Flowers. gouache on black, editorial. 6 x 6.
Just a quick warm up - inspired by the song Flowers. Miley Cyrus has created another hit. Powerful in words and visuals. I have not always been a fan' but after time, I can see she is another who has preserved since she was a child & continued to Rise as an entertainer & person. Bravo. What a talented hard working woman. I can't even imagine her journey & the WORK it has taken her to become who & where she is. This relationship was just a bump in the road, I'm sure she'll find the love & lover, she deserves. I can buy myself flowers. I can hold my own hand... wise words for all women, especially the young. The sooner you learn to buy yourself flowers - the sooner you will appreciate self love & NOT rely on others or not tolerate bad behaviour from 'partners'. Many only get flowers as a form of an apology... phhhbt. I stopped expecting or wanting' flowers decades ago. GROW your own flowers too - we can ladies, in Canada. There are many talented women cannabis growers & cannabis related business owners. As for her ex husband, who apparently cheated on her continually, the few short clips I did see - he appears to be all about control. I've known several who cheated.. know where they are now? Alone and miserable, drinking themselves to death wishing they had not cheated. You don't know what you have until it's gone... another great song. In her case - it's been a lesson & blessing - from it was inspired this song - who's laughing now.. Miley - all the way to the bank. I love this song, a lovely reminder - thanks Miley! I can, buy & grow my own flowers. Created to grow. Solo Mickey waiting patiently.
Patience. Needed when gardening & just about everything else. Anyone who's grown cannabis has probably had a plant in a red solo cup at some point. It's fascinating, watching that little seed grow, it can also seem to "take forever..." Patience. Mickey was painted using the new 'Summer pallet' Gouache Holbein Paint. So far they have been put to the test, let dried, sprayed/hydrate with water and used again. It looks a little streaky because I was impatient, lol.. the longer it sat wet, the creamier it became, I was impressed. Patience. They blend beautifully. I am pleased with the paint so far. I am also use to an extensive pallet & colour selection, so my Windsor newton remains close at hand. I guess I'll mix and match until my other set grows. Be Patient Mickey, all good things come to those who wait... so it, is said. Mushroom mania! I can’t believe the variety of mushrooms, it’s attributed it to all the rain we had this year… my vegetables suffered but the mushrooms thrived. I found a few edible as well as a few small puffballs but I left them for critters and next year.
Every colour imaginable, as well as shapes & texture, on the forest floor and up in the trees. Several (the orange) have a jello like texture. Mushrooms are truly fascinating -like flowers in the garden - these are the ‘flowers’ of the woods. Speaking of mushrooms - have you watched: 9 Perfect Strangers? (on Prime) a few times it’s had me thinking: Wow… about time. Psilocybin Mushrooms are discussed quite a bit. I don’t want to spoil it for anyone but in one episode they also discuss the terrifying side effects ( & sad reality for too many) of medicine. Imagine giving your child a medication that states could give them suicidal thoughts in the pamphlet provided (which you read) - and then does. When is the medicine worth it? I have no doubts this has happened to many and would be difficult to live with. When Dr.s wanted to prescribe our son with pain medication they warned us “it would help pain - BUT would destroy his organs - in as short at 3 years, serious damage could be done”. It was an easy decision for me to say: NO. Thank God we discovered cannabis. I guess it is why to date, I still get upset when people knock cannabis & it’s helping- healing properties. Look at the deadly history of opiates. Difficult decisions, life is full of them. Choices - its good to have them. Speaking of cannabis - my plants did nicely this summer, considering I gave them zero attention. I think I’ll leave them in the ground and see if I can revive them in the spring, they are in the front of the house where they got full sun & I only had to water them twice, the rain did the rest.. It’s too bad the chickens or goats didn’t like to eat them, I’m sure it would be a healthy snack but they preferred ‘weeds’ - like clover. I tried last summer too - even giving them their own plants in the pen, nope - they sniffed and kept going. I don’t smoke the cannabis I grow, I leave it for creatures and to nibble or myself occasionally - It’s a lovely burst of ‘pepper’ flavour in a salad. Lovely to look at in the garden too! I’ve noticed a few leaves in the trees changing colours - it won’t be long now. Next: Kermit the Frog- just for fun! Bugs Bunny Grow.
