Alice in mushroom land Watercolour sketchbook & gouache
Painting in a sketchbook allows for more freedom & exploration. When I have a new idea for a painting I'll play with the concept first in a small sketchbook, this is an advantage I've learned to end up with a better representation on an initial idea. When smaller, it's usually less time consuming yet you can decide on placement, backgrounds and colours of the subjects before days go into a larger canvas and with acrylics that are not as forgiving as gouache. I considered painting the mushrooms different strange colours then remembered -they come in just about every colour & shape imaginable so I stayed with the shades I've seen in the real fungi. Did you realize it is a mushroom that Alice learns to control her shape shifting - only a lick of a piece of mushroom has results she's looking for & she keeps the pieces in her pocket for later. Painting in my sketchbook is usually all from memory or imagined, don't use reference photos as It's my sketchbook & not really for display. As a matter of fact, I don't want them being flipped through all the time as gouache can flake' or rub off a tiny bit, I've noticed over the years. Adding some metallic elements in the background encouraged ideas for future painting, I love metallic paint with shimmering effects but don't use it often. Rarely do I (or many artists) finish a sketchbook! I have too many unfinished so now I open one & leave it on my desk - I work in it until it's full. My first painted sketchbook is complete! All paintings inspired by the Word of God, now in a tiny pink book where I look back & ponder- what I like and things I'm not entirely thrilled with... some could use a little more detail, some colours could be changed but overall It's little book of memories, things I read that touched my heart & mind enough to bring them to life for myself on paper. I don't plan of giving them away, they are my explorations many don't see what's in the book, only glimpses like above. Depending on a one page or two page spread - my little pink book has a total of 33 paintings, 7 of Jesus. Now complete, I'll put it away and forget about it for a while. It was an enjoyable project filled with love- so much so I have started my new book (a larger sketchbook) that will also have painting all filled -Inspired by the Bible & The word of God. Just in Genesis alone there are many images I'd love to paint. Robert Crumb created a graphic novel of The Book of Genesis & you can see the entire thing here: https://archive.org/details/BookOfGenesisIllustratedByR.Crumb/page/n9/mode/2up. Wow. What an accomplishment! I'd love a bible illustrated by several cartoonists, each working on a 'Book from the Book'. I'd choose to illustrate David. It's time to create & watch leaves flutter - enjoy this beautiful day that the Lord has made! Below an image from Robert Crumbs - The Book of Genesis. Fall is officially here, the leaves are starting to layer the driveway and everywhere I look I am inspired to paint. I was praying and decided to go for a walk and saw this rock - Jesus reminding me I am loved. I brought it home to paint. lol
I actually did not paint for two days, one we had company & the next I didn't feel so great (too much fun the day before). It's been a busy couple of days but I'll be back at my desk today painting a couple of Christmas cards of all things - when the mood strikes - create. My mom and I walked the woods - her first time through and she looked for mushrooms, I believe it was her first foray & she enjoyed herself. We both did, the dogs too as every time nanny sat for a break -so did they. It's nice to have human company exploring the woods (sometimes) to point out a few things I've learned as well as just enjoy sharing the beauty with another. What a difference & enjoyable experience with NO mosquitos, Ginger had a tick on her, walking in nature it's bound to happen occasionally. We've been walking & taking many photos as the contrasting colours amaze & I'll have an abundance of material to paint. It's busy here during this time of year - tourists up to see the trees, there's lots to do and see & several great places to eat. The tiny restaurant close to us 'The Millpond' recently had a renovation and made it even more welcoming and cosy, the food always good. It's a perfect time to visit. Below a few fall photos to enjoy - maybe they'll inspire you to paint. created to create Love you PIN. Limited edition of 50. Remember my Love You! Sloth? I decided to make a little 'Love you!' pin to mail out to let people know I love them, several are already on the way, my way of actually putting more love into the universe. The person wearing the pin will know they are loved & People who look at the pin being worn will reminded: Love you! It's a win-win situation. I had the pin made at Sticker mule & am pleased. I've never made a pin before & won't remake this one, but I might make another.. I already have the one I'm planning in mind. He's so sweet I didn't want to keep him to myself. Storm received the first... It's his birthday tomorrow, I can't believe it! Times flies & I'm grateful for every day. I have decided to offer a few pins to sell as a package deal with an original card (my choosing) a sticker I also made for fun (another of my favourite originals), and a PIN for $25.00 including postage if anyone is interested you can send me an e mail georgiatoons@gmail.com and I'll let you know if still available for purchase, so you can show yourself some love or get one for a gift for a sloth lover. He's pretty darn cute- if I do say so. It's a beautiful day! I'm about to go pick all the tomatoes & freeze them before Mother Nature beats me to it.
