Super Seed Spreader.. the 'super spreader' we all need.
This painting was inspired by my friend Ezra's photo, it's terrific for an artist having a friend who's a photographer! When I saw this bird in the hand - several beautiful photos, I thought- that's finally exactly the photo I needed... it was easy then - I just added some imagination & paint. This little bird has picked the perfect seed to spread - hemp... for many creatures to enjoy - we are blessed with these tiny farmers. I might paint another concept- just because this little bird is too sweet!
I love birds - it's delightful to have them take a seed from my hand, chickadees & nuthatches seem to be the most fearless at this task. The other day talking to Norm a tiny bird landed on my head - only for a second but I loved it- it made me think of Bird, who I miss dearly.
Birds spread seeds! All sorts of seeds- planted by birds -give thanks!
Cannabis is on my mind as it's trim time, my plants look lovely... so nice it's hard to chop them down. But they won't survive the winter. Goats don't eat cannabis- they don't care for it. The chickens don't seem too thrilled either, that's o.k. - more for me.
This was our second year with legal cannabis! Definitely worth celebrating! I've no doubts many watched these beauties grow for the first time & understood - it's more work than anticipated, especially for quality bud. The plants beauty- scent- taste and experience I hope everyone tries sooner than later.. got your seeds for next spring?
