Mushroom log medicine . 8 x 8 gouache on watercolour
Mushrooms are Gods medicine, good for the body & brain. I hardly had this finished and had an idea for a new Kermit painting. Frogs and mushrooms go together. Snails too. That Chicken of the woods Alfredo I made was delicious, if I do say so... it's got me craving more, but I'm being careful' as winter is coming - sweater & muffin top season. I'm not concerned about my girlish figure. I like voluptuous - on me and others BUT I feel it. Added weight is added pain with arthritis, so it's good to be' careful - everything in moderation -Including Mushroom Alfredo.

Ice cream - This summer I started making ice cream & we are hooked... TWO ingredient ice cream:
1 can of Eagle brand sweetened condensed milk. PLUS. 2 cups of your favourite frozen fruit.
Place them in a food processor (I have a mini kitchenmaid chopper that is just perfect) puree them until smooth then put in a container and back in the freezer. Fast, easy and delicious with ingredients I am aware of - No beaver anus vanilla.
The last batch was with watermelon! Oh my goodness - why do they not make watermelon ice cream? It is refreshing!
WE also like blackberry & strawberry... I think I'll make peach next.
