Sloth on mushrooms. Psilocybin.
I enjoy paining sloths, this one was inspired by the bible, several times a sloth is mentioned but it’s not the creature’ it’s relating to being lazy. Someone who is like a sloth gets no work done & usually suffers in the long run. Work is the key. We were not created to sit in front of a T.V… or attached to our smart phones… I’m close to my usual shut down for a couple of weeks - understanding my brain, heart & soul need the break.
I’ve been reading about psilocybin - the new anti depressant.. why - because it’s presumed to be safer than most available current treatments. That makes me feel hopeful for many who struggle with side effects from prescribed medications. Go figure, something we’ve been told for decades - we are now warned against- taking aspirin daily to prevent a heart attack - now- scientists advise AGAINST it. Hmmmmmm. Time.
What will time tell us 5 years from now about our current situation?
I watched an After Skool that is quite enlightening - I encourage anyone/everyone to watch it for yourself. Is this what’s happening? When it discusses isolation - it appears this is exactly what is happening right NOW.
Mental health is a crisis and anything that helps - like psilocybin should be encouraged - as well as meditation, promoting positive work’ being a sloth keeps one in his/her own mind.. keeping creative keeps people active - mind & body. I am grateful I don’t have cable t.v., I have some friends I know who are caught up in the media - news & cable T.V & admit to watching it all the time- feeling hopeless and devastated - yes, I guess so - I feel that way when I become absorbed- it’s why I turn it off & tune into art or friends. I can clearly see it is creating depression -the phrase come to mind you can’t see the forest thru the trees.
Watch this After Skool and ponder - I love these, how creative & inspiring. Food for the brain. I don’t know what to say to anyone lately.. I do pray for everyone, as I do believe there is no limit to miracles.
Waking up everyday is a miracle for everyone - we don’t see it that way though… we should. What will you create today? Take control of your mind and see all the beauty surrounding us.
