Carve out some time for love. gouache on white 8 x 8
OMGosh.. after blogging yesterday about judging a person from a post, not being a good thing... first thing this morning I saw a post and immediately thought - What a POS human! Definitely Scum of the Earth! One image. It is a news story of a hunter in the USA who was named. Apparently - he ran down a wolf till exhausted by snowmobile, caught it taped it's mouth shut, went home & showered -then took the wolf to a bar and had a photo shoot, once all had their fun' - he took it outside and shot it. The photo was so sad it brought me to tears immediately & a feeling of hatred was directed at the hunter, guys like him give all hunters a bad name. So.. scum of the earth - here he is. The difference between yesterday & today is: yesterdays post talked of an accident'... Todays POS intentionally caught this poor wolf & tortured it and make a joke of the entire thing. 'Intentionally mean, is worse than occasionally stupid. The negative karma that he has brought against himself... oh well.
Of course the story already made it to social media and I am not alone in my 'feeling towards him, comments are brutal. As expected. One wrote 'it was his fuck around and find out moment' & he's sure gonna find out. His name was published he owns a trucking company & has already had to take down his website and is being inundated with death threats. Threats to do unto him as he did unto the innocent wolf. The bar (owned by his wife) where he took the photos is being threatened & others who posed for a photo are also being threatened and hopefully charged. People are asking if anyone knows his home address, which I'm sure they will eventually find out. I do feel bad for one guy who lives in the vicinity with the misfortune of having same name, who is already getting death threats every few minutes. Wait till PETA finds out. Idiots who behave like he did usually do worse when no one is looking. Many serial killers start by torturing animals - people are demanding he gets more than a $250. fine. I had to stop reading but I can't get the photo of the magnificent beast out of my mind.. how terrified it must have been to spend it's last hours poked and prodded by horrid humans. I usually say 'God will handle it'... but I think God's gonna have some help on this one. A few places are stating they will increase cruelty to dogs/animals from fines to jail time - Good. About time.
On a positive note a friend of mine has tried psilocybin for the first time and was explaining how wonderful the experience was -he's suffered with depression off & on as almost everyone does and it seems to have cleared his mind while enlightening him several levels! yay! I think he was nervous and I like to remind people - you should be nervous about taking anything - including pharmaceutic drugs, but we don't - we think Dr.s know best & they don't always, they are guessing many times and screw up - just watch House to see it. It is a reality of deaths in hospitals - drug mistakes.
What works for one doesn't always work for another with side effects, allergic reactions and other issues including overdose ending in death. Know what has NOT killed anyone - considered one of the safest 'drugs' along with cannabis
= Psilocybin. In a few years (2 years Im guessing) it will be available for all, not just CEOs in California. For depression & realignment for the brain... the science is out there as well as the numbers of those 'feeling better' - it's even said to help rewire the brain to prevent dementia & help with trauma. Don't believe me - research it for yourself!
I am thrilled for my friend - he sounds more hopeful than he ever has... that made me feel great!
Amen for good people trying to make the world a better place, helping each other - lifting each other up!
Time to paint my Eclipse inspired Cheshire Cat!
