning was stunning! Storm said, there's an old Canadian saying:
Red sky at night, sailors delight... red sky in morning.. yer fucked boy'. (said in a Newfie accent).
Hee hee hee. I took it's meaning - referring to fishing life'