They freeze lovely whole (I remove the top core) & when I defrost them in a bowl, the skins come off easily, I drain the excess moisture -put them in a pot & puree for a fantastic fresh sauce -all winter. I don't jar (I'm not sure how) & this way works great, I even freeze containers of cherry tomatoes to roast with pan suppers and feta cheese, easy peasy. The garden & God provided - I'll be picking for a while. Enjoy this sunshine filled day - let someone know: Love you! With or without a pin, it's nice to share some love. Mermaid Aurora. 8 x 12 gouache on watercolour The Aurora borealis is absolutely one of the most sensational visual natural wonders, I've been fortunate enough to witness, a couple of times in my lifetime. The best 'show was in Saskatchewan although I've seen a few in Ontario as well. I decided to play around with painting them, there are several 'How to' videos on YouTube, enough to get the idea of How which I then just decided to go with my own ideas. Anyone who sees, will know what I was trying to recreate.. I ended up enjoying the process so much I then painted several cards with the same idea. I'm sure they won't be my last Aurora skies. It was a terrific opportunity to use some of my metallic paint! Unfortunately, they did not reproduce well when scanned so you can't see the glistening sky, highlights in the trees or orange glow in the fox fur but they are there. Each sky turned out completely different as the paint has a mind of it own at times and does what it wants. Purple, blue & green are colours I prefer (obviously) one look at my paint pallet tells you so. One thing about gouache is is dries a different shade, noticeable more with black paper than white, so I enjoy watching it dry and change and sometimes create the unexpected. I've painted enough night skies to anticipate results but am always pleased when it takes a turn not expected. If you have never tried painting the Aurora borealis skies I highly recommend you do...
How magnificent are Gods creations? How can anyone not be inspired by such a amazing sight? I read this morning (ACIM) and want to share because I thought it was beautiful - to go along with the beauty of the sky: Father, Your Mind created all that is, Your Spirit entered into it, Your Love gave life to it. We are all Created to create. Above is my second illustration of a mushroom lifecycle. gouache on black. 8 x 8
We explored the woods, it was drizzling but the trees kept us dry, I didn't even realize the extent of the rain until we finished our walk. I was just out a couple of days before & am amazed as always at the Lifecycle of Mushrooms - some once tiny specks yet two days later are huge specimen, some soft and spongy turn hard as bark the next visit & some I wait to grow a bit bigger (like puffballs) are already gone, deteriorated beyond recognition. I figure the deer beat me to eat the Puffballs. Mushrooms are fascinating. The path covered by newly fallen yellow leaves made the journey all the more vibrant & I took many photos- in hopes to paint during the winter, I already know which I'll start with first. Tiny bursts of green still growing from the recent rain makes for a dramatic contrast. Most leaves are still green but that's changing fast, no doubts next weekend many trees will be yellow & red. It's very peaceful searching for mushrooms & enjoyable! natures treasure hunt, real treasure when you come across something deliciously edible. The path still has a lot of work but I'm grateful for the work done so far, less falling over fallen trees, I did wipe out on my behind yesterday after stepping on a patch of mud but my team' quickly surrounded me & bombarded me with kisses, made sure was o.k. and encouraged me to get up. lol. Life is never dull with dogs. I happened to be thinking about dogs as a few friends have lost their dogs recently, a couple hit by vehicles and one just old - all heart breaking, it made me realize how much they appreciate me exploring with them and them with me, just like mushrooms - here today gone tomorrow... we never know what tomorrow will bring or take, best to make the most of each day. Today, I'm painting paths and the Aurora borealis (which started with a painting for a mermaid lover) as I've discovered they are amusing to paint, they kinda do their own thing, as you will see in some up coming cards & paintings. We'll also explore more - if it doesn't rain... exploring Gods greatest amusement park - the forest. A few photos of the adventure below. Lifecycle of a mushroom. gouache on watercolour 8 x 12
