Sing Spring! Thoughts of spring on the canvas... Gouache on watercolour
I've been exploring paint & playing with different ideas... the above warm up painting was an experiment from start to finish. Birds in a bush, excited for lilac syrup & the smells of spring. One of the sweetest signs of spring is hearing birdsong each sunrise & sunset. Although I've had chickadees all winter, I miss the others, especially the lemon yellow finch!
I'm excited to hear them chirping.