Cartoon characters are a great, easy subject to paint when I don't know what to paint. Any Disney movie, I'm happy to watch (again) to be inspired & amused. It's raining! This has got to be the wettest summer we've encountered in a while... but everything is growing amazing and I've not watered one plant in over a week. I don't think the birds are as thrilled. Currently, I'm painting 2 acrylic paintings, one is a landscape & the other, Jesus. I do not find landscapes easy.. I think because, I try to make it appear too real and don't just relax - like Bugs Bunny - he was pure relaxation - not much thought was needed. Still it's a challenge & each challenge makes us better artist. Each challenge in life (hopefully) makes us better humans. Most challenges make us wiser & stronger... it may take a while though. It's nice to see people out & about & most still appear to be practicing some caution with masks, etc. Do you feel a shift happening? A world wide shift... Covid - what didn't kill us opens our eyes to issues that need addressed - around the world. I don't know about you but I'm feeling hopeful we will continue to Go & Grow in the right direction. Have faith. Today.. I paint! Grateful for another day to create. My Jesus painting is full of bugs, worms.. mushrooms & dirt. I'm excited to get working on all the tiny details as I ponder life, peacefully. I hope everyone reading this has a creative, peaceful day! Give thanks for another opportunity. I follow no path - I make my own! LOL you have no idea how true this is as I stagger and climb and stumble through the forest & love every moment, usually.
The woods are a challenge - I look forward to the constant adventure of exploring. Right now, new growth is still easy to climb over with Daisy right behind me, never leaving my side. We went mushroom hunting and found some morel & false morel - don't eat the false. Don't know the difference? Morel are hollow when you cut them open & false mores are not hollow... imo they are pretty easy to distinguish, now that I have learned how. Don't eat any unless you know. I bring my basket and pick up any garbage I find, not much but the occasional item, broken bottle (very thick coke bottle) and I am reminded people have walked these woods before me. I feel very peaceful in the woods. I was wearing my new shirt I purchased last year from marks work warehouse - mosquito resistant & I must say - it worked! They mostly would leave quickly or land on my hands, I recommend it for forest exploring. The weather is fantastic this week, a sample of summer - great for planting a garden and getting fresh air & sunshine. My Sunny sloth next. With THC & TLC. I woke on Sunday and noticed a car at the gate, I called to Norm - Go see who's at the gate this early!! Apparently our son decided to visit (arriving late) and was sleeping in the porch! First I can't believe how tired I was - the dogs were barking - I assumed it was the weekly nightly bisit from a racoon, bear - soemthing that set the dogs off & I ignored it & went back to sleep. How nice to find out I was mistaken! YAY!! The last time Storm was up we were digging holes to start the coop! This time he was meeting the extended family' - lol Chickens and goats! That was fun! Goats have a strong sence of smell- they smell everythng I offer before nibbling and often turn their nose up - if not pleased.. I think they can smell 'Storm is family' because they instantly took to him, let him pat them and were curious about him. Goats are social yet skittish and althogh we can pat them, we've not been able to pick them up & you need to - to cut nails, care for them properly if hurt.. Storm made it look easy. The chase funny, once he had them they rested in his arms & didnt even put up a fuss, it was really amusing! Just like the chickens when you pick them up - they just sit there. It went really well & I have some fun photos - I've already started the next of Storm & Sativa on a wodden panel. We went for a family HIKE! The girls LOVED IT, us too. It was a personal foray dream, the trails hardly disturbed & literally covered with mushrooms, you could not walk 3 feet without seeing one. I couldn't even take photos of all the mushrooms or it would have taken forever.. The mosquitos! OH MY - nasty little bloodsuckers, they LOVE me. If I stopped they attacked. Other than that is was a great hike, the dogs all dog tired, us too. Rhubarb is the closest restaurant to us - we decided to have take-out & it too was fantastic! What a perfect way to end Sunday & visit. Storm had to head back that night - it was a short but fun filled adventure. Storm also treated me to a lovely lunch at Boshkong brewery & restaurant in Minden & we and caught up on a few things. Mom stuff, mostly. I am grateful he is so busy during these times, he is too. What a wonderful surprise visit. Time to paint- what a beautiful day in the highlands. On my mind... I have happy dogs. Ginger in particular is happy & chatty, providing constant amusement & smiles. She is the opposite with strangers. My dogs love me & they know I love them..