It's mushroom season -now's the time to foray! Every time I venture into the woods I don't get far before I find mushrooms all over, on the ground, on dead logs, on trees & on the path. Such a variety, a few edible but all magical! Storm is giving a demonstration on growing oyster mushrooms and asked me to draw the lifecycle of a mushroom as he didn't want to use an already existing image. It was a pleasure to paint and now I know - the lifecycle of a mushroom. Spores have been painted larger than they are for artistic enhancement. That's the wonderful aspect of mushrooms, unlike plants you pull up the roots but mushrooms send spores into the air to self seed'... no wonder they are everywhere. I was thinking about that poor dog who ate the mushroom and died, again it was just bad luck (over curious pup) as I'm reminded deer know which mushrooms are safe and which are not, even birds know what they can & can't eat, most creatures do. Humans who are sometimes allergic to something and others are not - it's just life... or death. Why do bees kill some and others hardly notice a sting. Which has me pondering the bigger picture - why do some become addicted' and others don't. I don't know. What I do know is putting people in jail, punishing someone suffering with addiction does not help. Help, education, compassion & understanding are what's needed. Attaching shame to addictions does not help either. Psilocybin - for depression is finally here people are aware & helping themselves and others. Psilocybin mushrooms are not addictive & are shown, proven to help with depression with more available and sessions, events, lessons are popping up everywhere - just like the mushrooms themselves. This 'experiment' sounds interesting - thousand showing up for an experience - no prescription needed and a waiting list of over 3,000! I'm excited for psilocybin awareness as I know it also helps people quit other vices - such as alcohol & tobacco addiction. Let the spores spread! Mental health is the existing pandemic, people are tired of prescription drugs with countless side effects. Prescriptions I might add that they are encouraged to take for a while, if not a lifetime. Many claim they only need one dose of mushrooms to help for months -if not years. Once again Gods medicine has proven itself. Mushrooms to get high' also seems to be on the rise as education informs, unlike alcohol 'not becoming addicted' will absolutely have it's benefits and no hangover. Some take mushrooms and still drink which is not advised, (I am sensitive to drinking wine when eating regular mushrooms) neither is alcohol and pills.. or cannabis. The choice to do so -is exactly that: a choice & we can't control others decisions.. hopefully as mushrooms become more available people will choose the 'healthier option. There will always be some who overindulged and become addicted... always. Love is the answer, not punishment. There are already stores all over Toronto (& spreading) that sell psilocybin - if God wants them seen & used - they will be. Mushrooms are good for the brain & entertaining to paint! I painted another mushroom lifecycle I liked even more... I think I'll make it a sticker to help educate on the mushroom lifecycle and spread education like spores. created to create Heaven on Earth. gouache on watercolour sketchbook 2 page spread
This painting started with a sketch from the day, done late at night in pen while in bed, messy and quick it captured the peaceful mood of the moment. It's now my favourite, simply because it's a memory captured in paint of me & my girls. Luckily, this sketchbook I just discovered, fits on my scanner -just. This is heaven on earth, for us. I captured all the girls in their moods, Poppy forever by my side. Arrow close by always on the lookout & Ginger eating bugs or chasing butterflies. I did note -in the sketch I was wearing P.J.'s - as I was in the woods - lol, an advantage to have a private forest on the property, in the painting I put on normal clothing. Maybe I'll go back and correct it, maybe. Daisy, I have sleeping on my leg - earlier in the day I was NOT pleased with this sneaky girl... we went for a short walk but I noticed she seemed preoccupied, on the walk back she ran ahead instead of playing ball. When I turned to go to the deck I saw her already there - with my last moon cake in her mouth! Arrrrgh! I was saving to savour with a fresh cup of coffee on he sunshine filled deck, she beat me to it. She NEVER takes food of the coffee table - they know this is a 'No-No'. I guess the temptation of moon cake was too much to resist. When I saw her I yelled "DAISY!!!" & she spit out the mooncake... lol. Now covered in dirt and slobber, I decided to let her enjoy it and said 'O.k.', she quickly grabbed it and went to lay in the grass to finish. Daisy is our oldest girl, a very good dog so - I let it slide. She is also very vocal, I tell her 'no barking' but then look at her grey whiskers and remember: she won't be with us forever & she likes to talk'... so I let her talk (a bit). It was enjoyable to paint, occasionally glancing out my studio window and noticed overnight the leaves have changed, now there's several patches of yellow, it's raining and leaves are starting to fall. This makes me savour summer more than mooncake, heeheehee. I often paint from sketches that I enjoy, they are the seeds planted in my mind. Below is the sketch, scribbled in pen, I think I did a pretty good reenactment. I have a journal sketchbook, instead of words I draw things on my mind or events of the day, it's easier than words & a lot more freeing and fun. Blessed are you Lord our God, King of the Universe - creator of trees & dogs! Give thanks! 2 of the greatest creations, hug a tree and your dogs, you'll feel better... you'll feel peace. Created to create Cheshire Cat We're all mad here. 8 x 8 gouache on black
