These kitties are made to hang in my upcoming studio - currently my home is one big gallery - lol which we seem to enjoy. It's bright... I'm trying to incorporate art with ideas.
To Have peace, Teace Peace to Learn it.
I'm trying. Everyday.. that's the plan.
Sometimes, I think the only way to achieve Peace, is to stay out of others way.
Peace is a true luxury, gift, worth it's weight in gold.
Some in this lifetime never experience it. Reading teaches me peace.
Reading teaches the mind to behave - to be at peace. To focus on words, the brain must process in order to 'understand' what you are reading.
I start a new book today, always exciting. Reading is a luxury.
It's very unfortunate how many cannot read - how many never have the 'time to read'... worse - those who rarely get the opportunity to even try to read.
Happy National Women's day.
No need to even discuss this topic further - you would have to be quite uneducated if you are not aware of how many women still are not educated & not encouraged to read in many countries. Grateful, Canada is not one of them. Although I'm sure it still happens here.
I get a little discouraged when I ask friends - Do you read?
No, is often the reply... but they watch T.V.. (social media) etc.
Not much of a brain work out. Read.
Expand your own mind.