All this land and Daisy never leaves the property - she circles it silently, looking for rascals. I've been reading & painting, painting & reading. My truck was broke but my mechanic fixed it, not that I minded being house bound. I love it. I've made a new best friend the past 8 months. Me. I've been reading 12 rules for life. I kept hearing about this guy.. a twitch from medication, detoxed in Russia, put into a coma to avoid withdrawal - then at the library I mentioned his name to the lovely librarian, she walked over & pulled it off the shelf, right in front of me. I believe it is by far one of the best books ever wrote and recommend it to all. 12 rules for life - an antidote to chaos once again I was reminded of my limited (by choice) outside influences and realize 'this guy' - is allover youtube- you can watch many of his talks. I like to encourage reading- it stimulates the brain. I had to look up a few words. 'Nihilism' for one... lol Glad, I am not one who practices'. He is Canadian, I giggled several times reading his book and pondered `Do Australians know what we mean when we say: Your on thin ice mister!! More on that later...next It's Saturaday, I have a full day of painting and more planned. Norms busy building- something. Teachers- Have you ever taught in an elementary school for a week? You would understand VERY quickly WHY they DO deserve more money... more than most hockey, football players or politicians'. I read about a life prisoner murdering 2 known child pedophiles in jail. I think he will be praised. I'm not sure how I feel about it... Good in truth, I guess. 2 less terrible people on the planet. Apparently, they were watching 'kids tv shows', taunting other inmates.. I know this happens I've discussed it in detail with my brother, who is no stranger to the prison system in Canada. They also watch hunting shows, movies like the Dukes of Hazard, (mindless crap) often violent & degrading to women in many regards. Negative television & news (in an already very negative environment) only fuels anxiety in jail. It is common sense to most of us out here- probably not a good choice. My brother said "we don't care.. out of sight out of mind." He is writing a book on the topic in hopes of educating others... nothing like first hand experience. I agreed, out of sight out of mind but it is not that I think; we don't care as much as- WE don't know. It needs to be addresses for EVERYones sake. The sooner the better. The fact that they are 'in jail' and "authorities" seem to show no initiative for the opportunity of EDUCATIONAL television is confusing to me. What any T.v> give them books. You might not think this is important but most come out nastier than when they go in... & they do, get out. Fact. This railway protesting & RCMP are creating animosity and more hatred directed specifically toward indigenous people in Canada. I am with them. I thank them. I appreciate what they are doing for us. We should be concerned only at this point about the health of Canada. Eh. Gas? GREED. $$$$$$$$ Short term jobs for Canadians - Long term and often permanent damage to our environment, plants, creatures- great & small. I'm so grateful to be surrounded by trees & birds, snow... more than you know. Now for some Saturday Morning fun: The original Skunk & skunk . hee hee Netflix has 2 new documentaries: Weed the People & (I preferred) the Grass is Green
I guess because I learned more from the second that I did not previously know & one does discuss children but I know what cannabis does for children. Thank God. If you don't, then watch both. Why are people still being punished for cananbis use? Studies - we need more studies - fuck studies - talk to others, open a history book - talk to rock stars & past presidents, there are many famous tokers of cananbis. & then there is still ignoranc in the workplace & I thank this guy for educating in Halifax: https://atlantic.ctvnews.ca/halifax-man-denied-job-because-of-cannabis-use-wants-others-to-be-aware-1.4428094 so, there you go Eh! WTF Canada- lets get the facts right- I think a company should be more concerned about drinking on the job - much more common - do they test for that? How about Opiates? I personally would not want to work for a narrow minded company anyhow. On one chanel you can watch a documentary with babies medicating - on another you have a company not hiring - because a grown man had cannabis LEGALLY in his system. It all takes time I guess, I'm hopeful- we are this far- after all! Weeee! 2 weeds for a long weekend - I've been gardening all day & am ready to pass out now.. so much gardening thanks to some guy names monty on netfilx.. lol - & the police open! wooot woot - or should I say Scruffy said Woof Woof! Time to imagine some relaxing fun. Time to Go for a joy Ride! Tomorrow is all about the Bees tho- being world BEE day. & a I'm terribly disappointed in Georgia's decision - a statement painting that applies to both! Have a lovely long weekend- I hope not to many fireworks are let off - if so please put ear protection in your babies ears!! Fireworks can cause everlasting damage to ones hearing. With TLC & THC Me! O000o Oooo just monkeying around for this mothers day! It's a time for plants! What are you getting mom this year? How about her own potted cannabis planter for the patio? It's legal! Imagine in a year or so you will see them at garden stores along with your petunias & hanging floral baskets! We visited Leslie gardens today -they have beautiful assortment of healthy plants - it's looking very bee friendly out in the gazebo.
