Podcasts & playing games
Do you listen to podcasts? I found a new podcast I am enjoying:
Useless information hosted by Steve Silverman
I don’t find the information useless - as much as I find it interesting - who knew about Bat bombs.. or the toilet paper shortage - long before Covid. I’ve listened to podcasts on the pandemic, art history by women, Canadian true crime to name a few- I am a fan.
Other favourites are: ’Brain washed (CBC) Ideas (CBC) Night time, Dissect, The art history babes, The Current & Rabbit hole… just to name a few.
If not listening to Apple music (no babbling bullshit) -podcasts are the way to go while painting & relaxing - cooking or cleaning. It’s too easy to be educated on any topic now a days IF YOU CHOOSE to. I learned on the Useless information podcast the 10 most listened to songs ‘ever’ during the 20th century - the first tells much : You’ve lost that loving feeling - heart ache… we all experience it and sing about it - it was number one. Number 10 was:
Georgia .. on my mind .
Ohhhhhh yeeeeeaaaaahhhh.. lol Georgia… on your mind. Clearly Georgia is on the minds of millions to be one of the top 10 songs ever played. I shared this tidbit with other Georgia’s on social media reminding them to 'rejoice'! So, I guess technically ‘Georgia’ is the most female name song - sung… oh- wait.. Mr.s Robinson came it at number 7.
I’ve been paying more attention to song lyrics recently, it’s been an education and awakening.. more on that soon.
I learned about MKUltra experiments in several of the podcasts - and an institution here in Canada that fucked with people & their minds - just because they could. < Read it - it is another side I was never aware of in Canada. The Dr. claiming it all in the name of science’ as they knowingly turned innocent victims (who thought they were being helped )into mindless blobs. FUCKED UP. Here in Canada. We watched the Unabomber on Netflix - when you understand to the degree he was fucked with by Harvard professors and proven- wtf? I do not agree that he is still in jail… I wonder if this is the agenda of Netflix. Perhaps he is actually doing better in jail? Sad such genius was wasted on anger.
At least it has people thinking and talking. I never agree with anyone causing another physical harm - or ‘intentional fuckery’ - it’s just as harmful… but to simply ‘lock them up’ - not understanding is no better. No one becomes any wiser… some only get angrier.
It’s one thing to hurt others, it’s another to intentionally plan and cause harm & hurt - how come it was o.k. for Harvard to hurt a student and not deal with the ramifications later.. never mind the FBI experiments that cause someone to jump out a window.. messed up.
One thing I know.. playing with peoples minds is playing a game that won’t end well and sooner or later- the games going to be over.
Jesus or Karma (call it what you will) will have had enough and END the game.
