Tis that time... Boo! Trip or Treat! - gouache on black. I don't 'celebrate' Halloween anymore - other than have some fun painting. Pondering pumpkins & halloween parties - I'd encourage anyone (of legal age) to smoke cannabis before drinking alcohol at a party, even ingest mushrooms - although, I do feel psilocybin are better when used with healing intentions. This conclusion come from decades of personal experience, with alcohol & hangovers.
If you feel the need to 'get high' - try to do it as healthy as possible - pouring alcohol into ones body - not the healthiest... & that is why you feel the sickest the next day with a hangover. Yes, there have been a couple of occasions when I still feel 'light headed ' the next day after some serious edible consumption - but it's rare & never has it kept me in bed, vomiting with my head pounding - dreading noise & light from 'too much Gin last night'. I have never felt sick the next day after consuming psilocybin - if anything I usually 'feel even better- the next day... refreshed & hopeful, with a clearer direction on how to proceed on this path.
Soon painting pumpkins will rest for another year- I'm more excited about the pumpkins the chickens are getting today, to see if they carve them, one peck at a time. For those who enjoy colouring (a friend does it on her phone while waiting for appointments) I've also included a drawing to play with. The sky this morning was orange - it's going to be a glorious day & evening! For everyone dressing up & being festively frightening - taking out little trick or treaters - Enjoy! I'm happy kids can enjoy themselves - it's been a couple of years without trick or treating.
If you are staying home , perhaps to watch a spooky movie, Black Christmas was filmed in Canada - it had me shaking in my boots when I first saw it. Several horror films have been created here- including. The Fly'. another from the past, I still get chills when I think of that ... Fly/man - the scene where he is looking in the mirror & his teeth start to fall out.. buzzing.. Yuk.