Have you watched the new doc on netflix Grass is Greener, it's well done & I learned a thing or two... to still be arrested for personal cannabis in the USA is absolutely shameful & I completely understand the anger & frustration those incarcerated must feel watching all the white men in suits' now making millions. With education comes change. Happy Mothers day! I still have animals on my mind as you can see.. I was obsessed with the little monkey in the warner brother cartoons that wore a hat & played with the organ grinder.. who better for my mothers day delivery. with TLC & THC Georgia YeHaw! The wild days of weed have arrived! Well - I was mistaken - a couple of stores opened yesterday with long line ups- what does that tell you GOV of ONTARIO.. we want the EXPERIENCE but not all the companies that won the lottery were ready- apperently there's a shortage of cannabis - still. Certinally not a shortage of clients. YEHAW!
In my short exploration - I thought the name the honey pot was cute- but then I googled- and it gets confusing - I did see a Girl in CAlifornia the honey pot- very lovely site- not the new dispensary in Canada -glitches- I bet they will experience a few. I discovered 3 dispensaries called Georgia Peach I can't figure out if they are legal.. I do like the name - hee hee. They need a better logo imo. I do not think it's fair of the Ontario Gov. now to fine those for not opening on time - when others still operate illegally... ? How can this be.. I know several I hoped would get the license, we all do. So, confusion still all around but each step is still a step inthe right direction. It does my heart good. The insanity -reefer madness is well on the way to being OVER... too bad we had a few casulaties along the way, I'm better off without those who disagreed with our choice of medicine for our son in my life - who needs that sort of judgement - from ANYONE. Not I. Speaking of medicine - one of my best buds is upset & I don't fucking blame her... No wheelchair access! COME ON - if not for the patients who started & faught the legal battles (some no longer with us) cannabis would not be where it is in Canada today! It's is A LAW that EVERY business BE Accessible to EVERYONE! I get her frustration & it's just another way people with disabilities still continue to struggle let us not forget the government gladly pays for her addictive & deadly opiates - but now her natural medicine- YET. I encourage her to fight but she's tires- of dealing with a life of ignorance being in a wheelchair - I can't say I understand I don't - chances are you don't either- BUT compassion should help us - help her... PUT in wheelchair ramps! What good are these businesses with no cannabis to fill the shelves? I am so thankful for my talented, compassionate grower - I love him like my son. Hahahaha! I do. On another note... * Yesterday I spoke with a friend I've not chatted with in a while, long story short: I told her I had a horrible mammogram and warned her not to go to Keswick Advanced Imaging & BEFORE I could say any more on the topic she said: Oh my! Was it... & then proceeded to describe the same terrible technician I had to detail. I replied: YES! She then continued to tell me not long ago a friend called her on the verge of tears after another horrible encounter! It was confirmation again - How many have not spoken up & felt humiliated or hurt due to her actions? Time will tell. I've actually been keeping myself VERY busy with some VERY positive thinking! NEXT, I'm going to show you my NEW CARD - very special BEAR! With TLC & THC Georgia Hello April!
