I painted Jesus walking on water a while ago. His proportions are all wrong but the image makes me smile. I was thinking about what God was teaching Jesus in the wilderness for 40 days.. imagining letting him know he could walk on water! With the only 'witness' being nature & a bear... I still have not been a 'witness' to this miracle but believe it happened.
With God, everything is possible. So no, my Jesus is not perfect on paper... He is perfect teaching us all how to LOVE and to paint him (anyway) is to worship and praise & enjoy myself, to keep my focus on God & Jesus is always a pleasure.
I've read a few things over the years about prayer but 2 have stuck with me:
~If the only prayer you ever say is: Thank You... it will be enough.
Thank the Lord for everything as it IS the Lord who provides everything, starting with our life & waking up each new day.
& the other is (from ACIM) The only prayer one need ever say is simply: Thy Will Be Done.
According to the Bible: God knows the numbers of hair on our head and every day of our lives,
who am I to doubt otherwise.
This world day of prayer is much needed.
Take some time today and offer some prayer for all those struggling that they might 'Seek & Find' the Peace that comes with trusting God.
Or... Just say: Thank You.