Something for little fun with an added pop of pink'. Disney's Alice in Wonderland has me thinking hey used Gouache on the background art. It's very colourful -the garden scene in particular with it's stylistic leaves, full of swirls and contrasting colours is a work of art in itself. It's definitely a movie I watch a few times just to appreciate the background art, and be inspired by it. "We're all mad here" - famous lines from the Cheshire Cat- I think you have to be a little mad in order to cope. There are some things in the news & on social media -I think to myself - this is mad, crazy, insane or just plain wrong. How have we let' certain things happen - or are happening without pointing out the obvious - this is mad! I'm at a loss for words about specific topics, many I don't want to acknowledge with words', I feel it's just an excuse to divide and create anger, animosity between us' & there's already enough of that. That being said, I understand tensions getting high and anger increasing about many issues, especially those pertaining to children and abuse, abuse that can effect them mentally & also physically for the rest of their lives. If I feel myself becoming agitated, I turn social media off... I'd rather walk away than partake in topics I don't agree with. It's too easy to get caught up in negative comments, I remind myself -I have things to do. You know, things before social media, things to do before cell phones - laundry, gardening, dog cuddling, painting. Admitting reading and trying to live by The Word of God I am constantly reminding myself: Do Not Judge. & for things I find upsetting and disagree with, knowing God will judge - I have to let it go and focus on other things. Russell Brand just reminded me and put it perfectly - Jesus & his last words : Forgive them Father, they know not what they do. They don't know what they are doing.. the damage they are causing, the effect their greed is having, why they say what they say, do what they do or understand the long term ramifications of their actions. Do any of us know at 20 how our decisions will effect us at 60? Probably not. For those doing evil or hurtful things.. one day, someone will judge. Not me, not today. This doesn't mean I agree with things, events or situations... I just choose not to contribute to the madness. I choose to focus on LOVE & gratitude for the Creator of Love, God. Created to create- I'm going to go paint something beautiful -full of LOVE. Path to peace. gouache in sketchbook
This is the path to peace... before the leaves fall I've been taking photos with the sun shining through the leaves, to take me painting through the winter. It's a wonderful time to walk the path as well as the mosquitos are almost gone! The pine needles are so soft under foot, if you look closely you'll find mushrooms all over now. Yesterday we found some pinecones full of tiny mushrooms! That will be both a challenge & joy to paint. Painting is absolutely the path to peace. It's why I try to encourage others to paint. Reading comes second. Sitting and just looking at nature with the dogs is the ultimate peace recipe as well. All 'luxuries', I know & am thankful to God, for them. I am thankful for: The smell of pine in the morning. Bluejays on the deck asking for breakfast. Wood for the wood stove to take the chill off, on these chilly mornings. Norm & Storm who replenish the wood supply every summer. Countless shades of green -turning yellow, orange, red and brown. Dogs - always ready for an adventure. Paint. We watched a movie about a small village that tries to make it 'perfect' so a Dr. will stay. They do this countless ways, one is putting money where the Dr. will walk so he thinks he's extra lucky. It reminded me of the day we drove up to sign papers for this house. We signed then drove over to take measurements (we had Poppy & Ginger with us).. while Norm was measuring I decided to walk up the driveway and was greeted with a doe - not 3 feet from me, eye to eye! She, looking at me as to say: "Hello!" The dogs were in shock & silent (amazing), they must have though: what the heck is that!? It was the closest I've ever come to a wild deer & an encounter I won't forget, talk about a perfect 'sign'. Not a day has gone by that I have not thanked God, God put me/us here. I knew it the first time I stepped out of the vehicle. It has not been 'prefect', there's been a few struggles, such is life - it's the struggles that make the Peace appreciated. Yesterday, a humming bird (a straggler -as I'm sure most have departed) was flying outside, I was watching him buzz around the gazebo - then it flew right over & got up close and stared at me through my studio window. 2 inches from the glass - it stayed. It was really intense, it was surreal how long it hovered & lingered- with direct eye contact. How did it even know I was there? I believe it was a goodbye glance; thanks for the food and see you in May. For me, not to say Thank you God, every day (a few times a day), would be a sin on my part. If the only prayer you ever say is Thank you - it would be enough. Thank you, for taking the time to read & check out my painting passion. Alice inspired art on the desk today... time to get to it! Hello Friends! 8 x 8 gouache on watercolour