April fools it appears we are - first we woke up to more snow! lol The sunshine is melting it quickly tho, and today is the day privately owned dispensaries are permitted to open legally - those who won the Cannabis store lottery- apparently only one is officially ready to open... jokes on us again? I did see on the news one place in particular - the woman states in interview (more or less - I'm not sure of exact wording) This new 'Canadian dispensary' - bragged how they wanted to start off right' & they hired an American company to design the store - WTF? I'm not going there to shop... it's that simple. Believing the USA has better creative humans/resources than right here in Canada... is a joke. Canada is incredibly Creative. It's not personal my American friends - I KNOW you would feel the same & to be perfectly honest - I think it's a recipe for failure here in Canada (well they do have the cannabis that will help them) look at all the 'big USA brand stores designed, inspired by American mentality - currently not doing that well in Canada, several locations closed or closing.. Target for example. Many of these other places all appear somewhat 'cold, impersonal & very 'consumerism' driven. Not very Canadian imo.. Not friendly, approachable or enjoyable.. Eh?! So - Happy April fools! 'one' more Cannabis store to visit - I'll wait to see what other creative CANADIAN inspirations appear before I choose to spend my Canadian money to support other Creative Canadians. With TLC & THC Georgia Have a terrific day! I've got a date with a Space Monkey! Gnomes across Canada are perking up along with the lovely Spring weather & grass & bulbs! Have you started your cannabis seedlings to put out on the patio or in the garden for this years crop? It's LEGAL!
How exciting anticipating all the Home Grown goodness to come out of Canadian Gardens this YEAR. Every time I turn around Im hearing about something new. Seth Rogan is the newest Canuk to announce his Cannabis adventure - House Plant. Perfect name for the REAL newest House Plant to take over Canadian Patios & sunlit windows everywhere this summer, I'm starting my own seedling for the back deck - one to share with nature, I was thinking a plant with seeds for the birds! Hemp - what do you think? It's NOW a possibility - Amen. How about the new shops about to open in a few days? Weeeeeeee! How common soon will it be to see a Cannabis house plant? VERY.. it is after all - A plant. A legal Canadian plant. with TLC & THC Georgia The Peyote cactus knows.. and if you ingest it- you might know too.
I have no desire to try peyote - first because it sits on my desk & I watch how long it takes to grow- it's so sweet my pet peyote, I don't think a 'high' is worth seeing my little guy go (that & you have to eat many I believe for them to effect you properly). Storm successfully grew several from seed and it's been really fun to watch these tiny little cactus grow many taking years before they become substantial - and then they get eaten? Peyote also don't seem to taste that great- I'd have issues keeping them down just from watching people eat them - it makes me nauseous but I love to paint them! I painted a little peyote on time-lapse -it's on my IG account. Food for thought. They are illegal in the USA - with the exception of ceremonial purposes but they have been abused and are becoming increasingly difficult to find sadly, this is not good for the PLANT. Peyote cactus are considered teachers. Nature has all the best teachers. It teaches me already - 'patience' just by painting it. You can't see it here but it glistens with metallic paint & it's peeking through the keyhole of the universe... in my mind. TTC drives are not permitted to consume cannabis- or that's the direction they are going to try to go- GOOD luck with that. What anyone does in their off hours is no ones fucking business. WHAT ABOUT ALCOHOL? Do they- have they ever told drivers they are NOT to consume alcohol after hours? It's a cartoon in the making. I see a lawsuit in the making... not to mention the very slippery slope. Reefer madness is still rampant in Canada thanks to this sort of bullshit. Do you know what kills more humans than illegal drugs - VANITY. Think about tit. ( hee hee note type 'o) before you get the boob job!! I watched a few episodes on Netflix of Botched Up Bodies - I highly recommend it (IF you can stomach it) It's hard not to feel sorry for these people, all they wanted to do was better themselves... God has you perfect the way you are! Botched Vagina's - cause everyone needs a pretty vagina! WTF? Countless boob jobs gone wrong, lip jobs, teeth implants, lipofat removed & it's an education of how much $$$ this industry is making, this show covers IT ALL & Education is key- everyone one of these people admits they did not research, fillers that need to come out years later because they move & are making people very sick & on top of it they are embarrassed because they paid to have themselves 'destroyed'. Vanity KILLS EVERY day. It is a rude awakening many need to have... not me - no cosmetic surgery for me, I'll embrace every wrinkle, saggy boob (I got two) - I love me too much to do this to my body. Twitch & all! It really makes you understand how fortunate we are too - I feel healthy & grateful after watching that show. One Strange Rock on Netflix is fantastic. with TLC & THC G Here we go again Canada.. while researching and checking out legality of psilocybin mushrooms -it's the same as cannabis WAS.. you can purchase all the items needed to grow "magic Mushrooms" You can grow it - but that's it from then on it becomes illegal. Illegal for a substance never documented responsible for a death & well documented for helping with additions like Alcohol & smoking. It's also been said it helps with depression (yes, I concur) and PTSD.. yes, I concur.
