W.W.J.D? What would Jesus do?
This iconic image of Jesus, I have seen for as long as I remember.
I think my grandma had one on black velvet! Lol Goal. One sits it my studio. I love it for the ‘rainbow effect’… rainbow. Bingo.
What would Jesus do? I love Jesus. An awesome example of a human being. Love is Love.
We judge on skin colour, body size, clothing strictly by appearance.. I do, all the time. It’s human nature.
How we judge is the problem. God will judge right from wrong, I don’t need to.
I’d rather paint.
Feeling grateful been raised in Toronto, surrounded by many different humans! I had friends, relationships of colour, my mom had no 'issues' with race (other than the occasional racial slur when pissed off at someone, as many did & still do) we would attend the International Food festival with our passports stamped at each location! I loved Japan & Australia, most. A week (maybe 2?) of experiences - all sorts of food, costumes, traditions, dances, everything about the different cultures. I loved it. It was where I learned about rice candy - and edible wrappers way back when. I love humans, nice ones.
Love makes people joyful. Including people who care for animals, plants, science, other human and especially the planet. bWe all have bigger issues to help address other than peoples consenting ‘love lives’.
Hopefully, you love you & possibly find someone else who loves you too. Maybe even, a few! Love is love.
We are asked to love each other, no exceptions. That’s what Jesus would do.
This was painted with gouache on canvas 'paper' Not sure if I like the paper yet... it takes some getting use to. I do like it's pliability, I'm contemplating making some sort of toy with it. Created to create... no time to judge.