Jut a happy little kermit wishing you a "Hello!" My intentions were to paint more mushrooms but then Kermit appeared. and made me realize, I need to clean my scanner. Such a happy go lucky frog, he brightens my day. I hope he brightened yours. It's not easy being green - not during fall as it all starts to yellow, orange & brown. It went from a heat wave to a chilly damp day overnight, the fire was started this morning & Poppy was thrilled. The next few days are going to be busy! Marigolds have to be picked and dried for the chicken and tea for me, other herbs will be cut & hung to dry and the remaining vegetables will be plucked and processed for the freezer. Cherry tomatoes freeze great - and add a burst of fresh to recipes during the inter, they are also delicious roasted. The usual search for mushrooms in the woods provided it doesn't rain. The last two days have been spent painting backgrounds & letting them dry, now to decide what to paint on them. Some are looking quite funky' - funky = Fun. Enjoy the weekend. You were created to create! What will you create this weekend? Mushroom log medicine . 8 x 8 gouache on watercolour
Mushrooms are Gods medicine, good for the body & brain. I hardly had this finished and had an idea for a new Kermit painting. Frogs and mushrooms go together. Snails too. That Chicken of the woods Alfredo I made was delicious, if I do say so... it's got me craving more, but I'm being careful' as winter is coming - sweater & muffin top season. I'm not concerned about my girlish figure. I like voluptuous - on me and others BUT I feel it. Added weight is added pain with arthritis, so it's good to be' careful - everything in moderation -Including Mushroom Alfredo. Just a friendly reminder - have you read or watched (on Netflix) How To Change your mind. Education is key. God has provided all we need - in every seed and every spore. Ice cream - This summer I started making ice cream & we are hooked... TWO ingredient ice cream: 1 can of Eagle brand sweetened condensed milk. PLUS. 2 cups of your favourite frozen fruit. Place them in a food processor (I have a mini kitchenmaid chopper that is just perfect) puree them until smooth then put in a container and back in the freezer. Fast, easy and delicious with ingredients I am aware of - No beaver anus vanilla. The last batch was with watermelon! Oh my goodness - why do they not make watermelon ice cream? It is refreshing! WE also like blackberry & strawberry... I think I'll make peach next. created to create Holy Heatwave Batman!
Leave it until the end of summer for a heatwave! It’s so hot after stepping outside I was covered in sweat after only 5 minutes, it had me wondering how people survive it down south -I forget where this summer but I was reading one place in the USA had a record of 20 consecutive days over 40 yikes. Storms said it’s the humidity here 0that makes feel so “heavy”. Painting is tricky too- gouache (any paint) dries very quickly so painting outside it not an option… I sketch outside - paint inside. Still -thankfully it’s cool inside (we don’t have air conditioning) it’s because the trees! The shade is so much cooler & thank God for trees -you know- those things Doug Ford is selling off. I’ve been painting things I can paint pretty quickly, in an hour or less. The bear above took a while longer. He’s on his own foray with a look that says- these Amanita belong to me. The mushrooms below are inspired by an online course I’m taking. I know how to paint but watching someone else can inspire new directions, each lesson I notice I end up giving my own Georgia touch’ - ‘tweak’. The course is by Ruth Wilshaw : https://www.ruthwilshaw.com. she has mastered gouache and I like her style, you can see many of her tutorials on YouTube for free but I took a course to see what it’s like & I’m pleased. There is no excuse for learning how to paint - I started with YouTube videos & Gouache is obviously my medium of choice. Watching and learning, I will use some ideas to transfer to my own creations. It’s to cool down tomorrow - it’s bitter sweet -as we know what’s on the way - snow… so get out your speedo and be sure to enjoy the last dog days of this glorious summer! The blackberries are also ripe - time for pie, jam and blackberry flakes'. Created to create Mary study. 8 x 8 on gouache.