Upset this is NOT already an option for out mentally struggling - before the option to decide for legal assisted susicide- something is really wrong with our state of mind that we allow this to happen. WE do- because we have been brainwashed to & lie to again, still. Not only that - unless you look it's hard to find information- that is changing! We have been tot he city & they have classes on growing you down psilocybin mushrooms! There are several organizations now working tirelessly to educate the masses from Scientist to doctors, patients, teachers - all because they believe this medicine will EASE a great deal of suffering. It's all about money again & it is not right because it's the consumer who they expect to PAY in every way. I'll be closely watching. If others can go out, promote, encourage & teach the least I can do is admit to you my own experiences, if you have been following you will already know I let the mushrooms decide when I need to take them - that can be a coupe days in a row - and then again not for several weeks or even months. I do not feel anything other than- more at peace - is how I think to describe it, loving, caring - at ease with all that is. I also notice a decrease in twitching, I think because my entire body feels calmer. I would not recommend them recreationally - I just wouldn't... I do not think they would become a problem recreationally, nor do I feel cannabis would be a problem for many. For me not to open & honest - would only be contributing to the confusion & ignorance, I refuse to be a part of the problem. Prove me wrong do your research then go get some jars! I've not tried but I have several friends now tell me there's nothing it to! Know your shrooms! After being a part of the Mycological society I would always advise - NEVER consume any mushroom you find in the wild UNLESS you are positive it is not harmful - even if it is growing out of cow poop. With TLC & THC G A little fun with a curious little monkey next. '
In a few hours it will be 2019 - the year of growth - again.. Thankful cannabis is legal in Canada - I want to CELEBRATE this year with my cannabis art. I also painted a mushroom calendar- woo hoo- turns out I will be the only one who has one (I couldn't afford printing- maybe next year!) I'm still excited to share - I'll start with the first one tomorrow! This year I'm going to paint a medicinal mushroom calendar- for 2020 - Medicinal mushrooms will be next to be legalize & I encourage them for depression & acceptance... although not for a recreational high- imo, I prefer the 'high of cannabis. I understand psilocybin mushrooms ARE illegal - after my experience & continued education - I also understand it's no more than prohibition all over- for no good reason as I am reading AGAIN, they are considered safer than alcohol & other medications, I know they are helping with issues I've struggles with for - ever, they bring clarity- they 'teach' me what I should & should not be stressing over- there's not much to stress over - life is life- good & bad, no one gets out alive. Psilocybin Mushrooms have helped me accept Trigeminal Neuralgia as a learning lesson' in patience and even assist with me understanding the LACK of understanding from others. I've also noticed although at times I feel drained & teary - I'm not crying, whats the point- other than a lovely occasional lubrication for the eyes. I'd like to end this year by asking others to lose their judgement of something so simple as mushrooms- they might not be for you' BUT there is countless evidence they are in FACT helping some very sick people & have for centuries (the research HAS been done) - have you noticed all the mushroom art throughout history- especially with Jesus? I'd also like to ask all my friends who are parents who have children (young adults) who are suffering from depression to RESEARCH for yourself the difference between antidepressants & psilocybin... HELP your children before you lose them to depression & toxic drugs. Help them before you lose them to opiates, Simcoe county (where I live) reports they have one of the highest overdose rates PLEASE watch this: https://globalnews.ca/news/4658160/fentanyl-making-a-killing-families-simcoe-county/ This is NOT about encouraging DRUG use to get HIGH - this is about encouraging a safer, less toxic medicine to address issues such as addiction & depression - & educating yourself- get curious! I believe it was the founder of AA (and a well known banker) who introduced Psilocybin's to the USA decades ago because he believed it would make America great again.. (can't resist) we all know how that went -the same with Alcohol, cannabis & now mushrooms - PROHIBITION, let's not forget peyote. I refuse to wait- as my health deteriorates - wait for what? A NEW pill - which after 10 years will be shown to have cancer causing side effects & then some... NO thanks - I CHOOSE natural medicine, if someone thinks this is reason enough to put me into jail - it speaks volumes about them and not me - I refuse to be a part of the problem because of lack of knowledge. How about you? It's a new year tomorrow! Another year of saying: YES! Bring it on.. life is never boring. Ready or not here it comes! With TLC & THC Georgia It's Frosty the Growman! He arrived with the first Magical Snow - which is still here, not looking as magical - more expected today! Today is universal Children's day, Children need to be educated on cannabis so they do not repeat mistakes their parents made.
