Praying for Love. Bugs is often led by love... in this case, mechanical love.
I was amused when I posted a hint for this painting on IG a friend commented "That's the problem wth some dames, you give them a kiss and they fall apart.." Made me LOL as that is what Bugs says to the mechanical hottie that lured him into the Mad Scientist castle in the first place, after she starts to fall apart from a kiss... Bugs thinks.
I like this cartoon Hair Raising Hare (especially Gossamer) so much, I didn't know what to paint. I'm pleased, it makes me smile and is just enough from two scenes to remind you of each event. Bugs Bunny saying his prayers give me the giggles. I was also tempted to paint Bugs giving Gossamer a manicure... another day. Actually, next will be Pepe & his love interest, I'm just deciding on the background. By the way I do try to incorporate the backgrounds from the actual cartoon but might enhance/change slightly, like changing the paint colours or adding other details that might appear in the cartoon.

I watched a terrific Ted talk while painting, with a message I firmly believe - praying & being happy for the success of others! This is our best wish, our best gift. When our friends and family are successful they are usually happier! Success is what ever makes them happy by being their best. Thriving because of what brings them JOY! ...& wanting to wake up each day and do it all over again. Here it is: The secret of becoming mentally strong Enjoy.
