Leg of frog. 8 x 8 gouache on black
The leaves are almost gone, the chill has arrived the wood stove is going. We're ready for winter, the dogs I've noticed are more content to stay in and snuggle, it's painting season. Thanksgiving was nice & we have much to be thankful for, like waking up.
A few friends are struggling, one with cancer & it doesn't look good -at this point I'm wondering why Dr.s keep putting him through endless surgeries that only seem to make him worse after each one, to the point he doesn't even know what's happening... people sometimes forget medicine is big business - all aspects of medicine, not just the pharmacy. At this point I have no advice or even opinion to offer, I pray he doesn't continue to suffer long.
Some people only contact me when things are bad. A "friend" implied (bitterly), how great I have it sitting around painting all day.. sure it seems that way. Life is far from perfect, we still struggle with several issues & relationships, we argue, cry, go through the emotions everyone does, especially after paying attention to world news and events - we all are experiencing more anxiety than usual. When I focus on God & Jesus I am reminded... and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Yes, I paint everyday - it is how I thank God and experience JOY. I don't do it to sell or impress others - I hope to inspire others. Keep Going. Keep looking to God & you will be inspired by love, read your bible. There are days I feel like staying and bed and crying, dealing with physical pains that many will never experience or understand, but I don't - the dogs help keep me on track (gifts from God) - up and at it - God has gifted us with another day!
Another day to create & give thanks , there is always something to be thankful for.
I am content to be wherever He wishes, knowing he goes there with me.
I've been painting some lovely Bible inspired art, I'll start sharing in November... it is the direction I choose to go.
The journey that brings Joy.
Note: I've been reading about Paypal policies changing, almost political for lack of a better description so I closed my account - or tried to - I immediately got a prompt stating 'I owed PayPal money & could not close my account'. After sending them a message asking for more information like how much I owe & what for, they replied: Oppps no, you don't owe us anything but you should not close your account. You can also delete all personal past purchases. It was the 'sign', that I was making the correct decision. For example, if you don't use your account in the future you will be fined' $... other stuff. Then I received several email all from companies I had dealings with - telling them my account has been closed. I was surprised at the history I had forgotten much of it, a couple of sites I was confused as to how/why they had my PayPal information. I encourage you, if you have an account to do some research and make a choice.
I might be wrong (won't be the first of last time) but something tells me, somethings up with PayPal.
Created to create... next a classic cartoon with a simple classic deadly message, in keeping with the halloween theme.