I can't express how happy I feel to finally pick up the news and read such headlines like: Cannabis legalization has NOT led to increased traffic impairments/ accidents. Which I knew -(10 years experience +) most I know who smoke cannabis assure me they are more cautious 'calmer drivers.. those who experience road RAGE could use some nice calming cannabis from time to time. As well as no surge in Reefer madness- it's finally being addressed Alcohol is MORE harmful than cannabis! THIS I KNOW for a fact. 10 years experience - thank God. My hang -over days are long over- because I don't drink anymore, a glass or two tops from time to time that's it. NO more drunken binges - puking until theres no more, head pounding "what happened last night?" - Does NO longer happen - because Alcohol is poison (fact) and not good for your health or brains. Cheers. https://globalnews.ca/news/4671669/alcohol-or-marijuana-healthier/ So apparently people are "switching' Good!! GREAT! Less death, less depression, less drivers drunk- killing others or themselves! Teach this to your children & also teach them the past - so they don't repeat it. Teach them how to grow this beautiful plant. Don't judge others for what they use to heal themselves, know plant medicine - KNOW your options- take control of your health & happiness. Alcohol is a depressant. Fact. I wish more men would smoke cannabis instead of drink - Suicide is higher with men than women... many men drink themselves to death. FACT. You can drink so much you can kill yourself. I have tried to smoke as much as I could and smoked cananbis all day- every 1/2 hour.. I felt great, accomplished tasks & I'm still here... the same wouldn't be said for Alcohol. So with the first magical Snow in Canada - Frosty the Growman comes to life! Of all things for Frosty to find in the middle of a forest - a Green house - it's fate Frosty! How many are growing this christmas? How many will get cannabis related items under this years LEGAL tree - me me me!! Ho Ho Ho - Lets Grow! Enjoy the snow! With THC & TLC Georgia * Anyone who is expecting mail from me- be patient- the POSTAL strike- still on ( of course NOW with the Christmas rush) I hope Justin steps in soon and makes them get back to work- Black mail is all this postal strike has been - again.. at a time when Canadians needed it most - they have let us down & continue to do so - with Holidays packages now & continued cannabis deliveries! One more reason for Ho Ho HOME grown. I love Oranges & apples.. peeling an orange has become a task I no longer am able to do & it's one of those things that you don't realize how awesome it is - until you can't do it, I have to slice off the peel - this also is not an easy task because i can't grip a knife to hold it with any strength... let me tell you - it sucks when you want an orange, see the orange, have access to the big plump juicy orange Orange but KNOW- cutting that orange is going to physically hurt - so you grab the banana - again. Don't take peeling your oranges for granted... for several reasons- if they come from California - the price is going up!