This painting was more about playing with metallic paint and planning my larger acrylic panting. Hail Mary, full of Grace. These paints change colours depending on how the light hits - the pink in the 'halo glow is actually gold & the gold is green. Should Mary be looking up or down? Paintings take a great deal of consideration, mostly. Thinking about The Blessed mother is a pleasure. I found one of my favourite books yesterday about Mary: Our Lady Of The Lost & Found by Diane Schoemperlen. Funny, as I thought Lost it and have been thinking about it all week... I asked for some boxes to be brought up from the basement & there it was -in the first box. I'm excited to read it again, I'll wait for snow as I currently have a few on the go. Today will be a terrific day to read, paint or explore. Hail Mary! Enjoy the sunshine. Chill deer. 8 x 8 gouache on watercolour
This deer looked so chill, I added the cannabis in the background at the very last. She has the Peace of God with her, she is reminding us to Praise Jesus & LOVE each other - can you see it? People have used subliminal messaging to advertise 'sex and selling products' for decades so I'm going to paint subliminal messages promoting LOVE, God & Praising Jesus. These fall colours have me hooked as harvesting the ripe tomatoes, last of the zucchini, kale & cucumbers. I spy a few leaves changing as I glance up... I'll let the garden go another week since we have some hot weather on the way. We also had that spectacular harvest moon - beyond bright for 2 nights, I imagine the forest creatures loved it for exploring at night. Harvest moon - brings Moon cakes! My friend Geoffrey spoiled me with a couple of tins of Moon cakes! I really like them, not too sweet, very filling and a tasty bit of salty cured duck egg yolk in each. Made with Lotus flower seeds. You can only purchase them at a certain time of the year that I am aware. They are made to share & celebrate the harvest. Being as 'rich' as they are , a little goes a long way so sharing is easy... I can also easily eat one to myself -during the course of a day. I watched a video, I won't be attempting to make them -as they take about 3 days and not an easy task. If you can find some, I suggest you try them. They are usually given as a gift as mine were, making them all the more appreciated. It's a little overcast- still a great day to explore & of course paint - & bake a peach & black berry pie!I picked my berries before the raccoons got them. Created to create All Gods creatures great & small…
Storm sent me a message asking if I wanted this bird he found, it hit a window where he was working. I said “yes!”, it was thoughtful of him to ask. It’s not often you get to study sweet little creatures up close. Did you know John James Audubon's captured and killed most birds for the book -in order to illustrate correctly, the bodies were tied to chickenwire in 'flight positions' so the artist could make them appear lifelike. Thankfully, many have been educated for centuries because of this practice. I took a few close up reference photos & then decided to give this sweet little bird a lovely send off. Death is to be celebrated - death means we lived. Marigolds are used to celebrate death a few places around the world. Poppies as you know represent remembrance, lavender can bring us calm at just the scent…. I also included a small sunflower -for seeds -nourishment in this wee birds afterlife. The bible helped me (as always) ponder life & death, differently. Ecclesiastes reminds us: To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven: A time to be born, And a time to die; A time to plant, And a time to pluck what is planted; A time to kill, And a time to heal; A time to break down, And a time to build up; A time to weep, And a time to laugh; A time to mourn, And a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, And a time to gather stones; A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing; A time to gain, And a time to lose; A time to keep, And a time to throw away; A time to tear, And a time to sew; A time to keep silence, And a time to speak; A time to love, And a time to hate; A time of war, And a time of peace. (NKJV) Today, I give thanks for the continued adventure! To paint, ponder & be grateful for everyday & every lesson. The weather is going to be lovely this Canadian long weekend. Yay! Campfires, reading, forest exploring, & lot’s of ball throwing anticipated. Enjoy the day & don't forget: Praise Jesus! Blue moon wolf. Keep going on the path. 8 x 8 gouache on watercolour.
I wanted to quit, as soon asI painted the base of the wolf. The best way to learn is with mistakes. You wonder a little longer after an unsuccessful 'lesson' (of al sorts) - where did I go wrong? I've wondered that too many times; the time is, now. So, I push through , learn I have to focus on the perspective of the snout next wolf attempt. Get better or become bitter. It was my own fault -I had started a deer I was excited about - thinking about a deer painting a wolf is not a great direction to start. Once finished I appreciate him & the moon - it was by the way - AWESOME - big bright, I actually squinted. Storm made a fire last night - so it was a wonderful start of star gazing before moons glowing. Not for another few years - 2037? Before it happens again. I'm glad I got us to see it, the glow was obvious but the moon - beautiful, stunning, masterpiece moon - created by the creator! I'm back at my deer painting but thinking about a Jesus painting -I'm inspired to do, lol. Oh, and it feels like the softer down, silk... I set them free -for the monarch of the future, Check out this seed pod below - isn't nature incredible - What do you see? |