Crusty Rusty called me just now Grumpy & I get why - (me too) and fuck if he is not correct again- all these movie stars in California - with these fancy priceless homes & cars - how about you get together & invest in several water bombers?! Never mind the price of oranges the cost of land & life - human & animals, birds, bugs even - is all that matters . I also like apples- I do eat one a day & I share with bird - his favourite is McIntosh.. I am very grateful I bit the bullet when I purchased my iPad & got the extra Apple care insurance - my hands in the morning don't work properly... I have to exercise & medicate just to limber them up before i paint & the other morning I felt my iPad slip from my hands onto the kitchen ceramic floor but I could not grip it is my life depended on it- I watched in slow mo thinking "Oh Nooooooo"- shattered. It apparently could not be repaired and was replaced! I am grateful- it would have other wise cost about $800, with the normal insurance to replace.. so - if you can learn from this do. No one wants to drop the iPad intentionally, I felt like a doofus - it had all my work, art, photos etc.. anyhow- lesson learned - looking for a new case & keeping out of my hands until they are nimble. It has new features - I love this 'comic book thing'- poor Storm, I sent him so many photos when I discovered it! lol Anyhow - it's back to work.. this time change still has me thrown - getting dark at 5 has me ready for bed by 7! (I know I'm not alone- tis the season - I'll get through it) but it's o.k. because I'm up at 5- ready to paint by 6... ready to enjoy painting, apples & oranges. New Christmas & cannabis comic next - it is the Santa Clause Parade this weekend after all!! Ho Ho Ho! Ponder this: Norm bought a beer from > Walmart < yesterday and the guy at the cashier asks him: "Do you need a bag?" They charge 5cents a bag... Norm says: "In Ontario it's illegal to take alcohol out of the LCBO without a bag- so Yes, I guess I do - and I'm not paying for it." Hmmm... They gave him the bag of course. There you go... different rules for different drugs and make no mistake ALCOHOL is a drug & let's see how many times the BEER store will 'threaten us' with a strike this hot summer - NOW that Walmart carries - beer- I bet those days are done. Perhaps the Post office needs competition. With TLC & THC Georgia ME! That's who!!
I'm so excited to see how creative Canada is going to be with marketing Cannabis! This boring packaging has got to go! I realized it won't be long now when I went to my LOCAL WALMART today - and noticed the POP isle is NOW the BEER & craft BEER ISLE! You can buy it from 9 a.m. to .. I think 9. YeeeHaw. There you go... There was a construction guy staring at it just like me in AMAZEMENT lol I turned and said to him: Welcome to America! He looked and me, laughed and said: YEP! YEP, there it is. & non -alcohol drinks on the other side so kids will be going down that isle but hey it's WALMART not a cannabis dispensary. TRY & tell me that cannabis is not going to be permitted to be creative when it is PROVEN less harmful than alcohol- Fuck that! In the short stroll down the isle I spied an octopus, bright citrus, bear, beaver, man on a bike... eye catching colors! I LOVE the creativity of small craft Beer. Yep. "Cheers.. not to be a buzz kill- cannabis is safer in much safer experience." I do enjoy the occasional Canadian craft beer too I don't drive anywhere and certainly not if I've had alcohol. It's not worth it. Never drive impaired on anything - stay home & cuddle, especially in a snow storm like I witnessed already today. - Arrive Alive is an AWESOME slogan. I hope we don't develop the same 'gun happy mentality.. coming to a Walmart near you - look how that's playing out - I can't keep up with the shootings - can you? More on Guns next and IGNORANT - SELFISH - HUNTERS. This is not right, not fair for the cananbis industry & it's NEXT to change- because we have already proven we are not going to turn into the land of Cannazombies' quite the opposite & we should be permitted as consenting adults to pick what brand we like for what ever reasons - I can't wait to see the CREATIVITY! If not I hope someone sues the gov for... freedom of expression in this HIGHLY competitive WORLD wide market... come on Canada! Who is excited? Me! lol I love Birds and decided to paint this majestic Great Canadian Horned Owl guarding the cannabis fields (& tiny gardens) growing all over Canada. Animal can be our best alarms - Geese are known to be louder and 'honk more than guard dogs and very protective about their property. Birds, cats, dogs - creatures helping us in just one more way. My son visited as it was on the easel & said he "wanted it", he does not often ask for my art so it is his.. as soon as I get on a clear coat - off to it's new home it will go - painted with TLC & THC! I've ben painting so much I feel like I've reached a new level- the one that says: THIS is it! Isn't this fun!? Every new canvas is a new adventure... I'm no Bateman but I sure am having a blessed time & incredibly thankful. lol I crank the tunes & sing with the dogs (howl) as I paint the day into evening - it's a bonus when Storm visits and NOW hangs out with me in my painting space. Time to paint! With TLC & THC Georgia The Owl needs a clear coat- the night sky POPs! The detail in the cannabis is extensive- you can't see it here - Who like Owls? I do! I'm thrilled he is going to Storm - He will keep an eye on things! lol It's 5:30 and so dark... |
